Introduction
The You Yu Tournament is another Ranking Dungeon where players will be able to use a fixed team in pursuit of obtaining a Crown (3%) and You Yu 
prize (20%).
The notion of using a fixed team is always exciting as it puts players on an even footing as there is not Monster Box advantage. With that being said, fixed teams can also be frustrating as skyfalls can play a major role along with potentially utilizing an unfamiliar play style. In the case of the You Yu Tournament, the only foreign matching pattern is the 3×3 Heart Box matched on the final floor to trigger FUA2 
. Unfortunately, the dungeon is riddled with RNG/luck hurdles and can be quite frustrating to play.
This article will outline strategies for achieving a high score along with tips and tricks for the dungeon at hand.

Score breakdown
In Ranking Dungeons, players are scored based on the following:
- Each Combo is worth 5,000 points
- Each second remaining is worth 500 points
- Hitting 40 Million damage is 10,000 points
- Each active used to kill a floor (no combo made) is -5,000 points
Due to the nature of the fixed team, the penalty of using an active skill is not applicable.
In regards to Combo count, each combo made on a floor is worth (5,000/6) 833 points which means it is worth pursuing on every given floor along with Skyfalls being beneficial.
Xiang Mei Leader Skill
Xiang Mei 
was once heralded as a premier leader but quickly fell from grace once more efficient cards were released. Her main drawback is her orb hungry nature that prevents activation in harder content and forces her to be more reliant on Active Skills.
Thankfully, she is well suited for this Ranking Dungeon as she has all the tools needed to sweep each floor in a single turn.
Xiang Mei’s multiplier has two components and gains significant momentum when achieving two Heart combos:
- 9x 0-1 Heart combos
- 144x 2 or more Heart combos
This scaling multiplier is important because one does not require two Heart Combos for some floors as Killer awakenings add additional damage.
Due to the fact that the buff to Healers always occurs, one will only see 16x ATK when matching 2 sets of Hearts but the actual multiplier is 144x.
Team & relevant awakenings
Out Xiang Mei team has numerous Fire Row 
awakenings which means forming 6 connected Fire orbs can be an efficient means to increasing damage output. Of course this comes at the price of one Combo, but a Row can be instantly formed via Laila 
actives.

Light to Fire, Dark to Heal Combos with Gadius

Due to the fact that Laila has a 5 turn cooldown, one of them can be used twice in the dungeon.
Floor by floor strategy
Puzzling speed and favourable boards will always be required for any Ranking Dungeon, but going in with a soft template can help reduce stress and improve your total score. The following is not meant to be an absolute requirement for each run, but will be of help for most runs.

I have shown duplicates of the relevant awakening to better show how effective our team is against each spawn (eg. means two cards have Dragon Killers).
All Water spawns have two times the effective HP due to the fact that they take 50% less damage from Fire.
The Notes assume each board is max combo-ed.
Xiang Mei’s Haste can enable both Lailas to be used twice in the dungeon but only use Xiang Mei if actually needed.

The following chart is by no means a perfect prediction of the NA cutoff and should only be used as a point of reference; however, NA tends to score lower when it comes to fixed teams.

Conclusion
The You Yu Ranking Tournament is an exciting event as it gives players the chance to acquire a 300,000 MP card for free along with the shot at a 3% Crown.
The fixed team aspect can be a blessing or burden depending on your Monster Box and play style, but the dungeon is riddled with horrible RNG hurdles that must be overcome.

Just to be sure it was you and not a wanna be. You played with Umisachi and Yamasachi leads.
I have Gammoth assists on both Reeche, Julie assist on Legiana, Blue Sherias assist on Yuruka, Nene assist on Jhoira, and Mercuria assist on Amatsu. Almost 50K health. I have rolled an INCREDIBLE amount in this game and have pretty much every monster. Rank almost 900. I can put up whichever lead you need . I am looking for a good playing friend that I know plays as much as I do. Even though, I know you did not pull a Reeche and she is now my main.

So, did I make the stream? Lol. Then, have Pancake add me, if she mains Reeche, that is. I saw the stream on the super godfest rolls and I saw she rolled her. I play all the time, and with Gammoth assist, I have more HP than any other friend option. Just saying….

Skyfalls were nonexistent on my first run to that point that I had to double check that it wasn’t another ‘No Skyfall’ dungeon, so that’s great.

Having run the dungeon a few times and watched an unobtainable score or two, are you sure about using gadius/uriel on floor 5? I get it to deal with the darkness, but even with a good combo coutn on floor 4 I am not one shotting it and the high score run used the skill combo on floor 4.

I have reworked my Notes section to address the issue of Wood absorb
In an ideal world, you can Gadius+Uriel on Yomi but I have often found myself using the pair on the Wood absorb floor due to too many Wood orbs

For some reason, I never get past a 16x multiplier when I have 2 heart combos…Since all the cards are healers I would have expected that the 3x multiplier is also in there so we get the 144x ?
So some of the levels take quite a bit more to get through…
Anyone else noticing that?

This dungeon..it’s heavily luck reliant. So far I managed a 54% and that’s with being screwed over on floor 2, 3, and 6. I also feel like floor 1 can either make or break your run seeing as a single row and a 6 combo doesn’t kill him..unless i’m just unlucky? Lol.

A row with 6 combos may kill Hanzo but in an ideal world, one would have 7c boards at least

After running this dungeon a couple times, I always get screwed over on skyfalls and am averaging ~8 combos, I’m at 15% currently. Sucks how luck oriented this challenge is.

I’m baffled what you are doing on yomi, when it can be solved no skills with a reasonably high combo solve. Get a look at the board before it darkens and make a 9 combo like a non-peasant veteran. Other than that, excellent guide. If you are going to pop actives endfloor, it might be worth considering gadius + XM for a board that is a natural 7 combo solve, a bit of ratio luck permitting (technically 8 if ratios are weirdly perfect, but more realistically 7), instead of the three to four combo and pray shenanigans people do. The plus three combos and better skyfall odds might be worth the XM active animation time. Not sure, just have been considering it as a thing.

Yeah, I decided to just use XM when I needed to and am up to around 8%… I feel like crowning this dungeon is tantamount to pulling a slot machine because of the luck needed for the boards.

For the last floor, using Gadius means you sacrifice the easy gadius x uriel solve along with spending significantly more time matching.
Using the 12 orbs from YY can be quickly solved and the row at the bottom is premade so the time saved is another big deal

I just do this so the You Yu I bought before this tournament only cost me 200K MP. Can’t wait for Xiang Mei to complete my collection (I’ve wasted a lot of MP and played a long time)

So much rng. I think I only bothered finishing 2 out of 40 runs today because of orb troll.
And even then only 26%, with a 7c average! Oh well.

Got up to 10% with a score in the 134k range so that’s good enough to never run this dungeon again. Good lord it was frustrating.

Share some experience about killing each floor.
Floor 1
Floor 2
Floor 3
Floor 4
Floor 5
Read the board before you enter, remember about 3 combs route in your head. 1 row of fire(5c) or 2~3 combs of fire(7c) or 2 heart combs with a fire combs will be enough. However I recommend to save Gadius and Uriel’s skills for this floor because you can tell the difference between fire orbs and heart orbs even it is a dark borad.
Floor 6
Make a 9×9 heart orb + another comb of heart orb + use Laila for a row of fire + 4 combs in total = kill the boss

Time first, Try to comb as fast as you can. Don’t use up all 7 seconds which you have to comb. Then you need to learn what’s the minium requirement to kill each floor and just comb enough to meet it. After your finish time climbs up to around 180 seconds you can begin to think of adding combs.

If you can make an additional combo within 1 second, it is worthwhile as each combo matched is 833 points along with more combos giving a higher chance at skyfalls

Manage to clear each floor on one go according to the guide but have trouble hitting the 40 mil damage and getting the full 10,000 points. What am I doing wrong? =/

You need to fully activate on F1 or yomi as the killers will push you up

Farewell, Youyu farewell. i won’t be getting you, I have a better Yu, and he is from Yuyu Hakushou.
I will just leave you to those players who are super awesome and quick at board solving and super lucky to not get green skyfall at U&Y and then lots of skyfalls at other stages. while I drop out of 20% cause of all the crown chasers cause they are that good and there are that many and they will keep going for crowns.
