September 30 – October 1 Godfest Review Plus New Ameno & Kami Evolutions

Godfest Basics

The format for Godfests has been dramatically changed through their REM Renewal along with Full Disclosure of Rolling Rates. These changes dramatically improve your chances of rolling a specific card as the pool of available monsters is significantly smaller as only a portion of the all possible monsters are featured at a given time. This is great news for players as you are better able to focus your Magic Stones on key cards.

Godfests no longer advertise “rate increases” and instead Highlighted specific cards along with 6/7* Godfest Exclusives being available. As such, these events are the best time to roll the REM as the current meta is heavily favouring these rare and elusive monsters.

Rolling rates may change or vary with each Godfest event and some 6/7* GFE may have higher rolling rates. Always check the rolling rates before proceeding.

Introduction

Saturday  marks the return of our bi-monthly Godfests and features what essentially amounts to an average roster. This is because there are only 17 GFE featured with what is presumed to be average rolling rates. Furthermore, North America has several meaningful events coming in the near future such as Beach (on Monday), a 7-themed Super Godfest, and the renewed DBDC Collab. As such, it may be best to skip this event all together in anticipation for the more lucrative events.

Regardless, this article will provide an overview of the featured cards along with a reposting of my Saline  review from last time.

As a whole, this Godfest is average but comes right before potentially 3 exciting events: Beach REM, 7’s Super Godfest, and DBDC. Thus, it may be best to save Magic Stones for these events.

My review of the Beach REM is coming soon.

Godfest overview

Unlike Godfests of the past, only some 6/7* GFE will be featured. If they are listed as unavailable, you will be unable to roll them during the event.

6/7* GFE not available

You ideally wish to line up a Godfest that overlaps with several key targets to improve your overall chances of success. Thus, it may be advantageous to wait for a more opportune Godfest if the current one does not feature enough key targets.

Based on the revealed rolling rates of previous Godfests, 6* GFE will have 0.6% hit rate whereas the 7* had 0.5%. With that being said, some GFE may feature an increased rate and you simply have to check the displayed rolling rates each time.

Looking at the past few Godfests, it appears that the trend is now to include two 7* and fifteen 6* GFE which is significantly lower compared to before. We used to have twenty 6* and one 7* which makes the overall rolling rates for hitting any 6/7* GFE lower.

Fenrir Viz  has not been featured for 3 Godfests in a row while Madoo , Dark Metatron , Kaede , and Kanna 3233 have been absent for a second time. Continue reading September 30 – October 1 Godfest Review Plus New Ameno & Kami Evolutions

Introduction

Saturday  marks the return of our bi-monthly Godfests and features the debut of the highly anticipated Saline . Saline is a brand new 7* Godfest Exclusive and will be a top prize card for many players as she is able to boost rank experience gained by 1.8x. While this may look strange on paper, it is invaluable for higher ranking players or those who wish to chain rank ups more easily.

Unfortunately, Saline will be arriaving in a lackluster Godfest that only features 17 GFE. This has become the norm and makes current Godfests significantly worse compared to a few months ago simply because the number of featured GFE is smaller. As such, it may be best to skip this Godfest and wait for an event where GFE are better featured.

Furthermore, JP just had a massive Dragonbound & Dragon Caller (DBDC) renewal that introduced new cards and significant buffs to existing cards. For the most part, DBDC is one of the best special REMs to roll in as it features the strongest line up of lowest rarity cards and is only rivaled by Monster Hunter. This event should be coming to NA in about 2 months time along with heavy speculation of a 7-star Super Godfest beforehand.

This article will summerize the featured line up along with providing a review of Saline.

Introduction

Friday marks the return of our bi-monthly Godfests and the upcoming one is average at best. This is because it does not feature exceptionally boosted rates along with only 17 featured 6/7* GFE. This appears to be the new norm for Godfests moving forward which is a step back from the 21-22 featured ones from a couple of months ago. In addition to my regular review, I will also be including my previous Madoo  /  commentary for those who missed it.

Another reason to avoid this Godfest is the potential for an upcoming 7-themed Super Godfest that was not tied to a specific date/anniversary. This means there is a strong likelihood NA will receive something similar in 2 months (no confirmation, just speculation). As such, it would be wise to skip this Godfest in favour of saving Stones for more promising events.

Introduction

Saturday marks the debut of Madoo  /  during our bi-monthly Godfest and is an interesting card overall. Sadly, this Godfest comes on the heels of a Super Godfest in NA which means most players are out of Magic Stones along with this event being lackluster by comparison.

Furthermore, JP had a special 7-themed Super Godfest that was not tied to a specific date/anniversary which means there is a strong likelihood NA will receive something similar in 2-3 months (no confirmation, just speculation). As such, it would be wise to skip this Godfest in favour of saving Stones for more promising events.

With that being said, this article will summerize this Godfest, review Madoo, along with providing some insight on future JP GFE evolutions that just came out.

Introduction

Saturday marks the return of our bi-monthly Godfests and features the brand new 7-star GFE, Reeche . Reechie is an incredibly powerful card but her debut is alongside a vanilla Godfest and there is strong speculation that a Super Godfest is due in the near future. In fact, this Godfest could be the worst to date from a 6/7-star perspective as there are only 17 total GFE featured and assuming the 0.6/0.5& rolling rates, it will be even harder to acquire any one of them.

A Super Godfest is the best time to acquire a 6-star GFE and the particular one acquired has become less important now due to the Monster Exchange System. The Monster Exchange System enables players to trade in four 6-star GFE for a rare Collab card of their choice. As such, having a larger pool of 6-stars to draw upon has become vital to acquiring what are arguably the strongest cards in the game.

Thus, it is best to wait for the soon-to-come Super Godfest and simply pass on this event all together.

This article will summarize the cards available along with providing insight into Reeche and the featured Celtic Pantheon.
