Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.

I haven’t followed your question time for a bit ( so I apologize if you have answered this) but I have been meaning to ask you what do you do with your coins? Do you think gung-ho is going to introduce something new that uses coins like the coin dungeon?

I just let my coins simply collect. There is little use for them beyond inheritance and trading and even then, my main account is around 750m without me actively farming for them (alt is at max 999,999,999)

Hi Mantastic, I know that you have access to both Kaname Chidori and Kaiba, as well as Deena, so I wanted to know what you thought about this since (I assume) your in a similar position as me.
Right now, my Deena -Fasca pairing runs Ariel, Elsha, Beach Fujin, and Kaiba, and the total skill boosts come out to 15 with three turns of haste from Elsha to double transform on turn 1. The assists as is are pretty tight, as I still need to achieve 100% blind, tape, cloud, unbindablity on fujin (which I can do fairly easily with NY Reeche Hat), and 2 skill boosts. My question is, do you think that Kaiba + Ariel or Indra + Kaname make a better pair for the team? The Kaiba version provides 1 extra effective skill boost, as well as super jammer + super poison, but the Kaname pair provides a secondary water VDP’er so that Deena doesn’t always need to carry the full load, as well as a Light board change to create light/water boards so that fasca could also reasonably VDP on the same turn.

Is there any reason you are running Deena instead of Lamp as a leader? With Lamp it would further alleviate SB needs, provide Super Poison, and give Auto FUA (https://mantasticpad.com/2020/03/29/lampeid-x-fasca-versus-alt-arena-3/)
I also do not know which dungeon this is for but kaiba x ariel does provide more coverage overall and I feel Deena with a Fasca pairing should have sufficient damage, especially in Arenas where Devil Killer will be more valued. With Chidori boards and no auto FUA, you cannot bypass resolve spawns

I have a similar predicament with my water team building because I lack a Lamp… even it’s a gold rarity, I never managed to snatch one 😦

Who are you using for your mono water team and who are the leader pairings?

Let’s see, for starters my in “meta” water leads are Minaka or Deena. I tried using Minaka x Lamp, and it’s pretty fun, but, I think the damage output is quite low. Deena x Fasca is pretty great, but the luxury of auto FUA is lacking.
My main notable subs are:
-Kabai (I have both forms- which means 10 sb in total with a Sb equip on each)
-Blue eyes (not sure if I should turn this to an equip)
-Deena (of course)
-chidori
-Blue odin (I believe the future evo have over 4 sb)

Hi Mantastic,
I am very new to the game (just about two weeks) and I have scoured Google, Reddit, etc. for a better understanding of how to play the game. I find the game fun but there are a lot of mechanics/concepts that feel sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed. I’ve stumbled across padX but to be honest I don’t really understand how to use it quite yet.
Is there a resource you recommend as a beginners guide? The things I’ve found so far tend to explain concepts which is helpful however a small piece of me would like to be spoon fed “Do normals through X-XX, begin tipping your toes into Specials…”

Do you think the current 8 Stone Super Godfest is worth rolling at least a few times?

I think it is okay and is on par with regular Super Godfests (lower rates but cheaper stone cost)

You got any idea what to do with 4 Jiraiyas? I really want to make a team with them but that’s no SBs unless I evolve them.

Nothing to do with 4 until they release a weapon assist. For now, I would hold on to at least 2 and maybe use two for trade fodder

What are your thoughts on the current leader value of Super Reincarnated cards?
Freyja is a good leader and ranks high on tier lists, but she seems to be the only one so far…

SRevo Indra is a really powerful sub thanks to his super poison resist, so I’d presume that the others with similar (or better) awakens are worth quite a lot, even if their leader skills aren’t that noteworthy.

Horus can be good if someone doesn’t have good subs for Dyer and Astaroth might be good if enough subs come out. Other than that, I’m not too sure.

They are quite expensive to invest in but if they fulfill a niche/gap you do not already have, they are worthwhile
Another nice aspect is they have 3 typings so easier to fit on type-restrictive teams along with solid weighted stats
Recently, indra and susano are strong SB sticks with Super Resists

Veroah LS boosts drop rate while Ra’s active is used to button through a floor.

This set up is usually for content such as Ganesha’s Treasure Trove as you want to increase the chances of a Medal dropping (Veroah LS) and Ra’s active is to deal enough damage to Button the first floor

Are Bankai evolutions worth doing anymore? The only ones I think might be worthwhile are Raphael for the 2 turn void damage and Wukong for the 3 skill boosts.

I really do not think so as SR forms are much spicier and newer
Only niche ones I could think of are not Bankai but keeping their base actives (eg. Ceres for full HP heal) but even then, I feel they are niche overall

With rem cards you get many copies of, but are less than six stars (in the case of godfest exclusives or pantheons), or are the lower rarity ones in a collab, such that you know those cards will never be used in trading, any tips on determining how many you might need before you just start selling them? I know sometimes having multiple is good, but for example I have four or five of Lampeid, which I can’t imagine being necessary, and so it’s just taking up valuable box space.

I tend to keep all of mine as I am not hungering for Box space but I would say 3 is pretty safe in case they receive Weapon Assists or better evos

Hey with 8x EXP TA2 coming up sometime in the near future, I’ve been looking into farming TA2 with Shigeshige from Gintama.
I was wondering if you had any tips on how to work towards this goal? Given thag Shigeshige doesn’t have the highest multiplier and TA2 is a very high HP/defense dungeon.
One team I’ve seen on the matter is
Shige/Zelgadis/Zelgadis/DefenseBreak/Jaraiya/Shige with mostly just killer equips.
Do you have any better ideas for the team? Any input is appreciated.

I do not have much experience running TA2, let alone with Shige so I would not be the best person to ask
But you are right in that damage may or may not be an issue as you wuold probably have to test yourself to see if you have sufficient output

What would do you think are the best teams to take on A6 and in the future, AA4?

If going for speed, 6×5 teams have an advantage due to no Nohime mechanics but at the same time, I have not had any issues stalling her out on A6 with 7×6
I have seen quite a few people have success with Herme x Yugi
In the future, Aten with the new VDP latent becomes quite an efficient approach

Nothing coming soon and I do feel MP is lacking a good place to spend them on. With that being said, mass buying SDR may be helpful when they do go on sale

I currently have a Gintoki and a Shinsuke, but I wasn’t able to pull a Kami. It is worth trading one of them with my spare Kaede, Kami, and Fenrir Viz? Everything I’m reading leads me to say the umbrella is extremely useful and worth the trade.

I feel the umbrella is wonderfully strong but at the same time, I would be hesitant in using non-Dupes as 6* GFE may get surprising buffs (eg Kanna n Aten) you might regret later
If everything is a dupe I would be much more inclined to trade

What is Super Resolve?
There’s no actual page explaining it anywhere, you barely catch a few comments mentioning it when you search for it. (and ‘super’ is the most overused word in PaD)
Bosses have different amounts of it.
How do you get around it, and are FUA and leader skills that used to deal with resolve useless against super resolve?

Its basically a “second life” for them at the respective number
So if they have 50% Super Resolve, you will have them stay at 50% regardless of how much damage you did. Then the next turn you fight them and they are at 50% HP with a new moveset

Apparently Fasca x Yugi is the top paring currently, however I’ve had much more success with Nelle x Yugi (with Bakura sub). I find it so much easier to just make a dark row and a poison match to kill most things, than to have to make a dark row and 8 combos total when using Fasca x Yugi. Throw in having to make a VDP box and spinners, and Nelle x Yugi still seems more consistent than Fasca x Yugi. My guess is that Fasca x Yugi might be stronger overall, as long as you have good skills to consistently hit 8c even with all the other mechanics going on. What are your thoughts?

it is a bit of both and possibly the subs/inherits available. Fasca x Yugi heavily relies on Bakuras with at least one Bakura inherit so it may not be doable for most players and the matching aspect could also be another issue
If you find more success with Nelle x Yugi and can clear the content you want, that is what you should play as you may also have stronger subs available

Are you ever ahead of time with something like collab reviews but upload only right before or after it goes live? Also how long does an average post take to write?

Not too often ahead, I have a master c/p icon list and usually start writing when content is announced as delays could change the value of things etc
In terms of time commitment, I would say 1 minute of you reading = 1 hour of work for me with most collab reviews taking many hours even with me recycling old templates

I saw in NA & JP there’s no guide for crafting meta 2 player coop team especially for endgame content such as AA3 & A6. I distinct this two instances because it gave great drop to farm with huge rank exp. I have 2 rank 945+ account so its really hard to rank up and restore stam. I do have fasca, yugi & alice for transforming team. Can you please give advice on which team i need to use? Thank you…

The biggest hurdle with 2P is a lack of Super Awakenings which will reduce your efficacy or even make certain cards much weaker. With that being said, Transforming cards do not have SA which gives them an edge here along with the Skill Boosts being shared

I just heard that a bunch of the godfest cards are going to get reincarnated evolutions, but many of those cards also have mega awoken evolutions. When should you use the reincarnated evolution (which can’t be de evolved) over mega awoken evolution?

More I was looking for if there was a general trend of how mega awoken evolutions are designed versus reincarnated evolutions, like how super reincarnated evolutions are generally intended to be strictly better than reincarnated evolutions (though perhaps it’s not always the case that they’re so much better they’re actually worth bothering with.) But I have no sense of how mega awoken generally compare with reincarnated evolutions. Up until now I don’t recall cards that had both.
But as to which cards specifically, I have quite a few of the affected cards. Red Odin, blue Odin, Sherias Roots, and Fenrir Viz are a few off the top of my head.

Generally speaking, the newest evolution tends to be the strongest for a card unless a Weapon Assist is available as the newest forms features current awakenings etc.
The names/classifications are kinda outdated but the trend right now seems to be pushing towards Super Reincarnated forms so following that evolution path tends to be the best
