Introduction
I have essentially finished redoing all of my icons to include mouse over text to better help you reference each card without having to actually click them to open PADx. If any icon is incorrectly labelled, please let me know and I will make the changes accordingly.

It is my hope that this list will become a quick reference source for players who are newer to the game as they can quickly see where their new cards rank/place. Part of my desire to do this is from my starting journey in Fire Emblem Heroes and constantly referencing their respective tier list.
These opinions are my own and take into consideration the card’s value as a leader, sub, inherit, and possibly any niche role they fulfill. In order to rank in the highest tier, the card has to excel in their respective role and cannot feasibly be replaced by anyone else. This can also be thought of as a Best in Slot card and tends to have applications on the top tier teams. If a card has a split evolution path, I simply evaluate the best option possible.
If you are thinking about purchasing a Monster Point card to compliment your Monster Box, please refer to my tier list and review HERE.

Legend guide
Symbols condense the time spent processing information and here is a brief explanation for each one I will use:
The best of the best. These cards compromise a best in slot role on top tier teams. They are largely irreplaceable and tend to offer something unique that cannot be easily replicated. This mostly exists to showcase the jump in power between the rest of the cards available.
All of the cards in this tier bring tremendous value to a variety of teams as either leaders, subs, or inherits that are challenging to mimic elsewhere. For example, Green Odin remains one of the strongest bind clears and only card that can remove 5 turns of awoken skill binds (outside of Odin Dragon
). It may not be paramount to your success, but is well worth owning overall.
This category indicates cards that have value, but are not as widely used/irreplaceable as the above tier(s). While they may make your life easier and still bring an additional layer of power to your team, they are far from necessary. With that being said, some of these cards could hold the key to your own teams as everyone has different tools to work with.
Cards in the question mark category tend to be those that are a luxury and are often not widely used for the average player. With that being said, they may bring niche value to your monster box or provide an additional option to use. A great example of this is Red Odin who is a premiere button farming option, but with the addition of Red Tamazo
, players at least have a “farmable” poison inherit along with the future implementation of Descend inherits.
This category indicates the bottom of the Puzzle and Dragons barrel. These cards tend to have almost minimal value as they simply do not fit in the current meta and are badly in need of a buff or new evolution to give them viability. With that being said, you should still keep them as they technically have the most potential for improvement (think Light Metatron )
This arrow indicates if a card has moved up since the last posting/tier list. The category/bracket they are placed in will be their new home and each arrow will show how many brackets they moved up (eg. 2 will indicate they climbed up two rankings).
This takes into consideration the gold star, blue square, and purple orb symbols.
This arrow indicates if a card has moved down since the last posting/tier list. The category they are placed in will be their new home and each arrow will show how many brackets they moved down (eg. 2 will indicate they were demoted down by two rankings).
This takes into consideration the gold star, blue square, and purple orb symbols.
A gold star indicates that these cards are relatively stronger than the other cards in that respective tier bracket and are trying to move up and may do so if a minor buff or new card/evo is released that can full capitalize on their strengths.
The blue square indicates that the card is in the middle of their respective tier bracket. This does not exist for
tier
A purple orb indicates that this card is relatively weaker than the others in their respective tier bracket and are on the cusp of being demoted.
Pantheon Rankings
If there is a split evolution, I simply choose and evaluate the better one. Due to the fact that I have only 5 tiers, there will naturally be differences in an individual tier, but the gold star , blue square
, and purple orb
help provide some additional ranking within each tier. Otherwise, cards simply appear in the order I find them in my master Copy/Paste icon list. Generally speaking, cards that have Reincarnated evolutions tend to be ranked higher due to the triple typing and 1,000 weighted stats.
Some icons may show an older evolution as the cards being just announced in JP may or may not have a respective page on Padx.
To repeat, the cards within each ranking appear in the order I find them in my C/P master list and do not mean one is vastly superior to the other within the same bracket.
If you wish to read the previous tier list, please refer to this post HERE as it will be discussing the notable movements at that point in time.
The following table shows the movement of cards between this and last posting/Godfest review. It still displays the same information as the table at the top of this article.

Comments & notable cards
Just because your favourite card does not rank as high as you may hope it does, this should not be cause for alarm as they may still bring your own individual monster box tremendous value and may be crucial to your own success.
For this posting, there was not too much movement at the top as those were relatively well placed; however, the bottom half saw some reshuffling due to the fact that I undervalued many of the cards and hopefully the shift helps better place them.
The Valkyries
The Valkyries all received a massive buff to their awakenings as they now boast the highly desired 7 combo and Guard Break
awakenings. 7 Combo awakening enables that card to deal 2x damage when you achieve 7 or more combos. Thus, it acts like a controllable Killer awakening.
On the other hand, Guard Break will enable you to complete void an enemy’s defense when matching all 5 colours (and having a rainbow team) in a future buff. This means you can trivialize encounters such as PreDRAs which directly translates into an active skill slot saved for other utility.
Taking all of this into consideration elevates all of the Valkyries as they now bring additional damage and unique utility to your favourite teams.
Reine, Blue Valkyrie
Reincarnated Kushinadahime is a premier leader and her ideal for Arena 3 consists of 3 Reincarnated Hakus
and Reine. While all of the Valkyries possess the required Healer typing, only Reine and Femme
have the required light sub attribute to enable rainbow activation. However, Femme is less desirable due to the absorption mechanics of Vishnu and Parvati and run the risk of healing them instead of dealing damage.
Thus, Reine is the ideal choice for Reincarnated Kushinadahime, but this only applies to Arena 3 farming where PreDRAs are a fixed spawn. For essentially any other dungeon, you will not actually need Guard Break and if you are playing through different content, Reine will most likely be replaced for someone else.
GFE Rankings
As of now, I do not feel the need to include the gold star , blue square
, and purple orb
mini tiers in the GFE list as it is already quite small by comparison. Cards appear in no particular order and simply reflect their appearance in my master icon list.

Notable changes
Fenrir
I do not feel that Puzzles and Jammers will ever catch on, but you cannot deny that Fenrir (and Fenrir Viz
) both received buffs that improve their ease of activation and consistency.
Outside of the non-intuitive playstyle, the Jammer Meta is challenging to support as GungHo appears to be loathe to create more viable subs for them due to the fact that jammer producing actives cannot be used on any other team. As such, the pool you can draw from is limited, but with the update to Skill Inheritance including many farmable cards, there is some hope.
Through Skill Inheritance, you can run more ideal cards as bases and can worry a little less about having a constant supply of jammers.
With all that being said, GungHo does appear to be teasing more Jammer-relevant cards so maybe they will push higher by the next Godfest
Tsubaki
Tsubaki is slowly becoming more vital to own for clearing content quickly and more mindlessly. While they may not have as much applications on traditional teams, the fact that they possess dual Dragon Killer
awakenings means they do 9x damage to Dragon type bosses which is probably 1/3-1/2 of the game.
While some may argue that this may seem luxurious, it is irreplaceable and will have amazing applications for the upcoming 0 stamina Normal dungeons. Often times, farming teams are built around their prowess and having two Skill Boosts and a reasonably short base cooldown helps facilitate easier inheritance.
Satsuki
While Satsuki did not move up a tier, their new evolution does improve their value. Sporting 4 TPA
enables her to spike to much higher values and can be used on a wide variety of dark teams. While the Devil Killer
can be problematic in an Arena setting due to Parvati (excessive stalling), it can have value when playing through more predictable content.
Conclusion
There are countless cards available in Puzzle and Dragons and it can be challenging to rank each of them against one another. As such, this list will fluctuate and change as new cards are released or buffs are announced.
Let me know what you think about this tier list and who you think should be higher or lower.
Happy Puzzling!

Being unbindable now, they should probably be promoted from (not on the list) to footnotes!
Well, actually, I kind of like them now – they got buffed pretty well, and now change poison orbs (i believe) into hearts along with two other colors.

Hey Mantastic, thanks for the list! Thanks also for the note about creature quest – definately trying that out!
Quick question, can you go into a little detail about the ranking decision of Sun Wukong? I like that he is so high, but (I have two of him) I wonder why he attained that ranking and what he is notable for. Thanks!

Glad you enjoy it chippy and let me know if you like Creature Quest =)
As for Wukong, his split evo gave him unbindability and a stronger active skill. As such, you can use him to fulfil lmore roles but another important aspect is the introduction of new JP cards (which we will get) that produce Light, Water, and Heart boards. This finally grants him board combo synergy as that was one of this worst aspects

Gotcha, I had forgotten he has a new JP ult waiting in the wings. Thanks! Also cool to see how much you pay attention to all new incoming cards and know that his synergy will get better.
I like Creature Quest so far – still trying to learn to put a team together, but I started 2 days ago and am in a guild, rank 16, 2500 (give and take) prestige, and am having a blast.

It also helps that I talk with a lot of PAD players and am pretty GH about it =P I also remember writing about WK’s board change problems and it just clicked
As for Creature Quest, I am glad you enjoy it =D It is my current obsession and I actually made a Mantastic guild filled with PAD players. You should join! Just search for Mantastic under invite only (you can also join my discord as we have a channel for it too)

One of the things that surprised me about this list is that you rate the dragon knights above the fairy tale group. For me personally, I have used the earth dragon knight to make Ruel a heartbreaker via assist, but I have kept Thumbelina due to her superior awakenings. As always thank you for your work.

It’s more for the heart break and bind clear which transforms any bind immune card into something quite valuable. It also allows you to have something offersive later on

That makes a lot of sense.
