Introduction
The general gist of Question Time posts are for players to ask various PAD-related questions that do not have a simple/Google-able answer or related article on my website. I do play other games and have often found myself having specific/unique questions about it but have no where to go and can imagine this may hold true for some of my readers.
With that being said, there will be some restrictions on the types of questions I will be answering.
If planning on commenting on a regular basis, it is advantageous to create a WordPress account to both receive notifications as well as giving me a point of reference as to who I am responding to.
Do’s and Don’t
For the most part, almost any question will be answered, even some non-invasive Off-Topic ones; however, it is best to ask questions that require explanation/why/my personal opinion. The following examples are Fantastic types of questions to ask:
- Of these options, what is the best Yusuke team I can make for Arena 3?
- What direction do you think GungHo will take with the 4x HP leads?
- Can Heart Cross teams be revived and if so, how?
The following types of questions will not be answered by me either because it has a simple Google-able answer or shows a lack of effort on the reader’s part:
- Anything that Google/Padx can answer
- A link to your entire Monster Box and saying “make me a team”
Conclusion
I hope my readers use this opportunity to ask questions that will hopefully improve their overall game play and progression.
Happy Puzzling!

Is there any point to putting latent tamadras on a weapon assist card? For example, if I put improved recovery on weapon assist, will that show up on the base card?

Latents on Weapons have no effect regardless of which one is fused

If you could play another game like you do PAD (make videos/guides etc..) what game would it be and why?
LikeLike
Don’t think there is any one particular game I could do as PAD is unique due to constant content updates
My main hobby is board games/miniature painting but idk how to make that work as it would constantly be a new board game as they don’t receive updates like a digital game

I have Velkhana and Safi’jiiva. I want to capitalize on their 22x attack and use them to create two teams that can beat WoC1. I have read your previous info on it. Additionally, I have rolled pretty heavy in collabs the past year so I have many of those cards in my box. What are the best monsters for these teams?
LikeLike
Main notable mechanics in WoC1
Awoken binds
Unable to match
1.5B DEF Devils
150% gravity from raphael
Water Absorb f1
Possible Fire absorb f6
Damage absorb f12 with 5 turn delay
Those feel like the main hurdles so you have to counter those. With Safi you really need Kuroyuri loop to heal

Hi Mantastic – hope you are doing well health-wise and thank you for continuing to produce amazing content for us!
Two questions if I may: (1) What is your advice on spending MP for end-game players? Perhaps on SDRs when the MP store goes on discount? (2) Are you ever worried about the long-term prospect of the NA server? Do you ever think about starting JP accounts as “backup” in case NA gets shut down?
Thank you!

On protic ranking dungeon watched you tube video from our current ranking dungeon several of them when they get to the boss with 6 comdo shield they pop Vipers skill delay and the shield goes away and they kill with one combo. Just wondering what I’m missing because I don’t work for me.

You still have to match something to count it down – can’t just flip an orb.

I get that but they are not doing anything but Viper skill and 6 combo shield vanishes.

They zero combo 3 times so fast that you are not seeing it. I.e., swapping two orbs.

Can you make a post about the best 5 star cards to build/keep/use for special condition dungeons that only allows the use of 5 star cards?

Hi Mantastic,
How his life in general?
1- With the appearance of poison and jammer blessing awoken skill do you think it would have value if gung-ho started introducing coloured orb blessing because of the new takoyaki awoken skill?
2- If gung-ho would come up with a card that could provide a 3-4 colours board + heal rule as a leader skill, like some dungeons have. Do you think it would good, bad or just plain ugly?
Thank for all the great written and video content.
Cheers

You mean latents that bolster the damage of the team like the takoyaki awakening?
You mean forcing certain colours to never appear? Eg, only R/B/G/L/H appear and no Darks? Sounds like an interesting twist but I feel the combos would get crazy on 7×6

I meant just a regular awoken skill more like Bakura in yugioh collab who has 3 poisons blessing. A colored orb blessing would increase skyfall of a certain colour, but I would not necessarily need the extra attack boost like poison blessing, just the skyfall to help activate the takoyaki and not having to rely on a system to get the required orbs.

That would be an interesting mechanics but I feel there would be a cap of some kind to prevent excessively high skillfall chance
Either way, I like that idea

Any advice on which witch to exchange for in the upcoming event? I don’t have Fasca, Norza, Saline, or Aljae. Thanks.

You mentioned picking up blodin in one of your previous posts about choosing your weekly 6 star GFEs. But the form you listed was the reincarnated form, not the mega awoken form. In your opinion, if you only had one blodin, is this the better form to make?
If it’s relevant, my main blue leaders are Hitagi/Suruga and Babaju.

Reincarnated BlOdin is actually a great sub and covers a more unique niche than Mega BlOdin, who is more of a generic VDP sub. Revo BlOdin is actually one of the best subs for water row teams in the game and was extremely popular for row-based Norza teams. Basically, what you’re looking at is:
SRevo BlOdin: 4 sb (great for transforming subs if your water teams includes Norza, Blades, etc.), a lot of utility (tape resits from SA and Blind res+), and 4 water rows for boosting team damage. Note: he has no personal offensive awakenings (e.g. 7c), so giving him VDP SA is not especially helpful.
Mega BlOdin: 3 sb (not as good), 2 team hp (can be useful if you’re trying to meet an hp threshold to tank a big hit), and 2 vdps. You could give him a 3rd vdp to make him a solid VDP card or a 7c to hit a little bit harder when you’re not VDPing (7c is 2x, while vdp is 2.5x). His active is nice for setting up a VDP
-If you’re not struggling with VDP damage, Mega Blodin has less to offer
-If you’re looking for more utility or are running a row team, Revo is clearly the better decision
-Which Hitagi and Suruga you’re using may affect your decision. If you’re using base Hitagi and Suruga (4 water orbs), you can build a very strong water row team where Revo BlOdin would be an amazing sub. If you’re running their UEVOs, you need two water combos to activate your leader skill and more water combos means more damage from enhanced water combo awakenings. Here a row would come at the expense of two matches of 3 water orbs and you would need at least 9 water orbs for a row (6 for a row and 3 more to fully activate their leader skill)
Your best bet is to look at your water box and the dungeons you’re tackling and to figure out which version of BlOdin (if any) can contribute to your existing teams. Good luck!

One more thing: There will be a future update that will add an item to the mp shop that devolves Revos. So if you choose Revo Blodin, you will not be locked in forever 🙂

R. Blodin provides 4 SB, Rows, Blind, and Tape along with a low CD active. Aids transforming and grants easier access to a key inherit.
I used him quite often during the earlier GH Yomi x Norza days to add in damage but if you are not pursuing Rows as much, will have less value. Also, be mindful of no SBR if you run cards like Lamp too

Hi, I’m still getting back to the game and trying to figure out the best leaders to build around. I know Mikage, Seina, and Nadeko are three of the top leaders, but I only have Nadeko right now. Are there any other leaders that I can build off of?

I’m struggling to pass shura realm 1 as I have never really figured out the pattern to match orbs in order to have zero orbs left over (Floor 2). Do you have any resources that show you how to do this? I always think I have done it, and then there is always that one orb leftover that screws me.
Thanks

Can you explain the enhanced fire, wood, etc combos? Specifically what are their attack multipliers, are they added or multiplied when you have multiple on your team, and do they work specifically for the one card that has the awoken or do they enhance the entire team? I can’t find much info beyond enhanced combos = good. Thanks for all you do! Wishing you better health!!!

Well they are good for sure =P
They add +15% per awakenings for each subsequent combo of the matching colour
So basically huge damage with multiple matches and if you have stacked this awakening
