I have made an updated post for Bleach and can be found HERE.
Get your laundry machine ready for all those wet pants. Also, do not forget the Bleach to get all those pesky stains out because the Bleach Collab is finally coming to Puzzle and Dragons North America! A fair warning to all those thinking of rolling is the rarest (aka gold eggs) are incredibly rare to roll and you must prepare for the worst emotionally and financially. However, do keep in mind that all these monsters qualify for Skill Inheritance so do not be too hasty in selling without thinking first. There are some amazing cards to be had such as Rukia and Ichigo , but they will also be the most elusive. Best of luck to those rolling and enjoy my full Collab REM analysis. If we continue to receive very early warnings about upcoming godfests from PuzzledragonX, it may be feasible to do my own breakdown of the featured pantheons. I guess that if I start doing these regularly, I would already have the templates already made. Regardless, I am going to try something new with these posts and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Day 1:
Day 1 features some of the most coveted monsters in Puzzle and Dragons. The Chinese Celestial have always been a powerhouse pantheon and has undergone numerous buffs and evolutions to stay relevant. Perhaps this is because all 5 are pretty girls or because they are one of the oldest sets of gods, but regardless, they are fantastic to own and make some of the best subs for their respective mono-colour teams. On the other hand, the Sengoku series are much newer and do not posses an ultimate evolution. This is beneficial as their significant power will dramatically increase with augmented stats and awakenings.

Notes
Awoken Leilan —- All + haste
9 turn CD
Leilan has legs to die for along with being a mono red powerhouse with a healthy mixture of offensive and utility based awakenings. She can also be effectively combo-ed with other orb changers to create fire heavy boards. Unfortunately, the 2 top fire teams, Awoken Shiva and Shiva Dragon seldom use due to no two prong attack awakenings or god typing. Hopefully with a release of more based teams she will see a resurgence in popularity. Lastly, can form a system on Ilm teams.
As a leader, forms a 12.25x ATK team with 51% damage reduction from Fire, Wood, and Light enemies. Has situational uses, but is usually used as a sub.
Awoken Karin —-
All + haste
9 turn CD
I have a borderline irrational love for Karin and probably stems from my favourite colour being blue, dragons, and a pretty girl all rolled into amazing one monster. Fanboying aside, is most at home on the various mono-blue powerhouse leads such as Blue Sonia and Awoken I&I / Ryune . Karin’s active, while powerful, is somewhat overshadowed by other water full board changers as she does not generate hearts and most likely needs to be used in conjunction with another orb changer to ensure sufficient water rows.
As a leader, forms a 12.25x ATK team with 51% damage reduction from Water, Wood, and Dark enemies. Has situational uses, but she is mostly used as a sub.
Awoken Meimei —-
All + haste
9 turn CD
Meimei was once the primary wood board changer and she still reigns strong today. Her awakenings are more powerful than Verdandi and Sylvie and only loses ground due to not manufacturing heart orbs. can be used to great success on Sylvie / Freyja , Awoken Bastet , and Spica teams. Furthermore, multiple ‘s can be used to form a “Meimei System” with Zuoh as a lead.
As a leader, forms a 12.25x ATK team with 51% damage reduction from Wood, Light, and Dark enemies. Has situational uses, but she is mostly used as a sub.
Sakuya has gone through a roller coaster ride of ups and downs over the course of her PAD career. She is still currently one of the strongest leaders (and now subs) in her awoken form as she can scale up to 100x damage at 10 combos. The main pitfalls of using are a high skill cap, damage inconsistency/orb troll (as it is a scaling and high skill multiplier), and dependency on Light Kalis or other board refreshers. It is still possible to play Sakuya effectively without board changers, but it is becoming harder in today’s meta. Lastly, without any HP/RCV multiplier, it may be challenging to recover after attacks or when stalling. All that negativity aside, is still an amazing leader and has been my go to team for over 2 years and have used her to clear numerous Challenge 10s.
‘s uses as a sub are now wide and varied as she combines both a gravity and 3-turn bind clear while being bind immune. Furthermore, essentially outclasses Light Metatron in nearly every aspect as a sub.
Awoken Haku —-
All + haste
9 turn CD
Awoken Haku was once a critical dark sub to own due to her utility and active. Thankfully, other options have opened up, but should not diminish her value. Furthermore, her exceptionally high base recovery dramatically increases your healing potential on many dark teams. Even without any awakenings, can still warrant a slot on your team due to her utility and explosive combo potential with Akechi . Haku can also find a home on Yomi Dragon , Awoken Yomi , and Awoken Anubis teams. Lastly, her D/D evolution has the devil typing and can be successfully used on Awoken Pandora teams.
As a leader, forms a 12.25x ATK team with 51% damage reduction from Fire, Water, and Dark enemies. Has situational uses, but is usually used as a sub.
Over the Easter long weekend, I hit the elusive 900 day login on Mantastic. The focus of my site has been mostly guide writing/analysis and less blog-like in nature. However, everyone needs their ego flower watered from time to time and 900 days is quite the achievement. If you wish to read about my 800 days post, click HERE. Puzzle and Dragons is easily my longest played mobile device game and is catching up to my DotA 1 days from years ago in terms of my longest game ever played.
~7,758 runs of KoG for my lifetime rank EXP
What keeps PAD interesting for me is the concept of stamina and the necessity in planning your usage as well as content being time-gated. If we were given unlimited stamina along with access to all the toys, many players would probably have lost interest and quit long before a few hundred days. By not having instant gratification and instead having to work your way towards a goal (whether it be a full pentamax team or first +297) greatly appeals to me and keeps me coming back for more. Granted things come easier compared to when I first started playing and this is to lessen the grinding component and to encourage new players to play. I am grateful for more efficient mediums for plus egg farming, pal point generation, and the ease in which monster experience or evolution materials can be pulled. All of this allows me to focus on the fun aspects of the game which are challenging descends and experimenting with new teams. Continue reading 900 Days of PAD and why I Keep Coming Back for More→
Challenge Dungeons 23 features 7×6 boards and was one of the easier challenges to date. We now have access to amazingly powerful monsters, an unlimited stalling potential second floor (through Parvati), and a delay-able final boss for Challenge 10.
I cleared Ch10 with both my accounts and was able to record a Fantastic clear with truly exciting gameplay….because I omitted the 99 turns I waited out on the second floor. Both accounts used all their actives to burst the first floor as you can endlessly stall on the second floor.
With the anticipated release of the revamped Star Vault, Star Treasure Thieves’ Den (Star Den), we now have another means to acquire the coveted plus eggs. For 50 stamina, you are able to acquire a a guaranteed 10 plus eggs with minimal difficulty. This makes Star Den the most efficient place to farm plus eggs from both a time and stamina efficacy point of view.

Such buttons, much skill, very Plus Eggs
Damage Hurdles
The first four floors can have a maximum of 117,133 HP and is able to be swept with minimal combos or even a push button team. Do note that Goemon’s active cannot one shot a blue ogre so avoid using his active on those floors or bring a back up damage dealer such as Bone Fish, Fire/Wood, or Water/Wood Ogres. Furthermore, Red Odin requires 2343 ATK to safely nuke the Green Ogres down. This requires either:
+40 ATK pluses
5 ATK & 19 ATK pluses
The final boss floor has up to 1.9 million HP. The main benefit of running Star Den over Goemon, Zeus, or Valkyrie descended is receiving 1 extra plus per run and has the potential to be push-button farmed. Even if you do not have a team that can button farm Star Den, you can easily sweep the floors with a Two-Prong match and remaining actives for the final boss.

Do note that all these values are for single player mode. Simply, double the rates for Stamina/+ and Exp/Stamina.

Full post on my 10x chart can be found HERE. As you can see, Star Den is the most lucrative place to farm plus eggs and mainly lags behind in rank exp per stamina spent.
Conclusion
Even though some players may quickly mow through the dungeon, they still receive the same pluses per completion. They simply wish to acquire as many possible within their hourly limit and will repeatedly stone to do so. With the advent of stamina overflow, refilling stamina is a viable method and you can calculate your plus eggs per magic stone used. For example, if you have 150 stamina, you can expect 60 pluses per stone (in coop). This translates into 300 (60*5) pluses per REM roll. Just keep this in mind when deciding if it is worthwhile to stone for stamina.
Awoken Pandora /+ haste 9 turn CD 1.56x HP / 6.25-25x ATK / 1.56x RCV (Devil based team)
Match 4-8 connected dark orbs
Awoken Pandora is one of the most powerful leaders in Puzzle and Dragons as she combines both burst and survivability. Dark monsters have historically been the strongest colour as they have amazing synergy and a deep sub pool. Thankfully, there are a number of dark devils to draw upon and only main weakness is bind removal options. plays similarity to Awoken Lucifer teams in that they both share the same durable row-based playstyle. You can read my guide HERE. Lastly, you are able to control your damage through dark row activation as well as stacking actives to unleash some of the highest total burst damage in the game.
Pros:
Ability to control your damage as this is becoming more relevant with specific absorption shields that require you to hit less damage
Bolstered health and recovery allow for easier stalling and removes the need to bring damage mitigation
Leaders have a combined 6 dark row , 2 skill lock resist , and 2 time extend awakenings
Recover Bind awakening can be powerful provided leaders are not bound
Spectacular burst damage potential
Active is an amazingly powerful tool to generate dark orbs, hearts, and haste
Awoken Archdemon Lucifer 1.82x HP / 16.4x ATK / 1.82x RCV (God & Devil based team) Arena 1 Strategy Guide
Awoken Archdemon Lucifer is one of the most powerful leaders in Puzzle and Dragons as he combines both burst and survivability along with flexible team building. Dark monsters have historically been the strongest colour as they have amazing synergy and a deep sub pool. Unlike Yomi Dragon or Awoken Pandora , Lucifer can use both God and Devil type monsters which grants him access to subs that would otherwise not fully benefit from the leader skill. Furthermore, you are able to control your damage through dark row activation as well as stacking actives to unleash some of the highest total burst damage in the game.
Pros:
Ability to control your damage as this is becoming more relevant with specific absorption shields that require you to hit less damage
Bolstered health and recovery allow for easier stalling and removes the need to bring damage mitigation
Leaders have a combined 6 dark row , 2 skill lock resist , and 6 skill boost awakenings
God Killer awakening is amazingly powerful as it allows your leaders to deal 3x damage to god type bosses
Spectacular burst damage potential
Team building is quite flexible as you can use God or Devil types
I probably speak for everyone in saying that Awoken Spodet and her 200k absorb shield is one of the deadliest encounters in Puzzle and Dragons. is a dangerous encounter that can be found in many challenge dungeons, Arena, or Sphinx Descended. She is the cause of many heart breaks and I wanted to share some strategies I use to mitigate the risk.
The pain is real
There will always be an element of luck involved when playing PAD, but it becomes even more apparent when unwanted skyfalls heal instead of killing her. Generally speaking, has
~1.5 million health
Light element to start and switches to dark when under 50%.
Takeminakata Tournament – No Active Skills is another ranking dungeon being released that somewhat levels the playing field as the no active restriction will be imposed. This automatically removes some silly cheese teams that had excessive rare subs that most players had no access to compared to earlier tournaments. This also means we will be solely based upon our matching skills and with only 5 floors, our amount of combos matched will also be rewarded.
There has been a lot of calculations done in order to min/max your ranking score and it has been determined that that in a 5-floor dungeon, additional combos and cascades/skyfalls help your score. This does not mean teams solely focused on speed will do poorly, but players who are able to match combos faster will be more heavily rewarded.

There are no silly mechanics such as 10 million defence PreDRAs and the main hurdle to overcome for rainbow teams is the pre-emptive jammers on floor 3.
In these ranking dungeons, we are scored based on 3 criteria:
Average combos made: 5,000 points per combo
Time Remaining: 500 points per second remaining
Maximum damage: up to 10,000 points if you hit 40 million.
Taking a look at the JP server’s top 10 list, it becomes apparent that high time extend teams paired with large multiplier leads excel. Furthermore, the Ra Dragon users (can also be extended to any rainbow team too) brought a reasonable amount of jammer resistance to ensure consistent activation on floor 3.
