Over the Easter long weekend, I hit the elusive 900 day login on Mantastic. The focus of my site has been mostly guide writing/analysis and less blog-like in nature. However, everyone needs their ego flower watered from time to time and 900 days is quite the achievement. If you wish to read about my 800 days post, click HERE. Puzzle and Dragons is easily my longest played mobile device game and is catching up to my DotA 1 days from years ago in terms of my longest game ever played.
What keeps PAD interesting for me is the concept of stamina and the necessity in planning your usage as well as content being time-gated. If we were given unlimited stamina along with access to all the toys, many players would probably have lost interest and quit long before a few hundred days. By not having instant gratification and instead having to work your way towards a goal (whether it be a full pentamax team or first +297) greatly appeals to me and keeps me coming back for more. Granted things come easier compared to when I first started playing and this is to lessen the grinding component and to encourage new players to play. I am grateful for more efficient mediums for plus egg farming, pal point generation, and the ease in which monster experience or evolution materials can be pulled. All of this allows me to focus on the fun aspects of the game which are challenging descends and experimenting with new teams.
I have now successfully completed 4 rows of +297s with ~1,900 being acquired since my 800 day login and has given me the opportunity to branch away from my rainbow leads of Awoken Sakuya 
and Light Kali 
. I finished my dream team quite a while ago (full post build up can be read HERE) Now I have the opportunity to embrace the darkness with Yomi Dragon 
and Awoken Lucifer 
as other viable end game leads.
Another wonderful addition to PAD has been the introduction of multiplayer dungeons. This allows you to connect with your friends or other Puzzle and Dragon enthusiasts in tackling some of the hardest dungeons to date. Even with the efforts to make PAD a more social game, I still end up mostly playing with myself. And by myself I mean with Fantastic. I sometimes use coop as a means to burn off stamina twice as quickly when in between events or content to play.
Looking forward, I want to begin investing into my Ryune 
/ I&I 
team as they are very pretty and my favourite colour. This would change if I ever get lucky enough to roll either Zuoh 
, Akechi 
, or Eschamali 
because they would immediately take priority as they are amazing dark monsters to own and would significantly bolster my teams. As such, I am simply hoarding stones until the next 4x GFE godfest. I am also eagerly awaiting the details of Awoken Persephone 
and how it could be used (row 
or TPA 
based) as she may be a suitable budget replacement for with the skyfall mechanic and double orb change. Finally, I will hopefully get around to tackling Arena 2, but may just put it off until skill inheritance comes to NA as a means to propel my ahead.

Blue is mostly popular due to I&I/Ryune and Blonia teams. Dark still has arguably the strongest depth of monsters to draw from and some very high end leads (Pandora, Lucifer, Anubis). Light is mostly Ra Dragon, Sakuya, and Awoken Ra

so many +eggs!!!
I rolled 9 times in the Chinese + Sengoku and didn’t get a single Chinese or Sengoku 😦 Instead I got 2 6* GFEs (but they weren’t named Eschameli, Scheat, or DKali), Ryune and Dark Metatron. I think DMeta will be a great addition to my FA Lucifer team. With Pandora + DMeta I can “mimic” Akechi Mitsuhide’s active to some extent, plus I have a damage shield if I ever needed that.
And I think I’m going to start making a Ryune team, plus now there’s one more person for I&I users to friend if they need to.

Plus eggs have become so much easier to acquire with 10x, my jump from 800 to 900 days (the time when 10x was introduced) was ridiculous. I remember grinding hard in Starlight Sanctuary and Star Vault. Now 10x does that in a day.
My godfest luck was quite lackluster. Nearly the same as you minus the 6-star GFE =( Yeah Dmeta is a flexible option and also a speed farming lead if you have a skilled LuBu or Durga to reset your hp to 1
You would be very popular with Ryune as they are quite rare so be prepared to be flooded with friend requests =P
