Myr is the strongest farmable monster released to date and is also considered one of the best leaders in the game. This is mostly due to her unbindability, 75% damage reduction shield, and 49x ATK multiplier. All of these combine beautifully into one Myraculous monster. However, due to a recent tournament held by GungHo that featured various iconic community members, Myr will be receiving a buff thanks to the puzzling skills of Luka. As such, Myr (and Beach Myr ) will be buffed to a 7.7x ATK lead which results in a 59.29x ATK team along with some minor stat improvements.

How does this make me feel
Initial reactions
Aside from the strange heading, this buff comes with somewhat mixed emotions. First off, Myr did not need the buff. In the past, GungHo has done player surveys to determine who should receive the next wave of buffs and time after time, people vote for something that is already strong/in a good place. As such, the buffs they receive are small at best and we lose out on the opportunity to improve someone who is in need of improvements. I was hoping Zaerog Infinity would have received the buff as he was once heralded as the strongest farmable monster and only needs a bit of improvement to see more playtime as a leader or sub. Green Odin was once heralded as a heroic leader in Puzzle and Dragons when dungeons had very few mechanics and his damage reduction leader skill reigned supreme. However, time has not been kind to our favourite set of abs as bosses started to have multi-hit mechanics along with requiring a damage multiplier to kill. However, the past few months have seen numerous buffs to Odin that granted him a damage multiplier on top of his reduction shield. Furthermore, both Odin and Odin Dragon have received a unique upgrade to their active that allows them to fulfill a new niche role.

As a fair warning, the audio came out louder than usual.

How valuable is the new Awoken Skill bind clear?
It becomes apparent that both Odin and Odin Dragon are niche at best. Thankfully, with their new awoken skill bind clear, they now fulfill a unqiue, albeit powerful role. Off the top of my head, bosses that disable your awoken skills include, but not limited to: Lakshmi, Folklore, and Linthia. Lakshmi also binds your skills so you cannot do anything about it and Folklore ranges from annoying to semi dangerous in the various dungeons he appears in.
However, Linthia has widely been regarded as a very dangerous encounter who is very unforgiving and quickly able to kill even the most resilient of teams. You are able to delay her, but unless you are using a very long delay, your window of opportunity will be small as the awoken bind is for five turns. Thankfully, either Odin or Odin Dragon can fully remove all the remaining turns of the awakenings bind and would allow your team to deal their full damage immediately, no stalling or dancing required. This will perhaps be more valuable in the Special Descend Rush dungeon or Ultimate Descend Rush where Linthia appears under much more dangerous circumstances.
Furthermore, by being able to remove awoken skill binds may be a foreshadowing of more bosses who possess this dangerous ability. We cannot know what the next wave of mechanics has in store, but it is wise to be prepared ahead of time to try and stay as close to the meta when it arrives.
Conclusion
Green Odin and Odin Dragon have been given a new purpose with their latest buff. By being able to accomplish something on one else can do warrants your time and investment. There may very well be a new wave of monsters who can also achieve the same effect, but it never hurts to be prepared early. However, due to their current niche uses as subs, Green Odin may become a more favourable bind clear assistant or as a means to upgrade an existing active.
The Island Luau Godfest comes in tandem with the release of two new Godfest Exclusives: Gremory and Ronove . Both these leaders bring a new twist to the heart-cross patterns and are capable of clearing end game content. The purpose of this post is to quickly summarize and theory craft teams for these two new top tier leaders.
Just keep in mind that the heart cross shield/additional multiplier carries over on a floor sweep. This means it will protect you from preemptive strikes but also retains the additional multiplier if there is no preemptive of any kind.

When making the decision to roll or save your magic stones, you need to determine if the featured pantheons can benefit or compliment your teams. Chasing for one specific monster is unwise as you will most likely be disappointed and should ideally have Godfests that overlap with many target cards. Remember all monsters that come out of the REM will qualify for Skill Inheritance so do not be too hasty when selling dupes. For a more detailed team building help, please refer to my full list Popular Leader’s and their Full Sub List Post. Lastly, to find more information about a specific pantheon or monster, refer to my Master List to better refine your search. If you are considering to purchase a Four Gentlemen card, please read my Review and Comparison HERE.
Introduction
The Island Luau Godfest comes right before the PAD Island REM and presents players with a tough decision of where to spend their hard earned magic stones. To further entice players to roll this godfest, GungHo has combined a 4x GFE event alongside the release of Gremory and Ronove . Where you decide to spend your stones depends on your monster box and goals along with how desirable PAD Island is for you.

Day 1:
The Indian 1 Pantheon finally has all their Awoken evolutions; however, many of them are starting to fall out of the meta due to the speed of powercreep. Furthermore, Shiva , Lakshmi , and Parvati only come into their full power with their awoken forms and will be quite weak beforehand. Thankfully, Indra and Vritra have some value (albeit niche) on several teams prior to awoken evolutions. The main drawback of the Indian 1 is the delay between their uses on pull and acquiring their awoken evolution.
Let’s go to the beach, each. Let’s go get a wave eh. Poor singing aside, summer is in full swing and GungHo has decided to spoil their fans by releasing one of the most exciting Collab REMs to date. Like the June Bride REM, the PAD Island REM features a diverse array of monsters that are valuable at both the 8-star level as well as 4-star tier. Their power combined with festively drawn artwork and beach-wear attire is simply Myraculous. The prizes of this REM include Bikini Eschamali , Summyr , Goemon , and Navi . However, nearly every single card in this REM brings something to this beach party and is well worth several rolls, even if just for the silver eggs. Overall, this collab promises to be a Splashing success.
As a side note, they missed the glorious opportunity to have a topless Lifeguard Odin. Antonio could have had a new Halloween costume.

Naration of this article in my Mantastic voice. I don’t read word for word and is more so a summary so reading is still a good idea!
GH Boss: “We need to increase revenue, think of an idea!”
GH Peon: “Recolour Myr, make her prettier, less Lolli, and 500K MP?”
GH Boss: “What a Myraculous idea! 5 magic stone pay raise, go roll yourself a new silver egg!”
Perhaps this played out differently than my imagination, but it is akin to the trend of making an Eschamali in every colour. It has already been well established that Light Myr is one of the top tier leads and is capable of clearing any dungeon Puzzle and Dragons has to offer (you can see my Arena 3 clear/video HERE). 49x ATK may not sound that impressive; however, when paired with a 75% damage reduction shield and the ability to stack row enhances, you are capable of delivering lethal damage while benefiting from 4x HP/RCV when forming a heart cross.
Unfortuantely, Beach Myr is an 8-star Collab roll or 500,000 Monster Points and is a colour swap of the 100% farmable Light Myr. With such a steep price tag for what essentially amounts to something you can acquire through a lot of hard work and dedication, is it really worth the cost? If you wish to read more about Light Myr, feel free to check out my discussion HERE. If you wish to read my full PAD Island review, please check out my next article HERE.

Here is me discussing my article in my Mantastic Voice. Simply another medium to absorb the information:

Damage and shield carry over on a sweep and persist if no preemptive
You can touch and hold a heart orb after using Myr’s active to cancel the change the world effect without triggering an enemy’s turn
Sample gameplay
Beach Myr has a unique playstyle and is one of the few leaders to utilize the heart-cross formation to deal damage. Furthermore, the extensive additional time to move orbs allows you to fully set up your board. Light Miru has been heavily utilized by the Japanese player base and Beach Myr is also capable of Myraculous clears.
Heart-crosses are now a thing whether you like it or are cross about it. However, GungHo has decided to branch out and start creating leader skills that are reliant on colour-crosses to deal damage. This has led to the highest multipliers in the game; however, can overwhelming damage compensate for a lack of survivability? Furthermore, how powerful are the non-6 star rolls? Outside of the colour cross theme at the top, the lower end monsters offer numerous True Damage options to truly let your button teams shine. To top it off, all the following monsters qualify as assistants for Skill Inheritance due to evolving into a 5-star form.

Video Overview
I am trying something new here by summerizing all the rolls from the Kenshin Collab via a YouTube video to give you another medium to learn all about your favourite cards and may become a trend moving forward for other Collab/Godfests/major Monster Analysis articles.
I managed to record my top 2% ranking score by using Sumire paired with You Yu . I am not sure if I will be able to achieve a top 1% score this time, but this was one of my first few attempts and do have room for improvement.
Video
I could min-max better, but this is still a solid performance:
Points to improve upon
When using You Yu as either your friend or your own leader, you need to keep in mind his Balance Killer awakening and how he will deal 3x damage to the final boss. Furthermore, you are forced to combo on Wadatsumi any way. Thus, you should be trying to hit the damage cap there instead of on floors with the fire bosses. As such, you can then sweep the easier floors with fewer combos/actives and improve your speed. I decided to swap out my plus-less Skuld for my +297 I&I to provide 2x damage and assist in hitting the 40 million required.
Fantastic Score
I decided to use Yomi Dragon for Fantastic due to a less ideal Sumire / You Yu pairing. Furthermore, Fantastic has an Eschamali and Goetia for the numerous dark orb enhances. 36x ATK is still respectable, but it requires more effort to hit the damage cap and I brought Oku to ensure I could hit 40 million on the second floor as I lack a Haku / Akechi combo.
That was perhaps a bit too much damage and it did cost me additional time.
Conclusion
5 orb, 1 enhance reigns supreme in this ranking tournament due to the removal of Shiva Dragon and the fire absorption. I am uncertain if I could achieve another crown this time around as the lack of consistency for both teams hinders my performance. Sometimes I wish I had bought You Yu just for easy ranking crowns.
Let me know what you are using and how well you are scoring.
Following up on my first Arena 3 clear this morning, I decided to record my subsequent playthrough and boy was it Myraculous. Myr is my current favourite team to play and I feel a strong attachment in my heart, although that could be the heart crosses talking. Regardless, Myr has 49x ATK and a 75% damage reduction shield when matching a heart cross and can stack either TPA or Light Rows while heavily benefiting from numerous enhanced light orb awakenings. Sidenote, have you ever seen a more Mantastic face before?
Video
This had to be one of the most challenging end floor spawns I have ever encountered and it was quite Myracle I am still alive to tell the tale. Despite the long playtime, it is actually quite exciting to watch and I hope it is both entertaining as well as informative:
Wadatsumi Tournament is the next installment in the ranking dungeon series and offers players a chance to acquire 10,000 Monster Points and various coloured Py. The goal of these tournaments is to “test” our skill by imposing a scoring system to determine your percentile ranking. We may not be chasing gold medals and the podium in Rio, but we are still champions and some of us will even walk away with a shiny new hat.
In these ranking dungeons, we are scored based on 3 criteria:
Average combos made: 5,000 points per combo
Time Remaining: 500 points per second remaining
Maximum damage: up to 10,000 points if you hit 40 million.
Sidenote, I have the best Photoshop skills.
