Keeping with the trend of being able to record quality videos, I decided to showcase how I have been farming Mythic Plus Linthia Descended for the Dubmythlits (who never drop in Friday dungeon), 500 Monster Points via the PreDRAs , plus eggs (when 10x), rank experience, and the boss drop, and Linthia . Linthia Descended is normally a challenging encounter as she preemptively disables your awoken skills for 5 turns and hits incredibly hard. I used to farm her with my Blue Sonia team; however, I transitioned over to Awoken DQXQ due to higher damage and no type restriction.
Please ignore the brief interruption at the end as my visiting Dad is overzealous and impatient to be let inside….
With any Mythic Plus Rogue Descend, you need to have a reliable way to deal with the PreDRAs and for Linthia, you should bring a delay to help handle the preemptive awakenings bind. For myself, I like to not use my delay on the first turn and instead use a shield/damage mitigation to stall out a few turns to give myself a large room for error in case I do not one shot the final boss.
When dealing with the PreDRAs, you should try to have the opposite player sweep the previous floor to ensure the correct player takes their turn to eliminate them without wasting a pass turn.
In an ideal world, I would like to use Awoken Apollo to override the wood skyfall, but sometimes it is not always possible.
Hopefully this video is informative and provides some inspiration on how to tackle Linthia Descended along with using an Awoken DQXQ team.
With the introduction of everything coop patch, we are now able to farm the limited time dungeons with our friends (or in my case, myself) for half the stamina. There are probably countless variations for a button team for PreDRA Infestation, but here is a relatively easy to form and mostly farmable team. The other subs are just for skill boosts and outside of the 3 poisons (or true damage), the Lucifer needs to have a skill inherited to counteract the 2 turn skill delay from the boss. Please excuse my lack of recording skills and pointless audio.
As always, it is more efficient to run the easier difficulty as it awards more Monster Points per stamina spent.
10x Monster Points can now be generated from descend boss drops during special events. That means what used to be 10 Monster Points now becomes 100. This may seem insignificant considering that an MP Dragon costs 300,000; but remember, every raindrop raises the sea. And that raindrop becomes a thunderstorm when repeatedly farming the same dungeon over and over again. For Mantastic and Fantastic, it means Scarlet Descended – Mythical Plus as I want to have a Scarlet System (about 55% complete on Mantastic) and it has an amazingly high Monster Point drop rate as you can have up to 802 per run if you sell all the drops. This is quite fantastic considering it only costs 25 stamina and awards 46-49k rank experience per clear. I also wish to examine the viability of farming Monster Points from descends (vs PreDRA Infestation) as well as comparing 100 MP vs +1 selling.
Scarlet is a very challenging dungeon to beat, let alone consistently farm and I wish to share how I have been doing so by doing coop with my second account:
Mythical-Plus coop dungeons grant us the opportunity to farm a guaranteed PreDRA (aka 500 MP) for 50 stamina opens up the potential to slowly reach the 300k Monster Point goal needed to buy a MP Dragon. Furthermore, with the introduction of PreDRA Infestation, all players have the chance to acquire Latent Tamadras and modest amounts of Monster Points. As such, I want to analyse these 2 mediums separately to better explain my thoughts. I am going to make the assumption that your average REM roll is worth 5,000 MP (thus each stone = 1,000).
PreDRA Infestation is a new hourly dungeon that gives players an easy way to farm Latent Tamadras and Monster Points. The dungeon is split into 99 and 50 stamina difficulties and both have their pros and cons.
