Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.
Happy Puzzling!

Is there any cards that you feel absolutely need the damage absorb latent tamadra, I’m having problems deciding who to give it too?
LikeLike
I would say there is no one who can truly take advantage of it due to how awkward it is
The last ping is the key one so ideally your friend’s leader but then that latent is worthless to them so people probably won’t do it, esp at the cost of either SDR or other Super latents
LikeLike
So probably your own helper lead is the best place for it, if you have a strong team that will see a lot of use, and you aren’t going to ever need that helper for anything else.

Even then, the opportunity cost of not using other Latents is problematic AND the final card has to deal enough dmg with their sub attribute to kill from essentially full health as everyone else will probs heal them…

Similar question re: void void – finally got one, not sure who should get it. Highest-dmg card w/o vdp awakening? Rainbow leader?

She a void active but thanks for the witty suggestion.

Usually highest damage rainbow card that you regularly use
For myself, I have mine on Aten and Raijin as they have immense personal damage and can often execute a spawn on their own

Thanks! Do you run pixel Aten or the normal one?

Void void = what? Sometimes lingo…

Void Damage Void = active like Dyer where you ignore the Void mechanic
VDP Latent bypasses Void for the owning card when you match 5 colours + Hearts

If I have plenty of MP, is the new limited-time Momotaros worth purchasing? If so, what sort of teams can you see them working relatively well with?
LikeLike
I personally say no, atk is too low for the auto fua to do much and the cd is too long for a button.
LikeLike
Perhaps if you are interested in mono Fire farming but his longer CD and less SB may make it harder to work around

With new cards being so strong, like Seina and Tanjiro, do you think we’re approaching stagnation in team building, like during the age of cross meta?
And do you think Gungho will ever do something like matching an “X” shape, either as a lead skill or as a dungeon mechanic?

We are getting to the point where mechanics are starting to possibly get out of hand in the sense that you need so many specific actives to counter what is thrown at you
The more mechanics they pile on, the more restrictive team building becomes as you have less wiggle room

I know you weren’t feeling well when he came
Out but can you give a short version of your thoughts on Santama. He’s my favourite lead right now and just want to hear your opinions
LikeLike
Leader skill aside for a moment, he’s a fantastic sub in my experience. His active clears bind (including awoken) AND unmatchable orb status, which is highly useful in endgame content. The 1 turn of haste on top of that is just gravy, his blind resist is nothing to sneeze at either, and all his super awakenings have possible utility depending on into which team you’re slotting him.
His leader skill gives a different kind of bulk than what we tend to see now, giving high HP multipliers instead of damage reduction. This can be worse in some ways compared to DR, as it can be harder to heal back up without an RCV multiplier and you’re vulnerable to gravities without the use of a shield active. But to counter that DR tends to come with clauses for activation (i.e match one dark and one light combo, be above 80% HP, etc) whereas hp multipliers are static. So DR is “better” as long as you’re able to activate it consistently, but HP multiplier leads can be more reliable if you have a healing solution and know the dungeon well enough to pop a shield active at the right times. Of course Santama can get the best of both worlds by pairing with Ryumei, with whom his leader skill criteria align very well.

Right now I have Santama/Ryumei Leads plus a Santama/Ryumei sub on my team. I just really like them haha

As mentioned above, Santama is a stellar card as a sub, leader, and weapon and their SA grants them flexibility. I don’t feel you would need more than 1 on a given team as a major weakness for Santama x Ryumei is less VDP potential and you don’t want to add to it with a redundant active
With that being said, one major drawback is the single Dragon typing which can exclude them from a wider variety of teams

What types of actives and damage multipliers does one need to clear the new endgame content? I’m a returning player trying to get a grip of everything I need to look out for now.

Depends on dungeon but a leader’s success often hinges on how consistent they are and how easy it is to activate/survive mechanics

Hi, I was wondering if V Ideal can clear dungeons like shuras realm and if there is a certain lead pairing you would use to get the auto fua in. I have a good team set up but don’t have her yet so I’m debating between trading for her or just not getting her at all if we get better leads in the future. By any chance do you know if we will get any new meta breaking leaders soon(NA)?
LikeLike
Her bulk is tremendously high and auto follow up is less needed for things like Shura
Even self pairing is still potent as you retain her huge bulk and multipliers
As for new cards, generally speaking, new stuff will always be released so powercreep will always occur

I just received Menoa today and have no idea which version is considered the best. I also have an alt account with her if that makes a difference. Thank you in advance!

Knowing nothing else, her Light form is a solid Rainbow leader who can pair with so many different cards due to no colour/typing restriction
