Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.

What are your thoughts on the new Freyja evo? She ranks pretty high on all Japanese tier lists (highest of all wood monsters) and is like a wood Tifa without the 7×6 board, but I‘m not sure how to team build with her or what leader makes for a good paring…

Would 2.5x hp leader be broken in the current meta? Most bosses’ executions are in the millions anyway

it would be a significant jump in bulk but still has no value against the Gravity + Hit combos.
Lets assume you have 40k HP and dual leaders with 2.5x HP, this equals 6.25x or 250k HP which as you said would not save you.
More HP always helps but I do not think it would break anything yet

I am building teams and it’s my favorite part of the game. I played years ago but lost my account due to getting a new phone and forgetting to write down my code. I started again last week and have been enjoying running to Revo Haku under awoken fastor lead, and just received persephone and a less ideal sub. Saving and trying to find MP to gather dark athenas…also rolled double azame and izanagi, so i’m building teams. Also working on second guardian athena helios now. My primary is my dark team with hakus, and Going to make guardian athena my second team as it seems more reliable and easier and enjoyable to build. azame and izanagi basically as i get fitting toons, I will throw them in.
My questions- any advice to the above and making it more efficient and effective (farmable and godfest subs to look out for that would benefit main team 1 & 2) MP farming if possible, Im almost rank 160 and can clear through most legends on descends (that arent red) and was able to complete february monthly intermediate with ease.

Rank 745 here, best advice for you right now… Save stones for collab egg machines that have a high chance of equips almost every collaboration has a top tier leader so shoot for that as well.
Sword art online collaboration is coming back around save your 101 stones for that, or Monster Hunter collaboration .
Either way don’t roll the normal REM or these 10 stone goddess. Almost all pantheon cards are useless.when compared to collaboration cards
Your dark athena will be obsolete once you roll.a few good collaboration cards

Curious, so that sounds great to me because I love SAO and Kirito fits the colors…he seems like one of two I would enjoy running. But it still raises my confusion if he is better than DA for the team I mentioned? I will work toward other teams of course, but for whatever reason I want this to work for me. lol

Hi mantastic, hope you well and Have smooth recovery. I’m bit confuse with Zaerog core LS work during multihit. It said reduce dmg when hp 80% or less. If the first hit got me below 80% hp, do the second hit will proc LS shield? how about the third hit? Will the shield get proc again? Thanks.

If an LS has an HP based shield then it means that once you are under the hp threshold, then the damage reduction will no longer take effect. So if it is a hit that takes you under 80%, then the other hits will not be affected by the shield. Hope this helps 🙂

Wait, I think it’s the reverse? As in, the first hit was when your HP was above 80%, so it is not affected by the shield, but every subsequent hit that happens when you’re <80% HP should be affected by your shield.
I think what you’re describing pink anon, is an above HP shield like Edward’s LS that reduces damage when above 50% HP. Zaerog works the opposite way bc he is a below HP shield.

If you were above 80% to start, the first hit will deal full damage
If you are now pushed below 80%, any subsequent hit will be reduced by his LS shield
Basically, the shield checks as soon as the attack is coming in and rechecks for each multi hit

I was lucky and rolled three hakus a couple-ish weeks ago and Im new to the game (a break after years). I have obsessively done research, especially through your articles, on viable leads. I keep running across dark athena but the posts are from a few years ago and one of the above comments notes dark athena is obsolete compared to other leads.

I think what is happening is Dark Athena often had Haku subs so search engines are putting that together =)
Right now, the easiest things to build are mono-colour blob leaders, and ideally those who have auto follow up damage (eg. Haohmaru, Ina, Yugi)
Right now, I do not feel haku is strongly desired due to TPA being her main source of damage which does not synergize with most leaders

Are colour blobs actual monsters it like a style of monsters? I have none of those others that you mentioned, Should I scrap and start over? I’m only in the 100s level. Do dungeons get updated stronger? I feel it makes sense in my head to make these haku work than start over. plus i was mad for rolling three until i saw all the love for them from a couple years ago lol.

Blob-leaders are those that activate from 5 or more connected orbs and right now, those with rows tend to be quite strong rn
By scrap and start over, do you mean reroll to get a better box? That depends on how much you have invested along with how good your current box is as there is no super great even right now to reroll into

Yes I mean reroll all together, I do have a couple of those blob toons but no dupes. Im assuming dupes helper/lead is the best route for consistency. I think i will see what happens next weekend then if I dont get anything worthwhile i can reroll and still get the 150 stones from march+starting

There should be a strong Super Godfest soon that will feature some new GFE who are quite powerful so what you could do is back up/save your current game and reroll in the new godfest. If rerolling proves fruitless, just restore your current game

I’m sorry to hear that. I can definitely empathize with your frustration. I have had a sort of similar experience where an accident left me physically limited and experiencing chronic, untreatable pain, so though our situations aren’t exactly the same I understand that it can be difficult to deal with on a number of levels. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to talk to a mental health professional about how I had been doing, and though it didn’t alleviate the physical pain I found that it really did help me sort through a lot of the complicated thoughts and emotions that had arisen from that. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and that there can be a lot of barriers to that kind of health care, but it can be an incredibly helpful experience.

I have been seeing a psychologist for the past several months on a once a month basis and I do not feel it is exceptionally helpful but not hindering at the same time. At the very least, they can function as a sounding board but the main issue is my mental health issues stem from the physical pain / problems they created and psychologist’s are more of a bandaid compared to a cure

Hi Mantastic – I hope you can find some pain relief. Chronic pain is draining. Here’s something PAD related to think about. What do you plan to run for the upcoming A4+A5 challenge? Also, what do you imagine other strong team builds might be? I typically don’t farm arenas – take too long and too much concentration, so I’d like to hear your ideas. (this might be a regular post for you)

I have been posting my AA3 clears with various teams if that is what you mean?
As for A4+A5, I feel any end game team should have no real issues but if I want to have less stress, probably Orphen or Dark Zeta as they are pretty straight forward to play and can counter the various mechanics with proper planning

how have you been feeling about the new faska and Nere? I don’t see what is so great about them other than Faskas neutrality and their abilities. They do seem strong, just not understanding the hype over current popular leads.
