Seasonal Ladies Egg Machine Overview

Introduction

Today marks the debut of a special Seasonal Ladies Egg Machine which features a wide array of cards from different events. One negative aspect of Seasonal events is that each Egg Machine is somewhat set in a vacuum in the sense that these cards are often not featured outside their respective events.

Thus, with the Seasonal Ladies Egg Machine, players are able to roll cards from Christmas, Halloween, and New Year’s all in one place. This is an interesting twist on regular Seasonal events while also preserving the 5-Magic Stone price tag.

While this may seem like a nice idea overall, the truth of the matter is the rolling rates are terribly top heavy along with the majority of strong rolls being at the 9 or 8-star rarity. Furthermore, not all of the strong Seasonal cards are featured here.

As such, this basically creates the same issue of all Seasonal events: top-heavy with pretty filler cards at the bottom.

With this in mind, I am not inclined to roll the Seasonal Ladies Egg Machine as none of these cards have received any form of buffs along with having minimal value at the bottom rarities.

Thoughts

The Seasonal Ladies REM comes as a bit of a surprise but I honestly feel it is a filler machine to carry us over until the next event or due to Corona Virus may be slowing things down overall.

Regardless, this event is essentially combining Christmas, New Year’s, and Halloween all into one Egg Machine but at the same time, missing/excluding some of the stronger cards (eg. Halloween Bastet ).

For the most part, all of the good rolls are all of the 9-stars and two 8-stars. This translates into a 6% total chance to roll something truly valuable. Even with the 5-Magic Stone price tag, these are not good odds and considering the vast majority of other rolls are mediocre overall, it is best to stay far away.

This is partially due to no buffs for any of the cards along with bottom rarity Seasonal cards having questionable value overall. Furthermore, only the 9-star cards contain Weapon Assists which further diminishes the bottom rarity’s value as they will seldom be used as subs.

Conclusion

The Seasonal Ladies Rare Egg Machine is a big trap overall due to the terrible top-heavy nature of the event along with the bottom rarity cards offering minimal use overall.

With this in mind I am inclined to believe that this is simply a filler Egg Machine while we wait for new content to be released. As such, I feel it would be best to save your Magic Stones as the chance of acquiring something truly valuable is 6%.

Let me know what you think about this event in the comments below and whether or not you plan on rolling.

Happy Puzzling!

  1. Good thing I’ve managed to trade 5 monsters for one Great Witch of Fresh Snow, Reeche and got another one from the egg machine during the Christmas event though I did managed to get Old Castle Blue Dragon Caller, Sonia who I might use in the near future.

  2. It’s just about to leave the Japanese server (I play on the Japanese Server) and I rolled once. Just once. And I got NY Reeche, you should have heard me scream- I’m sure a few of my neighbours might have called the police, thinking someone was being murdered.
