Which GFE to Choose for your Weekly Medal Exchange – 10 Great Witches

Introduction

Today marks the third 7-star GFE to be handed out to all players for logging in and this round features all 10 Great Witches. But before I go any further, I want to stress that this particular Medal expires on January 9, 2022.

This is different compared to all the other Medals which have no expiration date so just be mindful of this fact. With that being said, I wish to highlight the notable cards and reasons why you should Monster Exchange for them.

Continuing my trend from the beginning of the month, I will be evaluating all the notable Medal options each time they are released.

Sanrio (Hello Kitty) Collab REM Review – November 2021

Introduction

The Hello Kitty Collab returns to North America for the first time in several years and features numerous buffs for existing cards along with new Kitties to chase.

As a whole, this Collab does not offer much if trying to tackle current end game content (SR2+/MD1+) but instead grants players numerous Farming tools that are truly excellent when used in Solo mode. This is because they provide numerous Dungeon Bonus awakenings which increases the drop chance and values dropped/earned at the end of the Dungeon.

Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to build the easiest to use Training Arena 3 team which is the best place to level up your Monsters (50M Exp per clear).

To sweeten the deal, the Monster Exchange costs are quite favourable as they only require five 6-star GFE which has become quite common for PAD Pass owners.

With that being said, the bottom rarity leaves much to be desired and rolling here may result in many sad but cute cards.

Due to continuing wrist pains, I have only done Pros & Cons for notable cards and skipped the others.

If you wish to read a different perspective on this event, check out BattleCorgi’s review on Hyperion’s website HERE.

7* GFE Great Witch Medal Exchange

Introduction

From April 5th to April 31st, all players who log into PAD will receive a free Great Witch Exchangeable Medal which can utilized to acquire one of the ten Great Witches.

This is a tremendously exciting event due to the fact that players can choose which Godfest Exclusive they want to acquire and do not have to leave anything up to luck from rolling or community-based voting. As such, this is a fantastic opportunity plug in a theoretical hole in your Monster Box as many of these 7-star Godfest Exclusives are powerful.

Due to the fact that there are 10 different choices available, the one you choose will depend on which cards you have already acquired as it is almost always going to be more meaningful to have a new unique Witch as opposed to another duplicate of an existing monster.

With this in mind, I will be going over each of the 10 possible choices by showcasing their most relevant form and current usage to help players make a more informed decision if missing multiple Witches.

Finally, players do have a modest amount of time to decide on who they wish to Exchange for. As such, if you do roll in any upcoming Super Godfest (these always occur), you may acquire something you did not already have.

[Review] Cotton & Ney Buffs, New Ryune & Sylvie Evo, and More

Introduction

Last night, GungHo NA dropped a large update to existing characters that include huge buffs to all the Neys  and Cottons  along with Mega Awoken Evolutions for Ryune  and Sylvie .

These changes give players the opportunity to further their progression as Cotton has now become an incredible powerhouse while Ryune can act as an end game leader that is somewhat similar to Beach Barbara & Julie .

In addition to this, GungHo NA also announced that all players will receive 1 special pull at an NA-exclusive machine where one of the five 7* GFE (aka Witches     ) will come out!

All of these changes/announcements are making PAD incredibly exciting and November promises to be the best month to date. If you wish to read more about the upcoming November event including the free 100 Magic Stones, please refer to my previous article HERE.

Official notes on all the buffs and evolutions can be found on GungHo NA’s Facebook HERE.

Voice awakenings

The Voice  awakenings grant certain cards the ability to have a voice line when using their active skill in a dungeon. While this is a cosmetic effect, some players may feel upset that it takes up an awakening slot. Thankfully, it does not actually take away from the monster’s original power as GungHo has condensed either Skill Boost Skill Boost, Time Extend Time Extend, or double 50% bind Immunity Bind Immune into their stronger form   .
