Question Time with Mantastic – May 2019

Introduction

The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.

With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.

If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.

Do’s and Don’t

download For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:

  • Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
  • What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
  • Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?

x The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:

  • Anything that Google/Padx can answer
  • A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”

Conclusion

I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.

Happy Puzzling!

  1. Hi, I want to ask for the best way to get “S” rank in a quest (ie : ECO Collab dungeon etc) . What leader do you usually use and did you bring along a full team or just like 2 subs?

    Like

    1. The most important part of achieving S-rank in most dungeons is keeping your average rarity as low as possible. This will usually give you enough points to make S-rank just by completing the dungeon. While Just having a leader and a friend is usually adequate, but keeping a useful sub with FUA, like Mel, can help clear the occasional resolve spawn. The difference between 1 sub and no subs can easily be made up with a few more combos.

Choosing a leader is fairly straightforward: a leader should have high attack multipliers, and easy activation. Damage shield is rarely helpful. As such, any leader like Ed or Ciel will do, as a X12-x14 multiplier is more than enough to clear the relatively low health spawns found in S-rank dungeons.

        1. You don’t need to do that anymore. You can just leave the sub slots blank and they will count as 0 star.

    2. I am not mantastic but I typically S-rank with either Valk Ciel, Madoo, or Scheat, depending on the dungeon requirements (Scheat if FUA needed, etc) and paired with same helper. That has worked almost every time

      Like

    3. I usually bring Valkyrie Ciel because of her higher HP (can survive pre-emptive hits), built in movement time, and high personal damage

Most of the time I run 0-1 subs with a FUA being the 1 sub if needed =)

      1. Thanks all for the recommendation. So I conclude that Ciel is the most preferred choice. I hope it works for me too 🙂

  2. Two questions:
1 what can I do to be able to challenge/clear A4… I have tried probably 8 times and haven’t made it very far (around rushana)

My two teams I have tried are a Barbara team (lacking vdp and Mel) and a Leo Bloomfield team with low health but a shield…

Both teams have a cotton with carat assist
    Fujin with Rathian inherit
    Jhoira with sumire inherit

Also I have a amen team I use to have fun clearing easy dungeons which is paired with evolved Veroah as a fixed helper and subs being haku Meimei Karin and Lajoa… what inherits/ changes would you recommend (I have 4 other hakus who just need skill ups)

(Amen has red Sonia sword equipment)

    1. Without a VDP option, it will be quite difficult to clear A4 on a regular basis due to the fact that the final Diara floor will be a nightmare. Have you used your Spring Fest Medal? Echidna is a solid VDP option for BJ

Also, having full Poison Resist is pretty important

      1. I used medal on Rex

Two subs I could use are mega Odin and/or Madoo

I have a second Rathian for 120% resistance but that may not be the most efficient + I don’t know who to stick it on…

        Like

        1. Madoo and Red/Blue Odin are viable VDP options and would lean more towards the Odins as they have a useful active skill for +combos and board flooding for VDP

If you run Odin, you can use the Rathian as his inherit as you would plan on using the base skill

  3. Hi Mantastic!
I’m having difficulties with the Training Arenas. I’ve tried 2 real teams: A DMeta team and a Reeche team, neither of which have been successful. I’ve been thinking of a Minerva cheese team, and already have Minerva, Lifive, and Charite. To get the 2x El Dorados is it best to wait for PAD Z Collab, or keep hoping one will drop in Gran Reverse Descended? I can always hope a friend will trade me one as well. Am I taking the wrong approach to beating the Training Arenas?

    Like

    1. Training Arena is essentially a test of your damage output. Everything has high health, and the last few levels have absurdly high health. The common x14-x16 multipliers can have a hard time meeting an acceptable damage output. Having a x20-x21 multiplier lead that you can reliably activate is recommended. If you can do better, the extra damage always helps, but keep in mind most spawns can hit hard.

Luckily, Training Arena spawns have similar typing, and if you have a Devil Killer SA Praline with Balance Killer assist weapon, you are nearly halfway done. The fire Zearog weapon assist helps deal with the last floor. However, even with very high damage output through a leader and stacked killers, the second to last floor will still probably require burst damage, carat is very useful here, but you will be able to get by with a lower damage multiplier with some difficulty and an orb changer.

As Training Arena is a normal dungeon, you don’t have to worry about bringing resist, FUA, or awoken clear subs. It is worth considering bringing a Guard Break awakening to deal with high defense spawns, but it is far more convenient to just equip the Mass Attack badge.

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Oh boy, I feel like an idiot, I meant to say the Ultimate Arenas under Technical Dungeons, not Training Arena! But to be fair, I did just recently beat the Training Arena using DMeta / Eir / Mito / Luci / Durga / DMeta. I had tried many times using Praline/Zaerog,, but could never cut it…

        Like

    2. Which parts are giving you trouble in Training Arena?

Off the top of my head, using Guard break/100% Def break/proper killers/latents for the various spawns can greatly improve consistency

  4. Hi Mantastic, I just wanted to know what is the best mind set to have when strictly matching for combos. I’ve gotten very good at making my board nice and neat when matching but they’re always a 3 orb(xxx) combo usually. Which is nice since i can clear a board for 7+ combo but when I watch you or other skilled players play, you match in a way that seems almost random but always seem to get max combos and use your time efficiently. 5 orbs here 4 over the 3 right here etc. So whats the trick? Orb counting? Thanks in advance. Love your content.

  5. Hi!

So, there’s quite a bunch of dupes in my box. Something I’ve been wondering about is if it’s always better to go for the Awoken (/Reincarnated) uevos of cards instead of the other versions.

For example, there’s multiple Artemises, Astaroths, Michaels, Hakus, Osiris, etc. just sitting around unevolved; maybe I’m not seeing it but I can’t find a reason to go for “less” than Awoken/Reincarnated. Am I missing something here? Thanks!

    Like

    1. No, you are exactly right. Most (but not all) pantheon units have objectively better REvo forms due to powercreep. While some units may have different actives that satisfy niche team-building requirements, the real reason you don’t want to evolve duplicate pantheon units is simply because its a waste of materials and exp. If you do need multiple REvos of a card, you can always make it when needed.

The real question is, is there any reason to not sell that 4th awoken freyr from the SGF?

      Like

    2. Most of the time, the top evo is the best choice but sometimes the base actives are more favrouable. An example is Amaterasu who has a full heal instead of 40% in her lower forms

I would not make anything unless you need it as they do cost a modest amount of resources

  6. I’ve come to a crossroads recently with this MonsterHunter Collab. I have the necessary trade fodder for the following: Diablos, Amatsu, Zinogre, and Fatalis. The monsters I’m trading away are 2 Veroah (i have way too many), 2 Yama Tsukami, and a Nergigante.

I don’t own any of the 7star Monster Hunter monsters (besides the ones I’m trading away). My main leaders nowadays are: Dmeta, B&J, and NYArtemis.

Any recommendation on which monster I should trade for? I fear that I do not have the sub pool to make a decent Fatalis team. I also have Reeche so I’m not too keen on trading for Zinogre.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Like

    1. Just out of curiosity…. how many Veroah do you have in total?
When you have more than 4 Veroah… she can actually form a super luxury team.

      Like

      1. My typical DMeta build has:
1)Eir or OdinDra (with Gungnir assist),
2)Revo Izanagi (with Shinji/Fenrir assist depending on what’s needed), 3)Kami (the evo with wood sub att. and Diena assist),
4)Revo Lucifer or Tokugawa Ieyasu (with sheena assist).

I only have 3 Veroah. But to be honest, I never use her and I’d rather have other things. Plus her leader skill is a little uncomfortable to use. I’m only going to trade away 2 of her because I’d like to keep one. Kind of like a trophy.

        Like

        1. Your Dark Metatron team is quite solid overall but if you are yearning for a different play style and have the dupes to spare, Fatalis is the best option

          Like

          1. Makes sense. I wouldn’t mind an L-shape leader. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, (this is probably a really dumb question) do you think there is any justification in a Diablos trade? Or is that too wasteful?

            Like

      2. Just to add more to this, I really doubt that the monsters in this collab will become future trade fodder (like Yama or Nergigante), which is why i am so willing to trade for something.
I think I have slowly come to justify Amatsu for my B&J team. Although Diablos would be equally awesome to have, since the only other 7×6 leader in my box is Christmas Ilmina (which I run with Myr for heart cross).
Also, according to the padprotic website, EITHER Diablos or Eir will be receiving buffs in the future…? O_o
I don’t know. I guess I’ve ruled out Fatalis from my list because I already have the right monsters for DMeta.

        1. I view Fatalis as a side-grade/slight step down compared to a well crafted Dark Metatron team due to his greater difficulty in handling VDP and resolve

          Like

          1. I agree. I recently watched your AA2 and A5 Fatalis runs and trying to do FUA, VDP, and an L on that board looked pretty rough.

Also, do you think Fatalis could be a decent sub on a different dark team? I can only really see him on a Veroah, Kami, or Anubis team.

            Like

            1. Fatalis’s awakenings favour L-teams and he is the best at that and his VDP potential is modest at best (harder to tap into L+VDP, esp on other teams who may need combos)

              Like

              1. I JUST traded for Fatalis a few hours ago and I really do enjoy it.
just wish it was more “swipey” like Scheat or Madoo (both which I have yet to acquire). Fingers crossed for Spring Fest part 2 this week >_<

Thanks for all the advice! I appreciate it! 🙂

  7. I am aware this is a common question this two weeks but here we go:
    – is it worth trading for Fatalis if I am only sacrificing dupes (4 Reeches, 3 salines)? I would be parting with two reeches, keeping one for use and one as hat form, 2 salines, and 1 Halloween Sonia (no use for her). Tempted to keep a saline in case the hat is a must
    – I have a kuro loop and a decent black box to provide orbs (but no Hiei)

    Thanks!

    1. What other strong leaders do you own? Main idea I feel with trading for Fatalis is acquiring something that will help you clear more content

With that being said, what would your team look like and how does it stack up against other options?

      Like

      1. My most used leaders are:
        – Reeche: Strong 7c subs
        – DMeta: pretty much the same team I have seen you use
        – Madoo/Scheat/Ryune: farming purposes mostly
        – Valk Ciel: S ranking mostly

I think Fatalis would help me with the hardest arenas and content, since I have also been lucky to roll the weapon resists this time around

Team wise, I am thinking kuro, HMyne (kuro), ROdin (For VDP) and flex. Kami, Eir, Seraph Luci, Makoto… and others. What do you recommend as musts?

        Like

        1. Ah I had not realized that Fatalis comes with double VDP 🙂 that sweetens the deal. I can use someone else, maybe a damage absorb sub instead of ROdin

          Like

        2. If you are running a similar dark Metatron team as I am, you should be able to solo all the Arenas, especially now with the additional MH weps

Is that team listed for Fatalis?

  8. Hello Mantastic! Is Dark Athena still viable if you have three REvo Hakus? (I have all the subs but not sure if I should invest in D Athena).

    Like

      1. I should have been specific; I meant viable as in super-fast clear rate. My bad. I know that she isn’t viable as a top-tier contender (I run Fatalis and Reeche) but both take considerable thought to fit either 7 combos or the L. I want a team to mindlessly farm moderately difficult content like A3 and such (so no button farming).

Also, if I do not have Akuma but I have two Nergigantes and Eir, what is a useful fourth sub? I run Eschamali for now to get rid of poison and jammers (I haven’t set up weapon assists yet).

        Like

  9. I’ve seen you run Fatalis to beat AA2 and A5 but out of curiosity, is there a reason you do not run a kuroyuri loop? I actually find it quite difficult to deal with the 15 turns of poison orb skyfall in A5 without a kuro system.

    Like

    1. I personally do not like using Kuro loops as you lose out on 2 active slots whereas Eir can handle the healing via heart TPA

As for the poison skyfalls, I use fenrir to override them. Yes that is a “wasted” active for the most part but I tend to inherit over someone who has a strong active like Gremory or Nergigante

  10. Love these! What sort of latents/team typing would you recommend for smaller-screen phone players? I definitely run into issues with diagonal moves or inadvertently dropping orbs/moving out of bounds. Thanks!

    1. I am not sure how to really answer this question. I feel you would have to get used to the size and practice orb movements that are more crisp and 90 degrees

      Like

  11. Why do people call it an alternative account? Shouldn’t both players in coop have equally strong teams, basically having 2 mains?

    Like

    1. Some players make a second account significantly after their first one and that time gap usually means a weaker REM pool along with potentially less attachment

  12. In A5 how do you kill yog. I had him down to like 10 percent health or less he had no absords or anything. Running fatalis hit him with one L and sky feel an L with 7 combos and his health didn’t move and he killed me

    Like

    1. Yog should be a relatively easy kill with Fatalis despite the fact that he is quite tanky

Above 50% he has 0 mechanics so a burst active with numerous dark orbs should kill

      Like

    1. Unless your question is assuming you are 100% a whale, with everything available, it really depends on your monster box. Zinogre stands out in that he requires a rainbow board for a clause of his LS, making him more vulnerable to orb troll of course.

If you want more detailed help, I would suggest replying to your post with your teams/subs for each lead.

      Like

        1. Those 3 form a pretty solid core foundation for Dark Metatron (has FUA/HP reset/healing potential) and your last sub can be anything that you need for the dungeon at hand

  13. Hi, mantastic, Are there any Good NON-REM monsters that’s worth keeping at the moment? I heard that eir and myne are quite useful for dark teams, although 60 piis to max skilled does sound ridiculous to me tbh.., And what about other attributes, any recommendation that’s worth the investment?

    Like

    1. They are worth 60 pys if you run the teams that use them best:
      – If you run DMeta, a skilled Eir is hard to beat
      – If you run a Kuro loop, HMyne is perfect

The new descends are worse: Qilin, Reiwa… thank RNG I have no shortage of Fujin actives…

Some other farmables that are used are Machine Noah and Goemon, Zeus Dios, and Niddhog but mostly for speed farming

      Like

    2. Orpharion (Light and Dark), Tengu, and Whaledor are other stand out options that I can think of off the top of my head

As for Eir, she is 100% worth investing in if you have Dark Metatron or Fatalis whereas HMyne is best for Kuroyuri loops

      Like

  14. Hey mantastic! a quick question:

After finishing all the “hard” content (aa2, a5, etc), what do you do? I often find myself sitting at full stamina as no new dungeon seems challenging or interesting enough to do, so lately i’ve been trying to farm crowns. Also has this progression become much faster? I started from scratch in January and recently cleared aa2 with some MH equips, not even logging in some days

  15. Hi Mantastic,

I’m sitting on enough dupe GFEs to start making use of the trading post. I have plenty of strong leads, but due to fine motor issues (bad finger dexterity) I struggle with hitting high combo counts even though I’ve been playing for PaD for years. I’m considering trading for Uruka when PaD Academy returns because # of TE awakenings generally make or break my ability to use combo leads like DMeta, Reeche, etc. I already traded for NY Yomi for similar reasons and she finds her way onto most of my teams where she isn’t off-type or completely off-color. With Yomi on the team I can make most leads work, but still struggle with DMeta when I’m not using Yomi’s active. Since Uruka is an odd lead (5 specific orb types on a 7×6), has has only 1 7c, and doesn’t have the best stats, would you recommend that I trade for her or wait for objectively stronger cards? I’m questioning that trade because there seem to be an increasing number of cards with 1.5 sec-2 sec (e.g. Zinogre, Revo Raphael, Awoken Acala, etc.) Do you think a card like her is likely to become dated any time soon?

    Thank you!

    Like

    1. I mostly intend to use Uruka as a sub, but her ability to lead potentially affects her value as a trade.

      Like

    2. I would not trade for Uruka just for the Time Extend reason. You can use regular Yomi or the TE solo badge and Uruka is already dated at this point in time

She will cost 5x 7* GFE/Rare seasonals and despite owning on myself, I seldom find myself using her.

If anything, trade for Beach Fujin who has better awakenings and is cheaper along with three TE

  16. I was lucky enough to roll two Fatalis. Should I make one of them into a weapon assist, or is there value in keeping available as a sub/helper for myself?

    Like

    1. Almost no value as a helper since many people run him as a leader and as a sub I feel it is not needed as you want more active skill diversity (1/2 your team is the double L maker) as you often want hearts or more Darks to make VDP/FUA

  17. Hello Mantastic. Appreciate you doing this for the community. Returning player here looking into getting into highest level content like the arenas past 3. I understand I have 2 very powerful teams but I don’t quite know how to wield them yet.

Question 1: Assuming Beach Fujin is flexible which team is stronger for high level arenas?

Question 2: I don’t know much about latents any more. Especially killers, last time I played most killers were detrimental. Any advice on how I should gear my latents for high end content?

Final question: How do you go about optimizing resists. Assuming I have the following resist equips

    King Bradley, Nargacuga, Rathian.

Would it be worth it to buy two Odysseus? I’ve noticed it’s far easier to find poison resist friends than blind resist.

    Like

    1. Did you manage to acquire the 60% resists from the MH collab as using one +2 Trojans works quite well? You didn’t list the Jammer one

As for team comps, BJ can greatly abuse the Kuroyuri system and using Blue Odin or Beach Fujin as needed is solid

As for Dark Metatron team, assuming solo mode, the cards look solid as a whole and I would lean more towards her as she is able to overcome more hurdles with less problems

As for resists, hit 100% based on the dungeon at hand so if Alt Arena 1 or A4, 100% poison resist is most important whereas A5 wants Jammer+Blind+Cloud

Killers are primarily used to bolster damage against the most durable spawns for the respective dungeon and for popular VDP targets. For example, Dark Metatron often runs Devil as it is a common spawn and her selection is lower

      Like

  18. What are the optimal assists and subs for a Fatalis team running kuro loop? Or is kuro not worth running with Fatalis leads? I’m specifically interested in farming A5.

    Like

    1. I personally prefer using Eir as I gain an extra active slot (gain 2 but lose 1 for Fenrir/Jammer skyfall inherit) but Kuroyuri works well too

With this in mind, I run the Jammer active over someone like Gremory/Nergigante as they have base skills I want to use. Also, orb generating diversity is a big boon for Fatalis as solely relying on his active can lead into issues for VDP/FUA

  19. Hi Mantastic! I’m sure the actual answer to this is “it depends” with an article attached, but just in brief:
Super Reincarnated Haku: Worth it? I have my doubts but I also already have Quiln’s gem and she looks so cool . . .

    Like

    1. For practicality purposes, I would not say she is worth it as she is a massive monster EXP sink for minimal effort

For aesthetics she may be worth it =)

  20. Do you think L-shape playstyle have a chance to become meta? I know it’s combo based and row based and stuff but Fatalis and leads from Shaman King collab (dunno if they can make it to NA) are both fun and quite consistent imo

    Like

    1. In all honesty, anything can become meta including non-combo playstyles. The key is to have ways to overcome their main issues and have high effective hp that is unconditional.

For example, if the +combo LS have better defensive multipliers, row/blob teams stand a better chance

  21. Hi Mantastic – Any functional reason to keep the 3 Boneclad Dragonbound, Hermès? I have all 3 but they’re just collecting dust? I’m not a collector and don’t care for aesthetics.

Also the comment above about useful farmables – I would add the following that are situationally useful:
-Rushana – Healer FUA, low CD base
-Manticore – budget poison for rankings)
    – Myr – though getting powercreeped
    – Zeus/Hera – cheese teams
    – Zeus Verse – cheese/ranking/farming
    – Serket – I’ve used for the resists for ranking dungeons once or twice. I didn’t crown but helped get most of the other rewards
    – Riki – forgot if he is farmable but He’s only worth 100 MP sooo…

Thanks for keeping this site up!

  22. Hey Mantastic and readers,

There is a day left of the Monster Hunter Collab and I really want Amatsu. Here is what I have as trade fodder: Echidna-Sara, Reeche (1 dupe), Dracoblade, Zinogre, Nergigante (2 total), and I haven’t used my Spring Fest Medal.. should I trade and if so, what is worth giving up?

    Thanks!

    Like

    1. I think you will be answered you should keep at least one monster of each. Dupe reeche can be a valuable equipment giving unbindable awakening (hello beach Fujin).
Only one which can be traded is one nergigante but you should keep the others, and if amatsu is a great sub, he doesn’t deserve losing so valuable cards.
      This is my 2 cents

      Like

      1. I would use Amatsu to fill some much needed HP gaps for some of my teams. I see the most use on my Yusuke and Reeche teams. I think all the talk about the massive HP stat has me not thinking clearly.

        Like

        1. Unconsidering HP, you can find in cotton (B/L version) a “budget” amatsu for your teams. You will have a triple 7c FUA sub, with a low cooldown active. As cotton wins the survey, maybe it can help to fill a gap

  23. Hi Mantastic, I’m having a hard time picking either Kami (The one that has 7c) or Eir for my D.Meta team.

Kami has 7c, good situational skill, orb enhanced and more weighed stats
Eir has Heart OE, clear binds, attack boost less than 50% and creates a row of hearts.

I still don’t know who to choose lol. Thanks, and good wishes.

    Like

    1. Who else is on your team?

Generally speaking, Eir is a staple card for dark metatron teams as she offers the best controlled healing

On the other hand, kami is an FUA option that works in coop as it’s not a super awakening

  24. Considering if I already have a Dark Cotton and an Amatsu, what color Cotton should I get for the upcoming Monster Exchange?

    1. Scheat is quite powerful and easy to use

Advantages are fast clears and high damage with low combos + an active that solves FUA

Main drawback is low movement time and low combo count

Firstly, is there an easy way to determine if a card was a REM pull? (I don’t want to delete or sell any of those)

Secondly, I feel there have been a lot of collabs lately and I would appreciate input on what should be kept (i.e. I know Eugeo and Servant, Assassin are keeps) but what about the rest?

Trying to free up some box space. Is it worth keeping: (for those wondering, rank 480 w/box size 575)

Here is condensed cards I’m wondering if any should be kept?

    THANK YOU!

    1. A pretty reliable way is to sort by Monster Points as REM cards are always 3000 or more

From that list, Rushana can make for a reasonable FUA card, Orpharion is a wonderful SB card, Keep your Valkyrie, Machine Goemon, Tengu, Brunhild, and the Green/Red girl on the last page

  26. Hey Mantastic, Who’s your favorite Overwatch character, Also what other games do you find yourself playing nowadays?

    1. I would say a tie between Zarya, DVA, and Rein =)

As for other games, I am currently enjoying Dota 2 Auto Chess, Heroes of the Storm, and the board game Scythe

  27. Im trying to improve my teams for A4-5+ and blind c9-10 clear rate, currently most comfortable with ed, but have dmeta and BJ too noiap but going to get cotton and have mp saved if you think any of those will help fill.

For ed my sub pool is L.ideal, L.ney, 2x Zela, Zinorgre, evoSaline, mito, praleane, reeche, fenrir viz. not sure about going for color coverage, as either means reeche or viz or some non light blue card(dont think aife is worth no sb). zela makes nice boards with ed active but doesnt get the dmg.
Dmeta I think dmeta eir izanagi kami and then nohime/dmeta/tsukuyomi.
not sure about inherits past 60% jammer/poison.

    1. You need to cater your team to the dungeon at hand and if you want to run things blind, bring every resist possible

As for your teams, Ed should have full colour coverage to take advantage of Skill Charge. Also, do you have Odin Dragon? With the Cotton purchase, you can make Blue Cotton.

With that in mind, a solid all around team is Ed, Blue Cotton, Odin Dragon, Zinogre, Lideal/Light Ney. You have FUA, full awoken bind clear, fujin-active, burst, low cd sub to inherit utility

As for Dark Metatron, I like Eir, Izanagi, Kami, and Yomi. Gives you enough time to hit 7c and Yomi has L with SA, time buff active, and 3 turn awoken bind clear

  28. Hey Mantastic, big fan of this site! Quick question, what makes Elena such a good sub for Shirou? Is it pretty much just her unlock active + orb convert? While she seems like a pretty good damage stick, I imagine cotton would be doing more with 3x7c?

    1. I would say it is a combination of the active and Killers (stacks to 27x with SA against dual type spawns)

Another thing I feel is a big issue for Shirou teams is a lack of Light/Fire cards

  29. Why do people who are like rank 900+ beat arenas over and over again? You seem to make arena 5/alt arena 2 content from time to time

    1. The drops are some of the best from Arena 5 (2 killers) so it has merit to replay over and over.

it also gives players a chance to try new teams in challenging content to see if they can still clear it

  30. Not sure if you’re still answering these – but what is the next big event to dump stones in?

I play solo and P3 and I’d say I have a fairly well-developed box. Main lead is Dmeta. I also use B&J/fatalis/ Mega roots Kuro loop if I get lazy. I grabbed a few poison/jammer (no blind) resists from MH, so I feel any extra benefit when rolling in future events to strengthen my teams will be quite marginal.

I’m sitting at about 250 stones and the only things I want at this point are the Bradley assist and planar/Akuma for FUA (I use kami/luci) for my dmeta team.

    Thanks for your help!

    1. It should be the GH Collab Super Godfest which should be coming soon as their new evos are quite powerful

With that being said, GH is slow to release super powercrept cards which means we would be mostly rolling for sidegrades

  31. Hi Mantastic! I love your content and I was wondering if Veroah’s base form leader skill, the 1.3x egg drop rate, increases better eggs from dungeons? Like for example when farming the Pad Academy medals, is there a higher chance of getting silver and gold medals?
