Ganesha’s Treasure Trove – Overview & Why You Should be Farming

Introduction

Puzzle and Dragons has dramatically shifted over the past few years to a coop-based game if one wants to be as efficient as possible. This has it’s pros and cons, but being forced to play in multiplayer is impractical for many players. As such, having a viable solo mode experience is always welcomed and Ganesha’s Treasure Trove is just what the doctor ordered.

Ganesha’s Treasure Trove is a 1 week event that can only be completed in solo mode and is easily the most efficient way to farm Super Snow Globes. As such, it is well worth your time/stamina to play this dungeon as much as possible during the week.

This article will summarize how the dungeon/Monster Exchange system works for Ganesha’s Treasure Trove along with a sample speed farming team.

Monster Exchange System

Ganesha’s Treasure Trove drops special Medals at random and these can be traded in via the Monster Exchange System under the Event tab.

The above image shows 1 Bronze, 2 Silver, and 1 Gold Medal (left to right). 3 Bronze Medals can be exchanged for a Silver and 3 Silvers for a Gold:

Once Gold Medals have been acquired, they can be traded in for valuable items, but the Super Snow Globe is the most valuable.

Super Snow Globes

Super Snow Globes are still a rare item as the only way to “efficiently” farm them is by playing Arena 4 five times and exchanging the Snow Globes that drop. This takes 250/500 (coop/solo) stamina and is not a pleasant nor easy dungeon overall.

Thus, by being able to button/swipe through an easy dungeon for less stamina is amazing.

Drawing upon anecdotal evidence from many players and hundreds of runs, it can be conservatively estimated that each run drops a little under 1 Gold Medal after trading. As such, let us assume it takes 6.5-7 runs to acquire 5 Gold Medals (195-210 stamina). This number is already lower than the Arena 4 rate in coop mode and takes a fraction of the time.

While players may  be tempted by the Skill Delay Resists (3 Gold Medals), they are featured sporadically in events where it takes 50/100 stamina for one to drop. This is more efficient than Ganesha’s Treasure Trove along with being nearly as fast when set up properly in coop mode (see my sample clear of Norse Rush HERE).

Sample farming team

Ganesha’s Treasure Trove is a relatively easy dungeon and has countless different farming compositions and is simply a matter of finding what works best for your Monster Box. For myself, I was able to utilize a Fire team that abused the God Killers on No.6:

Ganesha’s Treasure Trove – Skill Boost Badge
Card
Inherit 3273 3270
Latent Healer KillerHealer Killer Healer KillerHealer Killer
Kaede team – SB Badge

Conclusion

Ganesha’s Treasure Trove is a wonderful event that gives solo mode players something viable to farm. It is currently the most efficient place to farm Super Snow Globes and I encourage players to stock up as much as possible during the next 7 days.

Happy Puzzling!

    1. the exp/coins amount is pretty bad(unless ur lower ranked obviously), ur not going to be able to do double ganesha due to not having enough dmg to kill some of the floors. 50k coins and 30k exp is meh, if u want to farm coins, do it during the weekend and get 1 mil+ per run, if u want exp, just farm monday.

      1. While it is possible to use 1-2 Ganeshas, it will dramatically slow down your clear rates and the overall reward is not that impressive

If you really want to get the most bang for your stamina along with extending your play time, it can be done (just need to bring a leader swap)

  1. Your blog’s got ads that are doing redirects / back button redirects so I can’t get back to the content on mobile, just letting you know.

  2. What’s the purpose of farming lots of rainbow globes?

Is it just for the initial limit break through? Or are they the most efficient for leveling also?

    1. They are mostly for limit breaking but at this point in time we do not have any viable way to farm them otherwise (unlike the other potential rewards). As such, it can be advantageous to stock up

    1. No, they’re not related to the rainbow medals. It sounds like if there’s a repeat of a gold/silver/bronze medal event, the rewards are the same (tama, piis, super snowglobes). And they don’t stack, so there’s no real reason to stock up.
