Santa Claus Descended Video and Merry Christmas!!

The inner child in me stayed up until past midnight on Christmas Eve and was slightly disappointed that Santa Claus did not visit me right away in PAD =( Also, what did Santa say to Christmas Hera? Ho Ho Ho!

I managed to wake up early and play some PAD while most of my family was still asleep. I was also able to record my mythical / aka SuperBlessed clear in the new Santa Claus Descended, so you can watch me waste stamina instead of you! Only some minor hiccups and I promise I haven’t started drinking nor hungover from last night!

Introduction

Christmas is nearly upon us and what better way to celebrate than with a festive Puzzle and Dragons song?

Lyrics

All lyrics were written and composed by me and is a feeble attempt to compensate for my singing:

Dashing through the dungeon
In a Snowglobe open sleigh
Over the bosses we go
Pew Pew-ing all the way

TPA matches ding
Making damage high
Oh what fun it is to combo in
the PAD wonderland

Hey jingle bells
Shiva smells
Chiyome laid an egg
Yamato lost his sword
and Hino learnt ballet

Oh magic stones
Players moan
with their 3 star eggs
Oh what fun it is to roll
In every godfest now!

A turn or two ago
I thought I’d try to stall
but no hearts did appear
on my little board

The bosses were so mean
And multi hit very hard
but luckily I combo big
and hearts skyfalled in place

Hey magic stones
Red Kali
is so rare to roll
IAP all day now
Just to get Gung-trolled

Hey magic stones
in game gold
doesn’t have much use
sell away your silver eggs
just for monster points!

Conclusion

Singing may not be my forte, but I am certain I put a smile on your face.

All I Want for Christmas is…a Snow Globe?

I can’t believe this will be my third Puzzle and Dragons Christmas and every year it gets bigger and better! Gung-Ho has consistently been stepping up their game in terms of the number events, content being released, and magic stone/tamadras/pii give-aways. Tomorrow, we get the revamped Christmas Dungeon with the top difficulty being amusingly named SuperBlessed. I dearly hope the dungeon features festive music (I still do not understand people who play with the sound off) as that helped me get into the Christmas spirit and combined my favourite time of year with my love for PAD. One Step Closer to my Dream Team

The previous Player’s Choice Godfest, I managed to roll a Susano Baby Susano in my 14 rolls for Mantastic. He competes with my hypermaxed Kush Baby Kush and Dark Izanami Diza as a shielding option. However, Awoken Susano Susano outclasses both of them because of his bind-immunity and covering both red and green for my Awoken Sakuya Sakuya team. Having both Susano and Sakuya being bind-immune allows me to activate my leader skill even if the boss tries to bind every monster on my team. This will save me at some point or another and I am looking forward to trying a new Sakuya team roster. Continue reading One Step Closer to my Dream Team →

Awoken I&I Released

I&I I am a bit disappointed we did not get I&I for Halloween as their artwork is amazing and completely embraces the spooky theme. That withstanding, they should be one of the first  awoken Norse Gods to hit North America along with the strangely dressed Thor . The awoken form of all the Norse Gods adds significant power through four awakenings and now allows I&I to be either a row or TPA-based sub. The addition of two Skill Lock Resist helps your teams achieve 100% resistance with greater ease. The new active skill gives me somewhat mixed feelings. I spent a small lifetime skilling up my I&I 2 and the thought of having that go to waste is a little soul crushing. Normally I am all Gung-Ho for an awoken form with a revamped active skill, but the I&I active is perhaps a side upgrade. I say this because the awoken form raises the minimum cooldown to 12 turns compared to 9. It increases the damage multiplier to 2x from 1.5x, so that is very welcomed as it could ensure a clean kill. Extending the damage to dark type monsters is relatively pointless as you are most certainly using I&I as a mono team lead or sub. Continue reading Awoken I&I Released →

Hello Fellow Puzzle and Dragoners!

I am Mantastic & Fantastic and have been playing PAD for over two years and currently play two different accounts (rank 470 & 376 at time of posting) and very iap light. PAD is currently my most played game with only WoW attempting to compete (only 3 raids a week).
