Introduction
Mion Descended features the Wood Snow Globe Challenge and grants players the opportunity to acquire up to 5 for clearing both difficulties. There is now a separate dungeon just for the Snow Globe Challenge and clearing it awards an additional stone. Furthermore, the background music is truly enchanting and should be reason enough to play the dungeon.
I used Awoken Kushinadahime for Mythic and Reincarnated Lakshmi
in Legend Plus (the higher difficulty). You are able to complete the challenges in solo or coop mode, but I was unaware of this at the time and simply entered solo.
Clearing Mythic awards 2 Snow Globes while Legend Plus grants 3 for a grand total of 5. You cannot use continues.
Background music
If you wish to relive the magic of Mion Descended without wasting stamina, you can simply listen to the following video:
Awoken Kushinadahime – Mythic Solo
I still need to practice true combo leaders and planning out my matches. It is also nice to know the boss has a hidden resolve mechanic.
—
I was using Ace Bastet because she is already developed, has dual time extends, and already has a board change inherited.
Reincarnated Lakshmi – Legend Plus Solo
Reincarnated Lakshmi is a fun and exciting 100x leader who is capable of easily stalling due to her 4x RCV. She is also able to deal incredible burst damage and I should have been more liberal with my actives throughout the dungeon.
—
The Snow Globe has Skuld inherited (I should have done that for my Kushinadahime run) and it was more so for safety and did not end up using it. My Lakshmi has Hatsume inherited to combo with Ryune.
Conclusion
Mion Descended – Snow Globe Challenge is a fun and exciting way for players to acquire 5 more Snow Globes. A wide variety of teams are capable of clearing this challenge and the background music is one of the best to date.
Who did you use to successfully clear the challenges?
Happy Puzzling!
Cleared both difficulties. I’m glad we get the snowglobes as soon as we clear the dungeon. I already had 3 Green Snowglobes, so I had more than enough to feed RePavarti.

I always put the R in the wrong place.

GH is always improving the quality of life and I sometimes worried I wasn’t receiving my rewards in the past XD
Where do you plan to use your Parvati?

So far I have: R.Parvati/Persus/A.Freyja/Vishnu/
Hopefully I will get Sylvie or Verdandi in the future. I’ve been practicing with Vishnu, Awoken Kushinadahime, and Parvati trying to get consistent results.

I’d say Parvati is the most consistent leader of the 3 as the damage is more readily available compared to the other two. She is also less orb hungry than Vishnu and can use TPA/Skyfalls unlike Kushi

Just myr-it.
Loved the music too.
Easy dun to get some globes and two Stones for the upcoming pcgf.
I really loved your run so i’m gonna try kushi in the normal version of the dun to see the results.

Hopefully Kushi proved successful!

I expected the boss to be much worse but she gives you a lot of free turns, even if you hit her in a critical zone.
Hermes felt like the real boss here and was probably the hardest part of the dungeon, thank god he doesn’t heal when you hit his resolve, so you can use a strong shield like Kushi and then kill him with the snow globe active.

Even if you hit Hermes into his resolve, some teams can simply survive the execution. I still enjoyed the snowglobe challenge =)

Quite boring clears with Krishna. Verdandi Skill was inherited to the Snow Globe, so I had a double 2/3 combros: Urd+CaoCao – Verdandi + Takeru.
I agree that Hermes was like the real boss. I stalled without any problem with Mion and I am missing lots of RCV +.

Tank teams have a nice advantage in this challenge as you are able to easily stall out Mion’s 5 turns of 500k+ void
Congrats on your 5 snowglobes!

I also ran Revo Lakshmi for this. Feels good to play an old favorite again. Main difference with our runs was that, rather than stalling, I used turn one to set up the board for easy combos turn two then just blew her up turn three.

That is a good strategy! I mostly went in semi-blind and at least I got to show how amazing her RCV is XD

i used sarasvati but man dat hermes orz Mion was really easier than hermes especially when u only whish for water skyfall but only get 6 water orbs out of the 9 u need and the stalling for the resolve so many stamina used on that day q.q

I guess you could technically one shot the Hermes and simply survive the giant hit and orb change the poison away. Hope you managed to clear it in the end!

i cleared both good just it was tricky to get hermes on 50% on the first round so i could stall a bit xD for mion i just needed to stal the first round and kill it on the second round witrh A.Karin board and I&I buff and hopping i could quick match the 3 water combos and try to do enough combo to get over dat combo shield

I used Awoken Kush (Kaede/Vishnu/A. Astaroth/Snow Globe) on Mythical and Revo Parv (same subs) for Legend+. More or less used the same strats as playing Revo Lak.

Parvati is pretty strong with the right sub support. The dual TPA means you can mow down content with relatively few orbs. I should invest in mine soon XD

Ronove (plus Kaede, Red Kali, Sumire, and the Snow Globe) made quick work of it when I finally made it to the boss.
Worst part for me was the Tama…if I forgot to target on the initial hit, my combos were wasted on the other two while barely leaving it alive.

6 combos can be cumbersome for heart cross leaders, but thankfully, Ronove does not make rows so it is slightly easier =)
