Godfest basics
When making the decision to roll or save your magic stones, you need to determine if the featured pantheons can benefit or complement your teams. Chasing for one specific monster is unwise as you will most likely be disappointed and should ideally have Godfests that overlap with many target cards. Remember all monsters that come out of the REM will qualify for Skill Inheritance so do not be too hasty when selling dupes. For a more detailed team building help, please refer to my Popular Leader’s and their Full Sub List Post which is in the process of being updated. Lastly, to find more information about a specific pantheon or monster, refer to my Master List to better refine your search. If you are considering to purchase any of the Monster Point cards, please refer to my updated Tier List for help and advice.
Introduction
The Saint Patrick’s Festival Godfest marks the debut of the new Three Kingdoms 2 pantheon along with two new GFE, Fujin and Raijin
. All of these cards feature new and unique active skills that add a great deal of dimension and diversity to your Monster Box. All featured pantheon cards will roll out at their standard boosted 3x rates while the GFE will be available at 4x rates. In addition, all rolls will come out with +50 to a random stat and at level 50.
Following the trend of my previous Godfest reviews, I will include a tier list of both the pantheons, GFE, and a list that combines both for each day.
If you wish to read a more thorough analysis of the Three Kingdoms 2 pantheon, please refer to my previous post HERE. A full review of Fujin and Raijin can be found HERE.
One thing you need to be aware of is the lower than perceived rates for the Three Kingdoms 2 pantheon. All the 3K2 cards are 6-star rarity and will slightly harder to acquire than a regular card.

Video commentary
—video goes here—-
Ranking the cards – Pantheons & GFE
As part of my new format for Godfest posts, I will try my best to tier the featured pantheon cards along with GFE and then combine the two to showcase how strong of a day it is to roll. These opinions are my own and take into consideration the card’s value as a leader, sub, inherit, and possibly any niche role they fulfill. In order to rank in the highest tier, the card has to excel in their respective role and cannot feasibly be replaced by anyone else. This can also be thought of as a Best in Slot card and tends to have applications on the top tier teams.
Despite my best to remain neural, there is always the potential for bias and you need to be able to examine a card and determine if it can benefit your unique Monster Box.
Legend guide
Symbols condense the time spent processing information and here is a brief explanation for each one I will use:
The best of the best. These cards compromise a best in slot role on top tier teams. They are largely irreplacable and tend to offer something unique that cannot be easily replicated. This mostly exists to showcase the jump in power between the rest of the cards available.
All of the cards in this tier bring tremendous value to a variety of teams as either leaders, subs, or inherits that are challenging to replicate else where. For example, Green Odin remains one of the strongest bind clears and only card that can remove 5 turns of awoken skill binds (outside of Odin Dragon
). It may not be paramount to your success, but is well worth owning overall.
This category indicates cards that have value, but are not as widely used/irreplaceable as the above tier(s). While they may make your life easier and still bring an additional layer of power to your team, they are far from necessary. With that being said, some of these cards could hold the key to your own teams as everyone has different tools to work with.
Cards in the question mark category tend to be those that are a luxury and are often not widely used for the average player. With that being said, they may bring niche value to your monster box or provide an additional option to use. A great example of this is Red Odin who is a premiere button farming option, but with the addition of Red Tamazo
, players at least have a “farmable” poison inherit along with the future implementation of Descend inherits.
This category indicates the bottom of the Puzzle and Dragons barrel. These cards tend to have almost no value as they simply do not fit in the current meta and are badly in need of a buff or new evolution to give them viability. With that being said, you should still keep them as they technically have the most potential for improvement.
This arrow indicates if a card has moved up since the last posting/tier list. The category they are placed in will be their new home and each arrow will show how many brackets they moved up (eg. 2 will indicate they climbed up two tiers).
This arrow indicates if a card has moved down since the last posting/tier list. The category they are placed in will be their new home and each arrow will show how many brackets they moved down (eg. 2 will indicate they were demoted down by two tiers).
Ranking the pantheons
For the most part, GungHo tends to debut new cards alongside poor Godfests and for the most part, both days are underwhelming and less appealing when you factor in the 4x GFE rates.

Day 1
Day 1 features the new Three Kingdoms 2 and aging Angel 1 series. Neither of these pantheons feature any outstanding cards that are “must haves” and are more so for filling gaps when lacking the premiere options.
Sima Yi is the strongest card from the 3K2 series as he has value on most dark teams and is able to generate desirable orbs without breaking hearts. On the other hand, Diaochan
has a versatile 2 turn base cooldown that facilitates easy inheritance while retaining the ability to remove locked orbs. However, the short cooldown grants active skill clause teams another card they can utilize for maximum output. Finally, Raphael
offers a full board change of hearts alongside 2 turns of avoiding incoming damage. While this is very powerful, it is often relegated as an inherit for farming teams that wish to speed through content as fast as possible.
The single check mark tier is the most heavily populated rank with Michael leading the charge as a viable sub on the future Reincarnated Astaroth team. Unfortunately, he suffers from wasted awakenings for the most part as 4 autoheals
are not as meaningful and is the main reason why Uriel
and Gabriel
are often sidelined for the other double orb changers who produce hearts. Xiahou Don
has merits on TPA fire teams such as Shiva
and Shiva Dragon
his active is lower value if you cannot take advantage of the locked orb removal. The same can be said about Ma Chao
outside of Odin Dragon
pairing/sub/inheriting.
Finally, Gan Ning lacks a desirable home to take advantage of his double TPA and 7 combo awakening
and his main perk will be the orb unlock mechanic. Rounding out the bottom is Archangel Lucifer
has not seen relevancy in quite some time and is badly in need of a buff/rework like Raphael.
Day 2
Day 2 once again features the Three Kingdoms 2 series and the same ranking apply. However, they are now paired with the Mechanical 1 series. The Mechanical 1 series all convert jammer, poison, and hearts to their respective colour while providing 1 turn of haste. While this was detrimental during the heart cross meta, more leaders have emerged that can actually take advantage of this orb changer. In addition, all provide two SRB , two Skill Boosts
, two heart orb enhance
, and two of their respective colour orb enhances. They also possess a God Killer
awakening which enables them to deal 3x damage to Gods type bosses.
Castor has the most relevancy as he can be used on a variety of dark teams as either a sub or inherit. This includes Yomi Dragon
, Aizen
, and Dark Athena
. While not always your first choice, Castor can still be used as a suitable sub and his SBR coverage can be vital for solo Dark Athena teams.
While Castor is a small step above his pantheon cousins, they still bring value, but simply do not fit as well on their respective colour teams. Spica has merits on Machine Athena
and possible SBR stick for Awoken Liu Bei
while Alreshca
can fulfill a similar niche for Meridionalis
teams.
GFE tier list
I feel that having a tier list that visually ranks the various GFE against each other when looking at their viability as a leader, sub, assist, or niche role is beneficial. Being able to cover numerous aspects will result in a higher placing along with their value in rolling dupes. This will attempt to rate these cards from a general box point of view and your individual situation will dictate just how important each card is.
Generally speaking, if a this is your first time acquiring a GFE, it will have at least some value and you should never sell a non-duplicate card.
This is an updated list compared to last time to reflect the new evolutions that have been announced/released in JP 5. Within each tier, the cards are in no particular order outside of the highest tier and is simply how they appear in my icons master list.
Finally, this list takes into consideration all the cards in JP that we will receive (such as the future MP dragon evos).

Notable changes
No one actually shifted up or down a tier and the only noteworthy change to a card was Gremory being able to use God types along with gaining more rows and recover bind
. This does dramatically improve her viability overall as she can now utilize essentially every strong dark card in the game. Unfortunately, this will not push her up a tier due to the fact that she is still gatekeeped by the active skill clause and requiring heart crosses (and thus lower combo count).
Putting it all together
This will probably be the chart people would be most interested in as it combines the pantheon rankings and the GFE for each day:

Conclusion
Debuting a new pantheon and Godfest Exclusives certainly makes for an exciting Godfest; however, this excitement is marred by the poor pantheon pairings and lower GFE rates. While this may put a damper overall, you still have a strong chance of actually acquiring the new cards which will almost certainly provide more value than most duplicates.
Let me know what you think this Godfest, you plan on rolling, and on which day.
Happy Puzzling!

I love the last grid showing tiered rolls. Everything’s a lot clearer, but also more daunting. I’m thinking about 5 rolls on day 1 and skipping day 2. I’ll probably end up with 3 Sherias and 2 Fenrir cards. Good luck to all during this GF!
LikeLike
Hopefully you don’t roll those =P
As for the the last chart, yes it may be overwhelming, but I do have several other charts to help break it up/down for you =)

Ugh. Sherias, Laila and Zeta Hydra so far. Looking ugly this GF. Dare I keep going?

How many of the featured cards are of value to you?

None really! I was really just trying to get Raphael, Australis or Kaede with an outside chance if Fujin or Raijin. I had 200 stones saved so it was just a set number of rolls to see. I gave up after Leilan, Sharon and Kakkab came out. I’ll wait till a better GF comes up. Hopefully someone landed a few 6* monsters.
LikeLike
Well you should generally look at Pantheons first as those should be more common. Hopefully you can remain patient for a more ideal Godfest =D

Is this the first time a pantheon set of cards all came out as 6 star? Hopefully that doesn’t affect the REM pull rates!

In JP, the rates are slightly lower than a regular pantheon would be

I get this game is a business and there has to be a profit to Gung Ho, also I say I like the fact the game is luck base in what you draw as you never know what you will get and can sometimes get things outside of meta who can change your game experience, which again is part of the fun, but really …I mean yeah we are getting the 390 k mp which is not bad an Dathena may happen with hope and love in our hearts but after the previous Godfest which had same bad rates, the evangelion collab which is basically an 5 tones mp purchase, exept for the kali guy and the myr copycat, we get this, Im exited for fujin and rajin as they seem really cool , however getting a Godfest with low rates new cards with no evos, and the freaking Archangel pantheon is insulting,I swear im going to cry if i see a fourth Archangel Lucifer rolling out….anyway great chart man, best source for knowing how bad a godfest is before rolling for pure hype, its really apreciated.

Glad you enjoy my write up and it is my belief that GH debuts cards with horrible Godfests to entice the high rollers into more spins. Those players will want to be the first to use the new and gamebreaking Fujin and the lower rates simply delay the inevitable for them and thus profit for GH. It is terrible for all players tbh and patience would be the rationale choice….By comparison, the previous GF was pretty Fantastic

I see Green Odin (Shining Lance Wielder, Odin) in the topmost list, but you have not included him in your rating. He seems like a nice utility as a bind breaker. I’d like to see where you rank him relative to the other GFEs.

Green Odin only appears in Day 2 so the bottom chart only has him there. He is listed in the full GFE tier list though

Think I’m gonna use the free stones I’ve been hoarding on Day 1. The only Archangel I own is Lucifer(ouch) so getting any of the others would be a nice boost for the box, while I already own three of the five Mech Star gods, including 2 Castors. Plus day 1 gives me a shot as Eschmali for my Yomi Dragon.

So with me having limited leads including basically sumire or s arasvati I need either subs for these leads or a new lead altogether. I do have eschamil already. I don’t know if its worth me spending stones or holding till next gf. Any advice?
Other notable gods are red Sonia, green Odin, sherias, famiel, metatron, austrilas, neptune, and orochi.

Sumire tends to be comprised of dupes of himself and Sarasvati uses almost any water orb changer. With that in mind, this isn’t the best godfest as the featured pantheons are not the best and it’s 4x gfe

I’m going all in on day 1. My goal is to build my Ronove teams so it can be more reliable. To that effect I need kaedes on both accounts and rozuel on my alt account. On the 21st I’ll have rag drag so hopefully I’ll have an almost fully optimal ronove team on both accounts.
I have 22 rolls worth of gems saved up between my accounts.

Hmmm, I would like one of the new cards, but not sure how lucky I feel. I may just sit and wait until a 5 times GFE comes along. On a serious note, I love the way the lists are done for GodFests. It really makes it very easy to figure out what day to roll for and you do a great job of stating the benefits of each monster. Both days seem to be good but I shall go for day 1. Could use another Fenrir 🙂

Heh, Jammers…
Fenrir could become useful if dark had a premiere button farming team and God Killer was Devil/Dragon….

I should have enough for 6 pulls. If i could have whatever I want from those 6 pulls they would be:
2x Dark Kali
Eschmali
Ryune
Kanna
Gremory
I can only get the Kalis and Ryune day 2 and Eschmali and Kanna day 1. So if i roll, it would be day 2. However, since they are all GFE cards, it might be best to just wait until a 5x comes around.
The new pantheon is interesting and i’m sure i would take some comfort in pulling some of them, but i wouldn’t say i want them over the GFEs i don’t have.
As far as the Gala of Flame which will also be on, I would only really care for Minerva or Cao Cao.
Naturally I say all of this, but stones have a way of burning a hole in my pocket during godfests….

It’s mostly because lol Sima Yi so cute husbando Dark Athena yay but also because I really want to own a Uriel, a dupe Michael is great for Revo Astaroth who is really good, and I’d like to have a spare Raphael and Lucifer for when their awokens are released. Seriously I spent so much time max skilling my own Lucifer lol rip.

Vishnu #2-Waiting on Awoken.
Gronia #2-Why couldn’t this be Blonia?
Antares-Wrong day buddy.
Sherias #2-Maybe someday LKali actives will be relevant again. Probably not.
Kaede-The shining star that makes everything else worthwhile.
Markab-Need more for system.
Xiahou Dun-Don’t have a use for him but, he’s my favorite 3K general.
Xiahou Dun #2-Really?

Well those are reasonable rolls from a rarity perspective, it’s just unfortunate they are the more lacking ones. Form a gemstone POV, flame n wood gala is the worst to roll heavily in as the teams they help tend to be less viable overall, but still worth keeping of course.
Brutal Don can be used on Shiva teams so that may be an option

No Haku on my main account, unfortunately. Now I have to figure out whether to go Yomi Dragon route or wait for Dark Athena, or neither. I am working on rigging my Minerva-Ilm tandem to try A2-A3, but I suspect one of YomiDra or DAthena(please come to NA!) could make my life much easier.
I might hit you up for some advice down the road (thought I’d warn you in advance)…

As for Yomi Dragon, do you have at least 2/3 of Haku, Escha, Akechi. If you don’t own 2 of those, you shouldn’t really consider purchasing
LikeLike
No Haku, but I do have Eschamali and Akechi on my main account! My alt account has all 4 (Snow Star and Awoken Haku, plus Akechi and Eschamali). From what I read on your discussion, it sounds like Dark Athena make A3 farming reasonable while Yomi Dragon is more about A1. I run A1 pretty comfortably with my Minerva-Ilm tandem now, so if I understood you correctly Yomi Dragon is more of a “nice to have” rather than a “this will change my pad experience” type of purchase, whereas Dark Athena, if she ever comes, could give me the latter.
Now that I’m thinking about it, I should probably turn my attention to the three Machine Descends at some point. What are your thoughts about farming them (if I ever manage a team that reliable runs them) versus using pii’s from A1 for the skillups? I’m masochistic enough to want to make one of each of the three (Zeus, Hera, Athena), and one extra Hera is needed if I decide on Yomi Dragon. Is there any benefit to making more than one of any of them?

Unbindable, perfect body to inherit Facet onto, and brings a shitload of TPA damage to any team she works on. She’s especially valuable for propping up Ra Dragon’s “low” damage and allowing Myr teams to be less orb-hungry.

– Shiva (Yea! I have all the base monsters for that team!)
– Fujin.
Oh yes. I know you believe Fujin is OP, but I will not fear snowy valley or thoth any longer 😀 .
I think I’m done- I may not even do tomorrow, since i already have 3 L Metatrons and I am bitter about that, and god knows I don’t need a 4th or fifth Satsuki.

Hey There, i m so disappointed about the rolls i did.
I rolled 10 times with the hope of a useful sub or a game changing card and i only got:
1. Horus
2. Patricia Ezel
3. Kano
4. Red Sky Wizard Chester
5. Jester Wizard Chester
6. Phoenix Rider
7. Archangel Metatron
8. Silk
9. Purple Sky Fruit
10. Green Odin (my second one)
Do you think there is any value i didn t see, or can i start to feel like sh… and sell the cards for future DAthena?
i wish everybody a happy sunday

Don’t sell any card that is your first or often times your second as new buffs can come out and they may fulfill niche roles.
As for your rolls, Silk is a wonderful burst inherit for certain teams while Horus has value as a base for Skill Inheritance late game. Phoenix Rider is a useful shield inherit or sub as well

Rolled Day 1: got a silver and Archangel Lucifer
Rolled Day 2: got a fake gold, silver, dupe Yamato Takeru, and Gan Ning. I already have a bankai version of Takeru, so I’m probably going to wait to get his awoken form. As for the other two, I don’t care if they’re underdogs/not very good, I’m just happy I got something new this godfest.

I am glad you were able to acquire something new! Tbh, anything new tends to have an elevated value overall as it can fulfill new or niche roles

I got Fujin, Castor, Ars Nova, Paimon, and Skuld all off of one pack. None of them were had before

This god fest rates were bad but I guess we all knew that from the beginning..So there came my attempt to roll something good on my box..
Day1
-Zeta Hydra( Orochis lame brother already had one meh!)
-Diochan (Not a bad roll, at least an excuse to start using that Anubis I have gathering dust in my box.)
-Sherias Blue(Third one…15,000 MP not bad at all.)
-Cyberdragon Shedar (guess what more MP.)
So day one was bad now lets look at day 2…
-Ares (Have no fire Teams but I guess he can be useful in the future).
-Dark Kali (Got exited to see a pull so rare its the second one i have now, now only problem is I dont have any other subs for radrag…no Isis, no Kanna, no Indra…I got susanoo maybe that can work as inheritance, but I dont think having the 2 Dkalis is enough to get Radrag you can correct me if you think otherwise).
-Spica (Dont have any particular use for her now but she is not bad).
-Dragon Rider (New card for me was going to sell it however since its the first one i got..might as well save it for now at least…)
So day number 2 wasn’t what I was hoping but it could been thousand time worst.

Just getting dark kali is pretty amazing! As for your ra dragon question, you can make awoken Susano as a sub due to bind immunity, God typing, and wood coverage. Thus, all you would need to find is a viable water God (or any water sub typing). Does anything work?

Got Sima Yi and the second DKali to join my first Dkali, Kanna, and Isis. I think it’s finally time to bite the bullet and buy RaDrag. I even have the Roots to inherit onto him and the Facet for Kanna.
I also have the perfect subs for a potential DAthena team, though, with 3X Hakus, Loki, Sima Yi, Typhon Ana and Lumiel for inherits. For flex options I have Durga and Persephone, not to mention the Facet for inherits.
If I gut my box a bit I can get both… Its hard to choose.

Buy Ra Dragon now as you can use the ideal team right away. Dark Athena is probably still some time away so you can farm up MP while you wait. I would not recommend gutting your box

My rolls:
day 1:
– 2nd Sanada (inherit on the first one or use him as 2nd sub in Krishna?)
– 2nd Sumire
– 2nd Ronia
(disapponting) day 2:
– 1st Hatsume
– useless 3k MP Sea Serpent, three GF and three useless dragon in a row

Two Sanadas on Krishna is not a terrible option, but you can always use as an inherit or as a way to upgrade other active skills

I had my best draw ever: Paimon, Satsuki, Red Knight Nim, Arch Angel Michael, and Krishna. I’m due for a long run of silvers now, but I’ve been after a legit red lead on my non-iap team for over a year. It was a good Godfest!
