Linthia Descended – Dios Leader Farming Guide

Foreword:

Hello! I am Rawrzcookie AND (I don’t have an alt account) and today, I would like to introduce myself to all of you! If you do not know who I am, then no worries! I am a mod for Mantastic’s Twitch Stream, as well as an admin for Mantastic’s Discord! In terms of my PAD-life, I have been playing for 1200+ days and I am 100% NIAP. If you have any questions regarding my guides, don’t hesitate to shoot me a PM over in Discord and I will answer you ASAP!

Introduction:

Many people want to be able to obtain MP easily because let’s be honest; who DOESN’T want easy MP? However, the idea behind “MP Farming” is something most people feel they are unable to accomplish because they simply lack the leader capable of doing so.
This mainly revolves around Awoken Liu Bei, who can easily clear and farm many Rogue Descends. On the downside though, many people may not have been lucky enough to roll an Awoken Liu Bei, or any other farming leaders, and thus feel like they are missing a huge component of MP farming. Thus, I have come up with this idea behind Dios-Lead farming teams for those who are unlucky to never be able to roll a Liu Bei. I start with Linthia Descended as her dungeon is relatively straight-forward, and can be easily made with a fully farmable team (aside from one player owning and leading with Liu Bei).

For Linthia Descended, I have 2 versions: One that utilizes Anji and one that does not utilize Anji. I will go into more detail in their subsequent categories.

Version 1 – with Anji:

This version utilizes Anji 3045. This card will be featured in many of my Rogue Dungeon farming guides because he is simply amazing. His active skill will both Void Enemy Defense, then do 50x Anji’s ATK stat in that order. Not only that, but if you sweep a floor with the Enemy’s defense voided, the effect will carry over to the following floor. Thus, I use Anji on Floor 5 to nuke the Dub-Mythlits and the Mystic Mask, and also have the Void Defense effect carry over to the following Predra floor and easily kill the Predras. Just a note that Team B will never use the Leader Dios, as that will be reserved for Team A.

Floor 7 Dios Ult Zeus Dios
Floor 8 Dios Ult Zeus Dios, Armadel Armadel
Floor 9 Grodin 3390, (Lead) Dios Ult Zeus Dios

Version 2 – without Anji

Now, if you, or your partner, is unfortunate enough to not be able to obtain Anji, here is an alternate version that utilizes a similar active; Void Defense. It just changes up who brings what to each side of the team, but overall, everything should stay the same.

Notes:

  • Any damage enhancer works (Freyja Awoken Freyja, Griffin Griffin, Muse Muse, Carat Carat, etc..) just be careful of anybody that cuts HP (Yoruichi Yoruichi or A.Izanagi Awoken Izanagi for example) as you can get poison skyfalls and ruin your day
  • You can sweep the first 4 floors at full HP
  • You can actually use Dios board change first before using Ra on floor 1. This causes F2 Cerberus to hit you for 24k instead of making jammers. But there is no point for this as, again, you can still kill at full hp and you dont need to take any “unncessary” damage that could possibly get you killed from poison skyfalls on final floor
  • If you get heart skyfalls going into F7 (Threedia), tank a hit and pass back to correct the turn order. You need full multiplier to kill Threedia
  • You can kill Linthia first form at full HP with Dios and Damage Enhance (note that this is tested with Summer Armadel and her buttload of green OE)
  • Do not worry about heart skyfalls when going into Linthia Final Form. You will get Awoken Bound and Grodin will clear it. Because of Dios’s Multiboost Awakening, after Grodin clears the awoken bound, you will have Dios full multiplier
  • Ra inherit on ALB is not necessary. You can pop ALB’s base active and match instead. However, doing this will change turn order and you will need to switch with who hosts the dungeon
  • Balboa can be anybody that completely breaks defense. A great farmable option would be Ishtar  as her active will void all defense, and she comes with a Dragon Killer awakening, which can be all around useful for ALB/Dios teams

Conclusion:

Using this guide for farming Linthia, I was able to obtain all the Dub-Mythlits and Mystic Masks I needed, as well as all the MP I wanted. Linthia is one of the most straight-forward and simplest dungeon to farm with since you are able to fulfill all needed subs with farmable options. Also, I do want to add that this will enable you to easily farm for, and skill up, a Linthia, who is now an inheritable DKali-like board with the addition of some poison orbs.

Happy Puzzling!

  1. It would be great if you would advise these dungeons around solo teams also since not all of us utilize coop mode. Like your Hera Dragon stuff is great, just completely worthless for anybody who doesn’t play coop.

    1. I think you’re directing that at Mantastic and not me (even though I’m the one who wrote this guide). The problem with running these dungeons solo is that it requires a more strict team and inherit that 1) we can’t satisfy, and 2) if we do, our audience may not be able to re-create the same team.

As for Hera Dragon Dungeon itself, running it solo would be difficult because it’s only 3 floors with almost no opportunity to stall for actives. However, you are able to stall on Ceres on the second floor, but it requires extremely amazing damage control to push Ceres down below 30% without accidentally triggering her resolve. Thus, co-op just takes care of these problems in that it provides you with even more skill boosts, and basically 4 additional active skills to utilize in such a short dungeon.

Lastly, while I know you mean no harm, we do understand how worthless our guides are for those who do not utilize co-op mode. And quite honestly, the short and simple answer we can give is “it will not work in solo”. The longer answer is that we want to make this more accessible to all (if not a majority of our audience) and almost everyone has access to co-op these dungeons via Discord

      1. That makes sense, but I still don’t think it’d be a waste of time for you to consider writing solo teams. If the goal is to make the content more accessible to all, and most of the content concerns co-op mode, then the next step would be to include solo team compositions, or like you mentioned the disclaimer that “it will not work in solo”. If you don’t want to write a solo team because you think it’ll be so strict that it alienates some of the audience then you may want to consider what writing co-op does to your solo players. I like to play at work when I can’t access discord or another device, so co-op usually isn’t an option for me. But hey, I’m just a freeloader and I’ve always enjoyed the content on this site. I’ll keep reading it no matter what. Thanks and keep it up

        1. Hmm, to be honest, the idea behind co-op is how you’re able to utilize 10 actives in a relatively short dungeon. Farming these dungeons solo is well, not as luxurious and not as speedy because you may not be able to fully utilize a partner for Skill Boosts and ease of Dios Swiping to easily kill each floor.

As for a solo guide, in that case, it becomes less of a “farming” type of clear but rather a thing where you simply just actually play the dungeon. If you really wanted to farm Linthia solo, you might be able to get away with using Yamamoto lead with full Yamato subs and Sado inherits to cheese your way through every floor, but even then, people might not have the luxury of having those cards.

While I do agree with how you say that it’s not a waste of time for me (or anybody at this point) to consider creating a solo guide, trust me. I have considered a solo guide…. And I’ve failed. The whole idea behind “button farming” rogue dungeons is to abuse the co-op system with both sides bring Dioses and Skill Boosts and other cards with certain actives to get past the mechanic of the dungeon and simply running it solo just doesn’t make it fast, nor even a “farming team” at that and you are unable to pack all that in one feasible team to make the dungeon extremely easy to clear.

I’m sorry that you don’t have immediate access to co-op via discord and other means. But thanks for the constructive criticism! 😀

          1. The unfortunate reality is that I have been playing this game less and less over the past 6 months and this one of the reasons. I feel I have no chance at beating any of these end game dungeons in solo mode and I have been an ISP player for almost 2 years so I have pretty strong teams. I honestly have no interest in co-op mode even though it may be easy with discord. I just don’t get gaming enjoyment out of that. Anyhow maybe it’s just time for me to find a new game that fits my needs. It’s a bummer because I still enjoy the game.

  2. Nice guide man! I’m using something similar,
I don’t have alb in my alt account, so I’m pairing with Australis.
I’m using Australis/Dios/Dios/Grodin/Avalon in my alt acc & Alb/Dios/Dios/Dios/Perseus(Ra) in the main.
Easy mp from Linthia dungeon. 🙂

  3. If neither have ALB, then Dios / Dios works great too! You simple put Ra on to the Team A side as a sub, then make Dios the leader. On Floor 1, USE DIOS ACTIVE FIRST, then use Ra. Cerberus will hit you for 20K pre-emptive if the floor is monocolor, then swipe and proceed as normal.

    Team A: Dios / Ra / Anji / Dios / Dios

    Team B: Dios / Dios / Dios / GOdin / A.Freyja

Team A is responsible for using Ra on floor 1 AND Anji on the dub-mythlit floor. Team B will use GOdin to unbind Awoken skills. Freyja’s burst is kinda-sorta unnecessary but I’ve run into situations where Linthia’s pre-evo didn’t die without Freyja so there she is. Pretty much foolproof, you only die if you get too many hearts that heal you to full or you get poison skyfall’d to death by Linthia.

    1. Good call in making a Double Dios-lead guide! 😀

Honestly, I could’ve done the same, but Linthia was the first guide I made and I just never looked back at it to edit it and make it “better”. LOL. Thanks for filling in a Double Dios-lead Linthia guide! 😀

  4. To all of those asking for solo guides, I get it. I am a solo player and I get my rage at not being able to do content without going MP(Hera and Hephaestus Dragons I am looking your way).

But when it comes to content that can be farmed alone, I don’t think you can get the same ease of clearing no matter what build you have. In solo play, you don’t have enough mindless actives (ie. full board changers) and you don’t have enough skill boost awakenings to make sure they are all up when you need them.

So you have to rely on preparation and skill. Every. Single. Time. Mantastic did a great article while back on how to prepare:

How to Research and Plan for a Dungeon – Puzzledragonsx & PadGuide

For me, the major parts of farming Linthia require:

Kill 1st floor in 1 turn or pretty much instant kill
Kill 3rd floor in 1 turn to avoid binds
Kill 5th floor by doing enough damage to break through armour within 5 turns
Kill 6th floor via Armour break, poison, or True damage
Kill 8th floor in 1 turn
Kill last floor in 1 turn after using Awoken Skill bind clear

Ideally you are speed farming so you would want to sweep all floors in one go, but if you run a build that needs to stall; floors 2, 4(as long as you don’t know below HP thresholds) and 7 (for only 5 attacks) are there.

For my speed build I do:
    Raijin
    Grodin
    Rozuel(Nim Assist)
    Dark Metatron (Famiel Assist)
    Kaede
    Raijin

If I weren’t running this build, I would probably do reincarnated bastet but the same tactics would be the same.
