Puzzle and Dragons is a challenging game as it combines numerous different elements but the orb solving/puzzling aspect is one of the most endearing aspects. Despite playing for over 2,000 days, I still have lots to learn about optimally solving various boards want to dedicate a post to better solving these.
For the most part, utilizing a bicolour board is the best way to optimize your potential as it usually yields the highest number of combos along with the most concentrated damage. With that being said, there are more optimal ways for solving these for both vanilla combos and for specific awakenings. Continue reading Optimal Boards Compilation→
The Monster Hunter Collab is in full swing and one of the more exciting features is the inclusion of the Male and Female Hunters. These cards are able to be evolved into a total of 12 distinct evolutions while also having the option of exchanging either 3 Evolved Male/Female Hunters for a special new Hunter.
This article will provide a brief summary of what each Hunter does and where how they can be used along with advice on whether the 3:1 Hunters are worthwhile.

Acquiring Hunters
During the current Monster Hunter event, players will receive one base Male Hunter in the mail and an earn an additional Male and one Female from clearing the Monster Hunter dungeons. As such, some players will be in possession of several Hunters. In addition to these free Hunters, each base form can be purchased for 200,000 Monster Points. The Monster Hunter Collab is in full swing and with it comes the special Skill Leveling Dungeon. This dungeon enables players to enter with their newly acquired rolls to skill them up for the low price of 50 stamina.
Generally speaking, this is an amazing medium as it can potentially allow for 5 skill ups for 50 stamina (1 per card) and is the most stamina efficient place to do so.
With that being said, players should NOT be skilling up all Monster Hunter cards, especially those being used as a dedicated Weapon Assist .

Skill Leveling Dungeon
Skill Leveling Dungeons are one of the best parts of a Collaboration as it enables players to efficiently Skill Up their newly acquired cards. In essence, players check the levels available and simply populate their team with those respective cards. Continue reading Skilling Up Monster Hunter Cards→
**All pulls will cost 10 Magic Stones**
Review of the Hunters will be done separately
Introduction
This coming Monday marks the exiting return of the Monster Hunter Collab which was last seen in January of 2018. Amusingly, the Weapon Assists from Monster Hunter have become arguably more powerful with end game content heavily featuring problematic mechanics that are best dealt with by resisting them.
For the most part, the Monster Hunter Collab can be thought of as the Weapon Assist Collab as all of the cards are able to assume a Weapon Assist evolutions which grants the 5-star cards incredible value. As such, it is worth rolling in this event for just the 5-star cards as some are able to provide 60% resistance to Blind , Jammer , or Poison attacks.
Furthermore, all cards (new and returning) are able to be Limit Broken and receive Super Awakenings which pumps their weighted stats to amazingly high values.
Despite the fact that the top rarity cards are able to be acquired via the Monster Exchange system, the cost is far too high and would be difficult to justify for the majority of players.
This article will highlight the strengths and weaknesses of all the featured cards to give players a better understanding of whether or not Magic Stones should be spent. With that being said, the answer will often be yes if one should be rolling in this event as it holds so many valuable cards for pushing into the higher levels of Arena and end game content.
On a different note, I have hidden a special Easter Egg in this article =)

With Version 17.0, players are able to now convert their Rainbow Event Medals into Event Medal – Rainbow Gems which are classified as an Evolution Material. As such, they are able to stack but the problem is the Evolution Material form is unable to be used for anything other than Super Reincarnated Evolutions. Thus, they would stack, but players would be not able to use them to purchase cards like Odysseus .
With this in mind, only convert Rainbow Event Medals into their Evolution Material form if performing a Super Reincarnated Awakening.
If you have not used your BFF token or hit 150, 250, or rank 500, you will lose them after the next maintenance on
4/17 (Wed) 6pm (UTC-8)
Introduction
After the next maintenance, all players will be able to select a new Best Friend (BFF) along with the various Rank Machine resets. This is wonderful as it gives all players various benefits for free but you must use it or lose it. This is because the reset will give players another Best Friend selection that will not override your existing ones but failing to use a current selection will not carry over after the reset.
Best Friends are a vital part of your PAD experience as it will enable you to expand the leaders available as well as gaining additional Pal Points.
This article will explain the Friend and Best Friend System along with how you can improve your chances of being selected by strangers as well as how to form BFF Triangles.
From the previous reset, I was the first player on any PAD server to achieve 300/300 Best Friends on my Mantastic account and wondering if I can achieve that same status on Fantastic as I am around 175. With this in mind, if you wish to Best Friend Mantastic or Fantastic, please leave your ID number, your in game name, and which account you want to Best Friend. Mantastic can only accept a handful of players as I can only delete a few inactive BFF.
With the REMDra Fever Ranking Dungeon coming to a close today, many players will be suddenly in possession of an additional 14 Rainbow Event Medals . These medals are a limited currency used in the Monster Exchange System that does not stack. As such, they may be cluttering your Monster Box and the temptation to spend may be high.
At this point in time, Odysseus has been one of the best places to spend your Rainbow Event Medals but with the Monster Exchange Survey, players may have another medium to utilize these coins.
For the most part, I am inclined to only spend my Rainbow Event Medals on Odysseus due to the lower cost and sizable benefit as well as saving for future undetermined events.

Limit availability
Rainbow Event Medals are a limited currency within Puzzle and Dragons due to the fact that they cannot be repeatedly farmed through stamina usage like Plus Eggs. As such, players should be conservative with their spending as we do not know what kind of content will be released in the future. Continue reading What to do with all your Rainbow Event Medals→
Do you still have REMDra Fever? Eager to grind away for another two days for a second Crown? Then you are in luck as Part 2, 7×6 has just begun!
The REMDra Fever Ranking Dungeon is completely different compared to previous Ranking tournaments because Crowns are not just awarded to the top X% of players. Instead, we receive a score for every successful clear of the REMDra Fever Ranking Dungeon and this will be added to all other clears. This cumulative total will then be used to determine our rewards but the most important aspect is players will secure a Crown if they hit 999,999 points. This Crown is guaranteed regardless of how much of the player base achieves this score.
This concept of a “free” Crown sounds almost too good to be true and it somewhat is. We only have a very limited amount of time to play these dungeons and if you are busy for those few days, you will be out of luck. Furthermore, the 999,999 score cap will be difficult/impossible to achieve without ranking up or refilling stamina.
This article will explain how the new rules for REMDra Fever work and how to maximize your score potential.
As a side note, Part 2 will be faster due to the 7×6 aspect as it will yield higher average scores per run. Furthermore, players may wish to farm the dungeon for the lucrative rewards and there is a swipe build available to hasten this process.
If you are interested in some 7×6 solving strategies, check out my previous article HERE.
Do you like Crowns? Do you like Grinding? Are you tired of only the top 3-7% getting Crowns? Do you enjoy painful time constraints? If you answered yes to all of the above then you will love the REMDra Fever Ranking Dungeon! In fact there are two parts which means players have the chance to earn two Crowns!

Cloud City’s Scarlet Blaze makes a return to North America and is an exact repeat of its first inception. With this in mind, I have decided to simply repost my original clears with older and less ideal teams here. The main point of this is to showcase how one can go about these dungeons as they do have troublesome mechanics despite us having better cards at our disposal.
Most of the commentary found below was from my initial impressions of the dungeon and it is actually quite interesting to see how team building has evolved over time.
Challenge 10
Challenge 10 was surprisingly straight forward and was actually done first try on both accounts. —
Challenge 9
I realized from extensive testing on Fantastic that the poison skyfalls could easily ruin a promising run. —
