Xin Hua (XH), or Plum, is the second of the Four Gentlemen series 300k MP monsters to be released and has been met with extreme controversy due to her horribly limited sub pool and and a complete dependency on Skill Inheritance. Xin Hua has less viability than Xiang Mei due to no health multiplier and an even smaller sub pool. Furthermore, Xin Hua lacks both a dual typing and sub colour which may seem strange; however, this appears to be the trend for the 4 Gentlemen series and you are banking on their leadership potential to compensate.

The following video is to showcase Xin Hua’s play style and how she is capable of clearing the challenging Arena 2:
Xiang Mei, or Orchid, is the first of the Four Gentlemen series 300k MP monsters to be released and brings a new play style, a dramatic increase in powercreep, and a somewhat dependency on Skill Inheritance. She is easily the most REM heavy of the MP Dragons to date and should only be purchased if you have the luxury of owning multiple copies of her and the few keys subs.

Xiang Mei lacks dual typing and does not have a sub attribute. This seems bizarre for a 300k MP Monster; however, her leadership potential is unrivalled provided you have the right subs, duplicate Xiang Mei’s, and Skill Inheritance. The following video is mostly to illustrate the play style of Xiang Mei without skill inheritance to give you an idea of her capabilities. The topic of which Monster Point Dragon to buy is on the forefront of many player’s minds as it is a large investment. Furthermore, as the game progresses and we accumulate more duplicates to sell, new players will be reaching the elusive 300k MP needed to make their first purchase. However, one should not be rash in decimating their monster box as these powerful dragons need the right subs to function properly. If you are having second thoughts or doubts about selling a particular monster, the answer is probably no and you must exercise patience and simply wait. Furthermore, your MP Dragon team does need an investment in levels, skill ups, and pluses to be truly powerful. Lastly, they require 10 million experience to max level, 99 team cost, and have challenging evolution materials.
I have omitted any farmable subs as those can be acquired over time. If you are missing many key subs required to run their team effectively, it may be wise to to delay purchasing as you may be running a sub-par line up otherwise. For a more expansive list that includes farmable monsters, refer HERE.

SHIVA DRAGON
About
is perhaps the king of farming leads as he offers an unconditional 25x multiplier to fire gods. can either focus on rows or two prong attacks to quickly mow down bosses. However, he somewhat falters in the highest level content due to a less dynamic sub pool, no bind immunity, and a weak active that places heavy emphasis on strong subs. Lastly, is an easy way to score in the top 10% (or even 1%) of ranking dungeons.
Pros
Fastest farming lead in the game
Unconditional 25x ATK multiplier for fire gods
2.25x RCV for fire gods
Capable of scoring in the top 10% of ranking tournaments with ease
Cons
2-turn haste active places higher demand on ideal subs
Subs should almost always be orb changers as you effectively only have 4 actives
Can be bound (which is becoming more of an issue with pre-emptive leader binds)
Very REM dependent
Key Subs to Own
Fire rows are critical for large burst and the 3 Ares are not a typo as you can run up to 3 with success.
Ragnarok Mecha Dragon will be the 6th featured Monster Point Dragon and he comes as a bit of a surprise. For starters, he caps out at only 8 star rarity (compared to 9 stars for the rest) and as such, his value already feels decreased. However, what sets him apart will be the new God Killer awakening that boosts his own damage against god type enemies by 3x. In addition, will have lead or sub potential so he gains bonus points for flexibility. Continue reading Ragnarok, The 6th MP Dragon→
I have almost completely made my mind up what I should do with my first 300k Monster Points as I was lucky with the 4x GFE rates this past godfest. I am actually very excited and have been researching both Yomi Dragon and Ra Dragon to try and determine who would be the best fit for my box and playstyle. I am only 1 skill up away from hypermaxing Elia and completing my Awoken Sakuya team pictured below. It is rare to be able to complete a team in PAD and the satisfaction I will have with the final skill up will be a glorious thing. As such, I wish to expand and branch out to a different team as will most likely not have any roster changes any time soon.
Tada!
My goal is to develop another end game team who is capable to clearing current content should my encounter issues. Both and are rated as top tier leads who both have the capacity to clear all the content PAD has to offer and I wish to weigh the pros and cons of using either along with my suitability based on my monster box.
Not mine XD
Yomi Dragon has a playstyle similiar to Awoken Yomi as both leads require you to match 5 connected orbs with at least one being enhanced. is vastly superior due to consistency because requires 7 combos to reach maximum damage potential. I have an team and enjoy the playstyle, but feel constricted by the lack of consistency and low recovery. As such, I am very tempted to purchase as it will allow me to develop and learn a new team.
Pros:
Unbindable along with bind recovery awakening
This completely removes the need to bring a bind clear sub as ‘s active can generate 4 heal orbs and a single row of hearts will remove 6 turns of binds
Powerful and synergetic active
2.25x recovery for god type monsters
Easy to activate 36x damage with only restriction is having 5 dark orbs
Can create teams with numerous haste actives and thus spamming skills
2 time extend and 1 awakenings
Team building is flexible and only restricts you to using god type dark monsters
Less ugly than Ra Dragon
Cons:
Lowish damage? Really would not be an issue when you have 9+ dark orbs so there may be some reliance on actives
Kind of ugly and does not fit the Puzzle and Waifus theme
Ra Dragon is the king of rainbow leads as he offers an unbelievable 144x damage to god types when matching red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and heart orbs. Everything will essentially fall over and you will most likely overkill anything when proc-ing your leading skill. Unfortunately, comes with a high skill cap along with specific and restrictive subs
Pros:
144x damage for a relatively easy to active leader skill (“easy” when compared to other 100x leads)
2.25x recovery along with very high base stats
2 two prong awakenings push your damage even higher
2 awakenings to help ensure you match your 6 elements
Unbindable
Cons:
Lacks a awakening and puts a strain on team building in order to achieve 100% resistance
Sub pool is very constricted and relies heavily on having 2 Dark Kalis for constant board refreshes
Highest chance of any lead to be orb trolled
Even uglier than
So now the big question is what am I going to purchase? When deciding which MP Dragon to invest in, you should look at your potential sub pool. A leader, no matter how powerful, is going to falter without ideal subs. For myself, I already have a powerful rainbow leader in Awoken Sakuya along with 0 Dark Kalis . Therefore, if I were to buy , I would be missing all of the important subs with the exception of Awoken Isis along with not being able to branch out and experience different team playstyles. As such, I will purchase because I have a stronger sub pool along with wanting to experience a new type of team and gameplay.
Here we go!Ahhhh *screaming in Japanese*
Okay, that gave me quite the adrenaline rush! My first MP dragon and I now have a new project to work on. It will mostly be trying to 297 everything I can and here are some tentative teams I may try to run. I am open to team building feedback as my experience here is more limited when deciding on ideal subs.
Any input is greatly appreciated!Z8 isnt a god, but is max skilled25 percent gravity may be useful?Shield and board refresh all dayToo many orb changers?Haste all day?
