GungHo Collab Review & Analysis

Introduction

The GungHo Collab is making a return appearance in a special 7-stone Machine that only features 6 or 7-star cards. This is a surprising turn of events as the original GH Collab featured lackluster 5-stars that clogged up the machine.

In fact, there is a 29.5% chance of rolling one of the 7-star cards with some of them being incredibly powerful. Unfortunately, the rolling pool is heavily bloated which means it will be difficult to snipe any one specific card. On the bright side, any 7-star card will require 5 trade fodder which includes 6-star GFE.

This article will outline the strengths and weaknesses of the GungHo cards to give players an idea of what each card has to offer and whether or not it is worth their Magic Stones.

A Closer Look: Super Follow Up Attack and Zela

Introduction

Super Follow Up Attack (SFUA) has been in the game for quite some time now and was mostly a meme/joke upon the initial release. This is because it provided 2 pings of FUA damage but required 9 Heart orbs in a 3×3 Box. The initial thought process was that it could enable Row-based teams to still achieve a horizontal match, but Rows never took off and the higher orb count made it impractical compared to a regular Follow Up Attack (column of 5 Hearts).

As such, Super Follow Up Attack was mostly ignored outside of niche Ranking Dungeons where it awarded Style Points. With that being said, Super Follow Up Attack may be beginning to make a comeback due to the Leader Skills that rely on blobs to activate, the ability for it to be inherited via Weapon Assists , the ability to provide 2x ATK for the owning card, and Zela .

The primary use is for dealing with resolve spawns but will almost always require an active skill to work. Continue reading A Closer Look: Super Follow Up Attack and Zela

GungHo Collab Godfest Featuring Dark Evolutions Review & Analysis – May 2019

Introduction

The GungHo Collab is finally making a return to North America after several months. Following the trend in January, the 6 and 7-star cards will be available during a Super Godfest. What makes this Godfest more exciting is the debut of the Dark evolutions which grant significantly more power to four of the 7* GungHo cards.

Due to the Super Godfest, the total chance of acquiring something of value is higher, but each roll will cost 10 Magic Stones. Thankfully, all cards come out +297, max Awoken, and max Level along with the rolling rates being around 33% to acquire a 6/7* GFE or 7* GungHo Collab card.

This article will outline the strengths and weaknesses of the GungHo cards to give players an idea of what each card has to offer and whether or not it is worth their Magic Stones.
