10 Magic Stone Super Godfest Aug 31 – Sept 6

Introduction

Another Super Godfest has descended upon North America not even 2 weeks after Remu’s debut that shares the same rolling rates and distribution of Godest Exclusives and Pantheons.

As a whole, Super Godfests have become the norm with at least 1/3 chance to acquire any Godfest Exclusive (6 or 7-star) for the price of 10 Magic Stones per roll. This has become the current baseline in which we measure the potential value of a Super Godfest with better events featuring any combination of higher rolling rates, rarer non-GFE cards such as the Samurai 3 Pantheon, or featuring high rarity Seasonal cards like Valentine’s Ideal .

In the case of this current Super Godfest, it features essentially 1/3 GFE rates along with two Samurai 3 cards which brings the total chance for acquiring any other Pantheon card at 64%.

As such, this is not an exceptional Godfest from a rolling point of view and at least from my own point of view, a weaker roster of Godfest Exclusives as many of the 7-stars featured are Redeemable from an Event Medal or older.

With that being said, the featured line up may be exceptionally valuable for your own individual needs which in turn can give justification to roll. Furthermore, newer accounts can almost always benefit from rolling in a Super Godfest as many of the Pantheon cards can at least function as transitional cards for your current teams.

On a side note, I miss having actual names for Super Godfests.

Remu

Remu has only been in North America for 10 days or so and I am just including the same copy-paste breakdown of her from my previous Godfest article:

Pros
Cons
  • Amazing when paired with Dante
    • 3/390/1.5/43.75%
    • Auto Follow Up
    • +2 combos
    • Leaders have tremendous personal damage
    • Well designed for end game content
    • Can essentially stall anywhere
  • Massive VDP damage
  • Active directly counters Spinners
    • Creates your own for 1 turn
    • Removes all others
    • 5 turn cooldown
  • Have to roll Remu
    • Offset if you own Dante
  • 18 turns to Transform
  • Team building is restrictive
    • Kind of have to own several key cards

Remu is the newest Godfest Exclusive to come to North America and together with Dante , are able to form a tremendous team with 3x HP / 390x ATK / 1.5x RCV / 43.75% Damage Reduction along with Auto Follow Up Attack and +2 Combos when matching 6 or more Fire orbs.

This is a truly spectacular leader skill overall as it brings enough Effective HP to tank all realistic mechanics along with many harder hits that other teams could not survive. This is thanks to the 3x HP and 43.75% Damage Reduction and while the RCV is on the lower end, it is completely solved by Amaterasu who brings 3 Effective Skill Boosts Skill Boost and one of the highest RCV stats in the game to compliment her Enhanced Heart Orbs +heart. This is important because you can in theory stall for a prolong period of time as you can always heal back up to full while still being able to absorb large amounts of damage.

In addition to Amaterasu, Polowne and Duval are both somewhat staple subs as together they bring 10 Effective Skill Boosts, Super Blind Resist , L , a Colour and Damage Absorb, along with a fast charging ATK buff that also spawns a column of Fire orbs. Finally, Base Grandis can round out the team with his own solid personal damage and heavily upgraded kit whenever he Transforms after 30 turns. Furthermore, Grandis can be acquired via the Monster Exchange System if you have not used your Spring Forward Medal.

These four subs bring 15/18 required Skill Boosts to Transform while also addressing many of the more dangerous mechanics in a given dungeon.

While this is promising, missing Amaterasu, Polowne, or Duval may be problematic as they are difficult cards to replicate/replace which will be the main crutch of this team for the average player.

While this may be disheartening, the team is still loaded with potential as your two leaders have wonderfully powerful base actives with Remu being able to completely counter Spinners. Remu’s active is able to generate a single Spinner for a single turn along with bonus movement time which will overwrite any existing Spinner or Time Debuff. This is a first type of active to directly counter Spinners as they will be removed which is incredible when facing numerous Spinners in horrible places for several turns.

As a whole, Remu x Dante teams are incredibly potent and the main hurdle will be building a competent team for tackling difficult content.

Rolling line up

7* GFE (1.5% each, 16.5% total)

6* GFE (1.5% each, 16.5% total)
Blue Sonia 3235 Scheat 3370 3268 2991  **
Samurai 3 (1.5% each, 3% total)
Other Pantheon cards (1.6% each, 64% total)

*Note, Ney comes in one of her 5 Evolved forms but the total chance of rolling any Ney is 1.5%.

To roll or not to roll

Generally speaking, Super Godfests cost 10 Magic Stones and feature at worst, 1/3 chance for any Godfest Exclusive. As such, it is most advantageous to try and line up as many key cards for your Monster Box as possible before shaking the REM’s hand.

In the case of this Super Godfest, it features the same rolling odds as the previous Remu Debut event and if you felt there was value in that event, you may find yourself tempted here as well.

While Remu is featured in both of these events, you need to determine if the featured roster is actually beneficial to yourself as this event has essentially the baseline rolling rates. Of course, being able to acquire Remu at the height of her power is meaningful as it can potentially help you clear more content.

As such, the decision of whether or not to roll will come down to your own individual Monster Box and goals. Building upon that, it is important to determine whether or not you are rolling to advance your position or the concept of Need over Greed.

What I mean by this is determining whether or not rolling here will actually help you clear more content compared to what you can right now. For example, if you are currently stuck on Arena 5, you need to determine what is holding you back: is it a lack of experience and active skill management or is it because you are using a team with many holes in it?

If you are failing due to issues stemming from your own orb matching skills or active skill management, rolling may not actually help, especially if you have a solid team already. On the flip side, if you have hit a metaphorical wall and are currently being held back by the depth of your Monster Box, rolling can be advantageous assuming the featured cards can help you.

If you would like further reading on this Need over Greed topic, feel free to check out my Though Process for Rolling or Monster Exchanging article HERE.

Conclusion

The current Super Godfest features a 64% Pantheon rolling rate along with the inclusion of the new hot leader Remu. As a whole, this Super Godfest is on par with what we can expect from these events and determining whether or not it will be beneficial to roll in will come down to your own individual Monster Box and personal goals.

While the rolling rates are a more objective way of measuring the value of a Super Godfest, the actual roster of featured GFE will be the final determining factor as to whether or not this event will be worthwhile to roll in.

This is because Super Godfests cannot be “bad” as they give a greater than 1/3 chance for something valuable along with the less desired Pantheon cards potentially being a major boon to newer accounts as they can fill out holes on various teams.

With that being said, let me know what you think about this event in the comments below and whether or not you plan on rolling. If you did roll, let me know how it went.

Happy Puzzling!

  1. 20 rolls in so far, all 5* pantheons except Grandis and couple other exchangeable gfe.
just wondering how much do you have to spend “roughly” to guarantee a remu roll?

  2. Rolled a Remu on my second roll but I already have Dante so.. Remu is kinda useless.. what assists go on my Dante team? I have the optimal Dante team. Grandis Amaterasu Duval and poll but not sure about assists

  3. I pulled because I vaguely wanted Remu, and on my last pull I got Nelle. Nelle is the one witch of the transforming witches that I already have, so it feels like the machine is playing a bit of a joke on me.

  4. After a few bad pulls, I landed myself a Remu! Unfortunately, I’m missing a Duval, so my team is far from perfect. Kinda wishing I’d gone a bit harder last time that event was around!
