10 Magic Stone Seasonal Godfest – July 17, 2020

Introduction

Today marks the debut of a 6 day Seasonal Super Godfest that features a much lower rolling rate for Pantheon cards compared to regular Super Godfests.

At this point in time, a generic Super Godfest will feature 1/3 GFE and 2/3 Pantheons with stronger events having more favourable rates for GFE. In the case of Seasonal Super Godfests, some of the GFE are replaced with higher rarity Seasonal cards.

If this replacement still yields a similar 1/3 GFE/Seasonal and 2/3 Pantheon, it may be worth rolling in as you can pick up rarer Seasonal cards with a lower chance of trash/useless cards. This is because Seasonal Egg Machines feature abysmal bottom rarity cards and often only have a few truly useful things at the top.

In the case of our current Super Godfest, Pantheons comprise 59.4% of the rolling rates but at the same time, the roster of Seasonal cards may leave something to be desired.

Rolling line up

The most important aspect of Seasonal Super Godfests is the ability to acquire rare Seasonal cards while avoiding the excessive junk/filler cards that plague those events. As such, it is important to determine whether or not the featured cards are worth rolling.

In the case of our current Seasonal Super Godfest, the non Pantheon cards are featured:

9* Seasonal (1.5% each, 4.5% total)
8* Seasonal (2% each, 12% total)
2511
7* Seasonal (2% each, 6% total)
2537
7* GFE (1.5% each, 7.5% total)
6* GFE (1.5% each, 10.5% total)
3370 3414 3416
Pantheon cards (1.32% each, 59.4% total)

To roll or not to roll

If you just look at the chances of rolling a Pantheon card, this looks like an appealing Super Godfest but sadly, the 7* Seasonal cards are awkward overall. While they are rare and difficult to come by, they cannot be used as Trade Fodder. As such, if your goal was Trade Fodder, you would have a 34.6% chance for GFE or 8/9* Seasonal. Furthermore, there are only five 7* cards featured along with many of the 8* Seasonals being mostly Fodder status.

Taking all of this into consideration, I am personally not inclined to roll in this event as it just doesn’t offer myself enough overall as the chances for a 7* GFE or 9* Seasonal is only 12%. With that being said, this is probably going to be the best chance for you to roll either New Year Reeche or Valentine’s Ideal .

Conclusion

The current Seasonal Super Godfest is better compared to a vanilla Super Godfest but at the same time, I do not feel it is not justification enough to roll in.

With that being said, it is possible the featured line up is appealing to your own individual needs and if you do plan on rolling, let me know who you are chasing for along with what you actually rolled.

Happy Puzzling!

  1. Can’t complain. I allowed myself 1 pull and it was NY Reeche. I haven’t done rainbow in years but I might try this one out

  2. Got some good pulls, 3/4 GFE/Seasonal, but wish we could trade for the Seasonal we wants. Would love V Ideal and not have to wait for next Feb.

  3. 3/4 of my rolls were GFE: osiris, baldin, 2x Aljae. Rolling back to back witches was kinda of fun and made up for my poor rolling in the last GFE.

  5. snagged Aljae among a few pulls – lacking kanna, aten, any other rainbow lead from today’s meta. would be nice to work towards one…who am i looking for regarding subs and friends? Is Aljae my damage stick and I just pack in some defensive value alongside skillboosts? New latents lacking, although V is helping me close in on a few A6/AA4 victories…

  6. Got my beloved Ideal on the first draw am I’m considering of making a fire/water team. Any advice cause I like to use her as a sub rather than using her as an assist.

  7. Was chasing V Ideal. Didn’t get her, but overall several good rolls, the last of which was Menoa. So I’m going to make an L Menoa/ V Ideal team.
