Player’s Choice Godfest results have been officially announced and with it comes surprise, excitement, and a what the fujin moment (have to keep this PG-rated).
This article will express my thoughts and reactions to the voted 25 along with comparing it to my previous predictions of the winning line up.
PCGF will feature 5x rates and each card coming out at level 50 in addition to 10x rates for Ney on Day 1 and 10x rates for Yog on Day 2. Finally, this Godfest occurs alongside the +60 Carnival which means all pulls will result in +20 to each stat. Official announcement can be found HERE.
The arrival comes at a wonderful moment as I have just enough time to squeeze out one last article before I pack up my computer and move this weekend.
The Tamadra Carnival is in full swing and offers players a guaranteed chance at either a Baby or Adult Tamadra. Each pull will cost 500 Pal Points and may be contesting with the Plus Egg Pal Egg Machine in terms of appeal and value.
This article will quickly look at the stamina value/efficacy for using this special PEM along with some sample rolling.

Stamina value
The purpose of the Pal Egg Machine is to save players time and stamina as the rewards are often found in tedious dungeons or those that do not have collateral benefits. At this present time, the strongest events are the Plus Eggs and now Tamadras as both have amazing and direct stamina savings (there will be a future PEM that features rare boss drops such as Orpharion parts but that is not for the average player). Introduction
Player’s Choice Godfests (PCGF) are some of the most exciting events Puzzle and Dragons as it grants everyone to make their voice heard to create a special pool of monsters with increased rates.
When making the decision to roll or save your magic stones, you need to determine if the featured pantheons can benefit or complement your teams. Chasing for one specific monster is unwise as you will most likely be disappointed and should ideally have Godfests that overlap with many target cards. Remember all monsters that come out of the REM will qualify for Skill Inheritance so do not be too hasty when selling dupes. For a more detailed team building help, please refer to my Popular Leader’s and their Full Sub List Post which is in the process of being updated. Lastly, to find more information about a specific pantheon or monster, refer to my Master List to better refine your search. If you are considering to purchase any of the Monster Point cards, please refer to my updated Tier List for help and advice.
I also encourage you to visit my Discord server as it is full of knowledgeable and friendly people.
Introduction
The Autumn Equinox Godfest features 6x rates for Pantheon and GFE cards along with an overlapping guaranteed 5-star Carnival. This means that every roll will result in a gold or diamond egg; however, you can still acquire evolved forms of silver, but this is a meaningful boost overall.
In addition, all rolls will come with +50 to a random stat. If you wish to read more about Ney, please refer to my full review HERE.
On a sidenote, I am horribly swamped in real life due to packing and moving in a few weeks along with trying to find a new place to live so this article will be somewhat brief.

Ranking the cards – Pantheons & GFE
These rankings I assign cards are my own and take into consideration the card’s value as a leader, sub, inherit, and possibly any niche role they fulfill. In order to rank in the highest tier, the card has to excel in their respective role and cannot feasibly be replaced by anyone else. This can also be thought of as a Best in Slot card and tends to have applications on the top tier teams.
Despite my best to remain neutral, there is always the potential for bias and you need to be able to examine a card and determine if it can benefit your unique Monster Box and situation. Continue reading Autumn Equinox Godfest Review and Analysis→
The Summer Fall REM has finally returned to North America in September. While it may not be beach season for most of the Northern hemisphere, I am certain more tropical destinations are having fun in the sun. Regardless, the Beach REM has been significantly revamped to include 3 new cards along with a brand new evolution to one of our favourite busty girls.
Historically, having strong silvers present was what helped define a powerful Collab REM, but unfortunately, GungHo has been steadily shifting towards unique cards/abilities that cannot be mimicked through the regular REM. This has begun to force players to use their Magic Stones in these seasonal events even if the value is poor at the bottom.
I personally am not a fan of this trend as Magic Stones are already spread thin enough for the average player, but the Beach REM does offer incredible value at the very top. While it contains one of two colour absorb voids, the awakenings that the Beach Fujin carry enable her to be utilized beyond that of an inherit.

Perhaps the most important ranking table in this whole article. This is just for fun and should not be the reason you roll.
7×6 teams are the way of the future and even though I was first against them, I cannot deny the sheer power and potency they bring. Dungeons are designed with a 6×5 board in mind and having an additional 12 orbs (or 4 potential combos) to work with can trivialize various encounters.
This article will illustrate how I approach a 7×6 board along with the tips and strategies I utilize. I want to stress that this is not the only way to approach a given board and is simply the method I employ. Thus, you can use one or up to all the listed points and incorporate them as you deem fit.

6×5 strategies
I am well aware that this is a 7×6 board guide, but we still need to understand how a 6×5 board works, how it differs, and what strategies we can carry over. You can read more about it HERE.

Introduction
The Monster Bootcamp Part 2 Godfest features the first 7x rates for GFE as well as the debut of Ney .
Ney is a brand new 6-star GFE who features the first ever 5-evolution path that results in a uniquely powerful card who can be utilized by every single player. I go into more detail about Ney in my full review HERE.
Unfortunately, this Godfest features no additonal Plus Eggs with each roll and instead all cards come out at level 50. To poorly entice players, each roll will come with 1 free Tamadra. Finally, there will be no featured Pantheon cards which may result in overall lower rates for featured cards.

The Monster Bootcamp Part 2 Godfest will feature Ney’s debut and she will be the first Godfest Exclusive to have 5 distinct evolution paths. Ney is unique in that she is able to change her primary element, active, and leader skill to better suit your monster box. As a result, she will be the most flexible card to own as she can fulfill countless roles.
This article will provide an overview of her different evolution paths to better help you determine the best course of action.

Who is Ney?
Ney is a brand new 6-star Godfest Exclusive that has 5 unique evolution paths that will alter her usabiltiy across different teams. This also means she will be able to be fully utilized by essentially every single Monster Box and will be a major boon to own.
However, due to her rarity and 5 different forms, you will be somewhat pressured to collect them all. Thankfully, having a Godfest Exclusive with this much flexibility is a great thing as she will almost never go to waste. By comparison, Dark Kali is a phenomenal card to own, but her own viability is restricted to her narrow focus and not all players can fully capitalize on her strengths. As a result, all the Ney-sayers towards new Godfest Exclusives should be somewhat content with the introduction of Ney as she will not go to waste.
I have been dealing with a lot of real life stuff including a problematic PC so content has been delayed/put on hold. Regardless, I wanted to share my thoughts on the new Final Fantasy evolutions but mostly the brand new Void Damage Penetration awakening.
The Void Damage Penetration awakening will grant players new and efficient ways to deal with troublesome encounters and will join the ranks of my Holy Trinity of awakenings by replacing Guard Break .

Void Damage Penetration
Void Damage Penetration is often referred to as the Box awakening as it requires you to form a 3×3 box of that card’s colour to activate (must be exactly 3×3 of that entire colour, no more, no less). When activated, you will ignore damage void shields as well as provide 2.5x ATK to the Box awakening owner. This damage buff can stack with multiple boxes and will occur even without a Damage Void to break. Thus, you can utilize this as a way for a specific card to burst even higher against high defense spawns. Just be aware that this will not have an effect against absorbs, thus Sopdet. Parvati, Hera Dragon, and Vishnu will not be countered. Continue reading Quick Thoughts on Final Fantasy and Void Damage Penetration Awakening→
The concept of trading has been one of the most highly desired and debated topics within the Puzzle and Dragons community since the game launched. However, it has the chance to run awry if restrictions and limitations are not put in place. Many players would love to have the opportunity to trade REM cards, but that would simply result in players creating numerous alternate accounts, hoarding stones, then trading away to their main.
As such, GungHo has forbidden the trading of REM cards as well as any card with a sale price of 100 Monster Points or above. Furthermore, you must also be at least rank 110 and your trading partner must have been on your friends list for at least 30 days. Finally, traded cards must be of the same rarity/stars.
This article will explain how the trading process works, provide guidance on what are desired items, establish a baseline value for commonly traded cards, and advice on how to add value, improve your own desirability, and how to make the most of trading with multiple accounts.

Trading in Puzzle and Dragons checklist
Trading is a phenomenal aspect to come to Puzzle and Dragons as it will allow players to round out their Monster Boxes, even out poor drop distributions, as well as acquiring specific evolution materials. Furthermore, it can also help empower your favourite monsters by being able to trade Pys, pluses, and Snowglobes.
