Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.

Hi,
Thank you for all the PAD related content you have been putting up on your site and on youtube! They have been immensely helpful!
My question has to do with the weapon assist “ice hammer of the snowy peaks [weapon assist form of ice key heir, Menuit no.6396].
I have it as the assist to garou but for some reason I cannot activate it even though it’s available (the “use” button is greyed out). Any thoughts and/or suggestions as to why that is happening?
I have googled all over but I cannot find anything about it.

You can only use this active skill when there is a damage void or attribute absorb to pierce through; if there is none it will behave as you describe.

“For 2 turns, bypass damage absorb shield and att. absorb shield effects; For 2 turns, bypass void damage shield effects”
I am not sur why it is not working as it has several effects that do not need a specific trigger to occur but maybe it may happen if the opposing spawn has none of those mechanics as the time

I checked and Matt McMasterful is correct in his response. It only turns on when the opposing spawn has either of the mechanics. Since Euchs is from the same series, does Its weapon assist work the same way?

Where is the best place to find out which dungeons drop materials for the 6* GFE equips? Is Alt MD1 the only source for them?

Alt MD1 is the only source. Future update will have all of them available and you can preview the drops prior to entering

Please forgive me if I’m not following your instructions on question type. There’s a very real chance that this is indeed a googlable question, but I’m to dumb to know how to look for the answers 😕
I’m a returning player after taking a couple year break. When I played before, I never was able to develop “end game” skills, and there was an extreme lack of info. Resources seemed to cater to the extreme of player skill – either so basic that it was only helpful in the first couple games, or extremely detailed technical info. I was stuck in the in-between.
Thanks to you & reddit, I developed my very first team I’d consider end-game.
I posted my monster box on r/PuzzlesAndDragons for advice. The time and consideration that total strangers offered to a newbie absolutely floored me.
However, I’m struggling with the most common suggestions, which is a Sea Wolf team. I think it’s probably that I don’t know how to build the enhancements, but it is extremely underwhelming compared to the team i had developed & tweaked. The damage is not even close to my own team.
The Sea Wolf Team was repeatedly cited to be far superior to my Typhon team. I must be missing something, because the expertise is obvious in the help they gave. Is it that my sea wolf is handicapped by not having the ideal subs &/or Stat enhancement? Am I feeling like my Typhon team is superior b/c I just don’t know what real team power actually looks like?

Suggested Team:
Leader: Scarlet Submarine Sea Wolf
I’d love to hear your thoughts on why & how there’s such a huge discrepancy in comparing the actual performance of my team vs the team everyone says should be better.

You need enough skill boosts to transform one Turn one, there’s alot of skill boost weapon assists. I can’t comment on the team as I’m returning from a year ago, but like yugi, this team needs T1 transformation.
