Introduction
Starting on Monday, October 8, the North American server will enjoy a beach-themed Gatcha-Dragon event in which players can participate for lucrative individual and server-wide rewards.
The event lasts for a week and comes in two difficulties with each one having a chance for an Egg MachineDra to spawn. Each successful clear with an Egg MachineDra appearance will count towards your personal progression as well as the server total and once certain thresholds have been met, rewards will be distributed.
This is a wonderful event as it gives players of various levels of progression the chance to grind towards something meaningful.
With that being said, there is the chance that players will receive 2 free pull in the Beach REM which means one should hold off on using the Monster Exchange system in case fortune smiles upon you.
Just be aware that the dungeon follows a Limited Time Dungeon (LTD) format so one must check each day to see their play times.

How it works
The Beach/PAD Island REMDra Descended functions like the previous REMDra event North America had last April in that players have the opportunity to play for both personal and server-wide rewards.
Within each difficulty, there will be the chance to encounter a special Egg MachineDra spawn that when successfully killed/cleared, will contribute to your own personal and server-wide progression Victory Count. Just be aware that these Egg Machine spawns are not guaranteed so one will have to run the dungeon multiple times over the course of the event.
Victory Counts will only increase if an Egg MachineDra was encountered and the dungeon was cleared.
Limited Time Dungeon
Limited Time Dungeons (LTD) are dungeons that only appear for an hour at a time randomly throughout the day. This can be quite frustrating as it can force players to build their schedule around PAD instead of the other way around. As such, the Beach REMDra event follows a LTD format so it cannot be cleared when is convenient for players. One can check their schedule in game by clicking the LTD button in the top right corner.
Personal rewards
There are three types of Egg MachineDra spawns: PEMDra, REMDra, and Island REMDra. In order to receive the maximum personal rewards, players must successfully encounter each one 7 times. Doing so will unlock the following rewards along with a Rainbow Event Medal 
.
Server rewards
With each successful encounter and clear of an Egg MachineDra, players will not only help their personal progression, but the progression of the server.
When enough Egg MachineDras are cleared, all players will receive a special bonus that includes a special Descend Boss pull, a regular REM pull, and a Beach REM pull. Each reward can be achieved twice provided the Round 2 total of 120,000 is met.
Just remember that the Victory Count will only increase if you killed an Egg MachineDra and completed the dungeon.
Due to the fact that these may be completed in any order, we may receive each reward at an unpredictable schedule.
You can check both your personal and server-wide progression levels in game.
What to do with Egg MachineDra drops?
Each of the Egg MachineDra drops can be used for Monster Experience; however, selling them for Monster Points is the best thing to do with them.
With that being said, you can always keep 1 as a trophy.
Coopable
All dungeon difficulties can be completed in Coop and this will both lessen the degree of difficulty and save 50% of your stamina. Furthermore, if a Egg MachineDra were to appear and drop, both players will receive progression for their personal completion along with contributing to the server-wide tally. Thus, a drop in Coop will yield 2 total victories for the server.
Conclusion
The PAD Island REMDra is an exciting event as it gives players another chance to acquire a Rainbow Event Medal along with lucrative personal and server-wide rewards.
If each player is able to achieve their 7 clears for each Egg MachineDra, there is a strong likelidhood that we will receive the full server rewards.

All farmers out there should have been farming the Beach dungeon anyways…. the drop rate of 3,000 MP silver egg is about every 3 or 4 run (on the days of drop rate double). Which is much faster than farming PreDra (500 MP) on special descend.

Depending on your situation, farming for MP may be worthwhile still as they may be newer and lack any MP card

FYI an egg machinedra is not a random invade but is the boss of the dungeon and is a guaranteed drop

Getting a guaranteed machinedra for each clear does help make up for the limited time dungeon. Anybody have the rates for how often each machinedra is appearing for each of the two difficulties? I’d hate to keep farming the higher difficulty if I don’t need to…

I’d like to see some numbers on this as well. Ive done 44 runs 43 of the mythical and 1 of the lower difficulty. 3 pem 31 rem 10 island. I’ve read somewhere that island dragon was 25% and pem was 5% in mythical, but they didnt say where they got those numbers from. My limited experience doesn’t fall too far outside those rates tho.

Hey Ed, to add to your stats so far I’ve had 1 PEM, 36 REM, and 3 island encounters. So I’m no where near that 25% island encounters so far.

11 PEM, 21 REM, 7 Island. exactly 25%.
I only encountered Island ones in Mythical Level.

My own personal rates are similar to those but I did have a pretty high rate of PEM but again its a small sample size

You have to farm the higher difficulty for the BeachDra and I would say the appearance rate is 1/4-1/5 based on my own results

Mine is around 5 pem 27 rem and 8 island rem.

Oh yeah none of these samples sizes are big enough to be remotely conclusive, and I can’t remmeber where I read those numbers and furthermore I’m not sure if they were from a reputable source, so yknow… grain of salt. I’m justtrying to farm up as many islands as possible so we get that second pull. Starting to hate the color gold.

Do you think that the server will make it to the end goal for islanddra?

I mean.. looks like we will hit 80k today by end of day (i hope) which means approx 20k a day which would make that a yes by a large margin. THen again, as people get their 7 each they might stop playing it, but then again the weekend will make the LTD less of an encumberance for most. On balance, at this point, I will say yes.

I have two yogs, ryune, and slyvie. Do you think I should trade them for Barbara&Julie? I don’t have other GFEs for the trade. For BJ subs, I have mel, jhoira, amatsu, beach tachibana, and I&I.
For yog, I have a current team
1. yog
2.saria for FUA
3.Ilmina for VDP, killers
4.yang Guifei for quick active and 2 7c’s
5.Cloud&Fenrir for quick active and 1 7c
Do you think my BJ team is stronger than my yog team and it would be better to trade my yog for BJ team? Any advice would be appreciated.

I personally have Yog and B&J.
And I found Yog is still irreplaceable for shorter dungeons such as recent Caller Dragon decends, monthly missions, 3P descend…. etc.

Yog is mostly a strong farming leader while BJ is catered towards end game content
As such, your BJ team is far superior than Yog for clearing things like Alt arena so I would exchange if you struggle to clear those kinds of end game content

What is better for babara and julie. Awoken mori or b/b mori. Btw my other subs are blue fujin and hermes and i got 5 spare mori to change into any of the subs so which should i go with awoken or b/b

I would say awoken Mori would be the best option while also having only 2 water rows (which are somewhat useless)
