Illusionary Artists REM Review

Introduction

The Illusionary Artists are a GungHo owned event that features numerous event cards that are lumped together with the REM alongside a sprinkling of Godfest Exclusives (GFE). This means that the Artists event will return on a regular basis and it is not a far stretch to expect buffs, especially for the top rarity.

On the other hand, the rolling rates are abysmal as there is a strong likelihood that you will not even be able to roll an event card, let alone the top rarity cards who boast a 1% rolling rate. This can lead to frustration along with those top rarity cards being potentially difficult to team build for as they require 28 Skill Boosts Skill Boost to Transform which will be challenging for less developed boxes.

While the leadership potential of these top rarity cards is quite high, they are less mindless to play (can be a good or bad thing depending on your play style) while also being incredibly difficult to roll along with no way to Monster Exchange for them.

With that being said, I want to highlight the truly notable rolls from this event as there is plenty of value to be found if you are able to acquire an event card.

On a side note, my wrists are still hurting so additional information will be found via the YouTube video.

All cards have value in some way, shape, or form and players should always keep at least 2-3 copies at minimum as future buffs can greatly revitalize a card’s value.

Order below is random within each tier except for Atelie as a leader

Illusionary Artists Chase Cards – August 2022

Weapon Assists

Chase cards, especially the leaders, assume you have a deep Monster Box in order to fully take advantage of their kit. Furthermore, Atelie is incredibly challenging to use and requires excellent Spinner/Roulette management and somewhat mandatory Raffine .

Conclusion

The Artists event features underwhelming odds for actual Event cards along with no collateral benefits (eg. SR evolution) for the other cards. Furthermore, the top rarity cards will be challenging to team build for as they require 28 Skill Boosts Skill Boost to function along with a 7×6 card.

With that being said, I feel that this event is more skewed towards more developed Monster Boxes as they would be better able to take advantage of the Event cards right away along with already having enough cards to support their teams. You can make the argruement newer accounts can “grow” into these cards but by that time, this Event may already be returning as it is GungHo-owned.
