Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.

Do you request users to post their questions here? If so, I can post my Q here: kinda new to wordpress and your Q&A session.
I was sifting through your articles and the PAD database, but can’t seem to notice any article topics regarding around Damage Multipliers/importance from all aspects. On the PAD database, I see that they only still have the basic damage calculator back when Starlight Sanctuary was considered “End Game” content. Therefore, I don’t see any new updates of a damage calculator factoring in new multipliers such as Killers, latent awakenings, higher LS multipliers, etc. Also, I never saw anyone breakdown how the formula works for the damage calculator either. Thus, I’m not sure how the killers/awakenings/latent awakenings are all stacked together [individually like 1.51.5…X, or multiplicable 1.5x] . Can this be a topic that you can cover sometime in the future? or at least shed some insight? Any info would help!

LS/awakening multipliers (inclusive of killers, 7c, TPA, VDP, latent killers) are multiplicative. For example, two leaders with 10x attack clauses paired together gets you 10 x 10 = 100x attack; a card with triple 7c gets you 2 x 2 x 2 = 8x attack. You can check on PADX for the multipliers of specific awakenings.
Generally, I don’t find it too important to understand the exact damage calculation formula but here’s a link:

This is where you ask questions and I have an auto-post for this every month =)
Generally speaking, things are multiplicative but the main issues is loading up on personal damage for your dedicated VDP cards
For example, if a card has triple 7c and VDP, they have 222*2.5 = 20x personal damage when hitting 7 or more combos with a 3×3 Box.
Leader Skills are also multiplicative along with Killers, and Latent Killers

It is Dyer, nothing else. Snow Reeche wasngood and he surpassed her in every way.

I am probably a bad person to ask this as my rainbow capabilities are almost non-existent as I only just recently got Akine and Shelling Ford while never having Dark Kali or any other strong Rainbow enabler
With that being said, I feel Dyer is a big name as he provides auto follow up, Void Damage Void, and big multipliers
He just needs either a +combo friend like valentines ideal or marik or a 7×6 pairing to consistently proc his 10c

Dyer is in an awkward place right now at the moment, as it is extremely difficult to build around him. At the present moment, I would say Valentine’s Ideal is the strongest rainbow leader currently available to NA due to her superior multipliers and the additional combo effect that her leader skill provides.

I play rainbow since this game came out, and my favorite leader (yashamaru) isn’t even a actually rainbow leader, but i play rainbow style anyway! (with any leader I guess 😏).
I don’t like big boards, I prefer the normal one, and with the no Skyfall clause in place, because give me more control and speed to clear things.
Also…I particularly don’t like cards that need to be “transformed” by active skill to access they best version of himself.
Nowadays, I really like the Red Ideal (5892) and I having been able to achieve a lot with her 100% resist and full 3x 7c team that I’m currently using.
I previously used the Blue, Dark & Light Reeche, but today I’m using Snow Reeche just as an Ideal sub.

1) Do you think PAD will ever reach a point where players are consistently hitting damage cap almost every turn?
2) Do you think this SGF is worth rolling?

1) Based on arena/colo style content, I feel that won’t happen for a while as it is sometimes impractical to bring bursts and you should have sufficient damage most of the time without hitting cap
Of course, maybe in the future that may change where we have bigger multipliers
2) if you have none of the orb skin cards, I would say it is worth it because ~45% chance to be happy (GFE or Orb Skin)
I did 11 rolls myself and was happy

What’s your opinion on the current SGF? I have a new-ish box, have about 80 stones, and am not super interested in many of the upcoming collabs (unless maybe we get Disney). With ~55% Pantheon rate, is this the best SGF we’ll likely see for a while?

It is one of the best SGF we will see in a while due to the higher rates as the orb skin cards are valuable
Of course, if you regularly buy those bundles the value goes down.
We need to roll in SGF periodically as the 7* are valuable or trade fodder and it is just a matter of lining up an event that you personally want

Who are you pairing with? I presume Fasca but if you are, I would encourage you to use lamp as a leader with Fasca and Deena as a sub instead

Do you see PAD introducing a subscription/VIP model at any point? Seems like most games are doing that now.

There is a system in JP for some time now so we should be getting it soonish
Generally speaking, subscriptions in gatcha games offer a better premium currency to $ ratio so if you are going to IAP, the subscription is the best deal

We now get the opportunity to trade two rainbow coins for extra slot awakenings, plus trading in certain cards for rainbow coins every so often. What’s your advice on doing these trades?

for myself, I have 70+ Rainbow event medals so I see no desire to kill a pantheon card for one
As for the extra slot, we have been given out quite a few (13 i believe?) along with few truly useful places to use them.
Thus, I have never used either of those trade features but if your situation is different and you have numerous pantheon cards, you could grab another rainbow event medal

Hi Mantastic,
I just watched your Col2 clear with your Nelle x Yugi team. I used similar team, but instead of Hiei, I used Bakura with Bakura assist as main damage dealer.
I just rolled a Fasca and Deena as well, and am wondering if you think Fasca x Lampeid team would be even easier to clear Col2.

The full poison immunity is a big benefit and yugi x nelle has a significantly higher ATK multiplier so they are already at an advantage. Furthermore, Nelle & Yugi have comically high personal damage with VDP and a row along with easier Fujin-style actives
One thing I feel with Lamp x Fasca is that you really need Elsha to solve your transform needs (her + lamp are 10 Effective SB) which is something I lack so I will have a harder time for colo2 as my team will be quite gimped

Can you elaborate on how tackling colour absorb encounter? I’ve been consistently running AA3 with 80%+ success rate with Hbastet x yugi team. The other 20% is i mostly failed to tackle light warchief guardian. It has light colour absorb. Let say i have 7 dark orb which is enough to proc yugi LS and have a bunch of light orb. What board should i make? Since i need to make 7C as well to proc Hbastet LS. Thanks.

I assume it is your Bastet with a Yugi friend so the final ping is light
What you could do is turn 1 clear all the light so its easier next turn or see if just one combo with a VDP works. Yugi does comically high VDP damage and it may be enough (try it in endless and make a mental note of the damage)

In your opinion, what are some good subs for Akine/Dyer teams?

The key is to transform right away so the big thing right away will be sufficient SB. Dyer somewhat solves most of the issues for Rainbow and Akine gives a Super Resist

I have almost all current NA super reincarnated (except RA). They are bench cheerleaders at this point. Are any of them worth putting an unlock tama on at this point? and using in a current meta team (transform/ or 7/6 autofua)

At this point in time, the only cards who I feel truly benefit from the extra tama are those who want Killers.
For example, Arch Angel Lucifer can be a powerful God Killing option and giving him another latent is meaningful. By comparison, someone like diaochan really just runs SDR so another 2 will not help

I have both Valentines Ideal and NY Reeche, I was lucky enough to roll them in the few rolls I did. Which rainbow leader do you think is better?

From just a multipliers POV, Ideal is stronger and has bonus combo count. Knowing nothing else, I would say Ideal would be better

What is the point of Lilia (Dark)? Like first, why is her FUA in her LS so much worse than recent others? Not only does it only do 1 pt of damage, it requires 9 orbs instead of the typical 6? I’m trying to figure out a good team with her as a lead, but don’t understand how to use her effectively.

Idea is when you make a VDP, you no longer have to worry about Resolve. She has solid multipliers all around and comes from a 6-stone machine (is it 6 or 5?) so she will naturally be weaker compared to 10-stone events

Assuming no Locked orbs, yes. Just don’t rely on it to spawn 5 Hearts for FUA

2) Idk what the collab is for(Yusuke Urameshi), but do you think that collab will ever return? It seems like that collab is outdated at this point with all the new flashier collabs.

Who do you think is the best green lead right now? I haven’t really noticed any standouts since Zela Kitty/Green Ranger. Maybe some small differences here and there with some getting autofua like Lilia, but they’ve all stayed the same theme. There doesn’t seem to be any green leader that, at the very least, stands out from the others. Am I missing any or is mono-green just in a worse spot than the other colors?

Right now, the strongest mechanics are Transforming, 7×6, and auto follow up and Wood mostly lacks these things
Dark Lilia is strong but somewhat hindered by a lack of 7×6 pairings outside of Fasca who can pair with basically everyone.

Good general rule of thumb is the new leader would surpass your other available options which would in turn allow you to clear more content. In addition to that, your trade fodder should ideally be dupes and you already have a ready-made and strong team for them

Lastly I’ve tried Pixel Xiang Mei/Pixel Xiang Mei/Pixel Xiang Mei/Pixel Xiang Mei/Pixel Xiang Mei/Pixel Xiang Mei
None of them have produced the results I’ve been looking for. What would you suggest?
